Bovella's Bakery Cafe

All it took was one recommendation and I’ve been coming here ever since 2017. Staff has great customer service skills, everyone’s patient and the pricing isn’t bad. Parking varies however, on a busy weekend, you’ll be lucky to find parking outside Bovellas. They do have two locations! & the cakes here are wonderful. Strawberry shortcake has became one of my favorites, but they’re all just as great as well as their pastries.

Went to Bovellas to meet old friends for a coffee. The waitress was very accommodating as my friends and I were taking quite a long time to decide what we wanted. Decided to split the French toast which was wonderful .topped with blackberries. Blueberries. And raspberries. Lattes were delicious and nice and hot. Service superb. Would definitely go back and maybe have a lunch item next time.

The food and service was terrific! I had my first Taylor Pork Roll sandwich, and I wish I had bought some when I was in NJ as it's not available on Long Island. My wife and aunt had thick cut challah french toast. A good time was enjoyed by everyone!

This is a huge bakery lots of options for Italian cookies, pastries, and cakes. I called ahead of time to place a cake order. I was able to do it easily over the phone. When I showed up, I need to pick up one more cake and stuff was able to do it very quickly. It does get very busy inside I may have to wait a little bit for service. Highly recommend the tiramisu cake and the carrot cake - both were hit at a party!

Great bakery, and better service. We had an issue with a stale cookie that slipped through the cracks (unusual for them!). My husband called just to let them know so they didn't sell any more of them. Less than 30 minutes later, they showed up at our door - at least a 12-15m drive - with replacements. Who does that?! So great of them. Have always had great experiences here, but this one takes the cake (pun intended). :)

I’ve only had select pastries that I picked up on my way home from work and a few times I got milkshakes (chocolate and vanilla) both shakes and pastries were delicious and one day I plan to stop in for an actual sit down lunch. The atmosphere is nice and it smells delicious so I’m sure it’ll be great. Once I get the chance, I’ll update this review but for now I can say, their bakery and milkshakes are great.

Went here for a brunch and really enjoyed it. I got the hot chocolate which came with a ring of whipped cream around the top of the mug. The short rib hash was delicious and very flavorful. It almost looks small but it's so filling of a dish. Would come back to try more!

Delicious! They gave my daughter a free scone, and it was her first time having one, and now she's hooked on going here. The scones and cookies are delicious!!! Also, bought a birthday cake here a while ago and everyone raved about the cake and how delicious it was. The cake was delicious!!!

THE BEST BAKERY HANDS DOWN!! I had been searching for a bakery to give me my childhood feels. I'd been wanting sweets that weren't just sweet but cravable, delicious, flavorful. Finally at Bovella's I've found that. Each minicake/pie that I tasted was better than the next. This is more than childhood feels, it's the adult translation. The flavors are sweet but complex. The baked goods are sooo fresh! I ate the nutella chocolate tart three days after I purchased it and it was so delicious. I cannot say how much I loved the experience of being in the bakery and talking through the options. I will be back very soon.

I wish they weren’t so far away, I’d have breakfast here every weekend. The French Toast is ridiculous, I mean seriously I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I had a late lunch once too and had the one of the specials which seems seasonal cause it was a Mardis Gras inspired dish and that was super delicious too.

Bovella’s can be a bit pricey however they are consistent and accommodating. I primarily order take out via Uber eats and every time they have gotten my order correctly including my special request for dietary restrictions (lacto - vegetarian). I’ve also dined in on several occasions and had the same experience and the staff has always been friendly and attentive. I would like to see more vegetarian options added to the menu however for now I am content with my twice monthly breakfast and lunch occasional lunches. Pictured is delivery avocado toast, no eggs, avocado on the side to preserve the toast. I’ve ordered this over a dozen times and it’s always correct and always delicious.

Nothing ordinary about Bovella's Bakery Cafe! An array of cookies, cakes and pastries greets you as you enter! Breakfast/lunch was delicious... Eggs Benedict, Jersey Pork Roll, Egg & Cheese on Croissant, and Apple Cinnamon Challah French Toast Swirl for the adults and Grilled Cheese and Chicken Fingers for the kids! Also grabbed some cupcakes and cannolis to bring home! Service was excellent! Definitely will go back after I lose the 5 pounds I just gained! 😁

We have been several times and everything we have tried is delicious. My current favorite is the dark chocolate raspberry tart. We went to a birthday breakfast here and had the best experience- friendly staff and delicious food!

This bakery is used by one of the Jersey Shore's top wedding venue, Clarks Landing located in Point Pleasant. I was a little curious as to why they used a bakery so far away (over an hour) but the day I went to my cake testing I instantly knew why. The staff was great and the Baker was amazing! All the cake and fillings we tasted were amazing and it was so hard to choose what we wanted. With expertise from the Baker himself, we were able to create an very great tasting wedding cake. The design of the cake it's self was perfect and they were able to do exactly what I wanted! I would recommend this bakery to anyone looking for the perfect wedding cake or even pastries!! Thanks for helping make our wedding perfect!

I can only speak on the Bakery aspect of Bovellas and from what I ordered, this place was on point..You could do bicep curls with the weight if the crumb cake. So good. Was a little disappointed not offering a Boston Cream donut, but the jelly made you forget really fast. This is a solid Bakery and I cannot wait to go back again.

First of all, best service ever. Thank you Joe F and David, they were so amazing and accommodating. We enjoyed every bite and even had dessert after our Nutella waffle and Nutella crepe. Will definitely be back over and over again!

Delicious bakery, breakfast/lunch and the best coffee around. Love going there for meetings and we recommend it to all of our GameChanger members!

First time visiting in maybe year the menu changed a little but I have to say everything was excellent I loved my waiter he was on point don’t remember his name. Pancakes , beef rib skillet , steak and chicken sandwich all was excellent . People take note excellent hot food , excellent service and excellent pricing we will be back more often .

Hands down one of the best bakeries. Went to them to get my son a birthday cake and nothing was wasted. The kids loved it. The cake and the frosting. Saw a photo on Pinterest and they matched it exactly as pictured. Will definitely go again for all my special events.
