Johnny's Pizzeria

Came here on Pi day 3/14 for a large plain pie and a grandma’s pie. The plain pie is 11.00 and the grandmas was a little higher. The style is thin crust and does not disappoint. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and nice to talk to while we waited. The sauce is sweet but not overly sweet and the grandma pie was super tasty. I will be back.

My first time here. I got a cheese pie. When I say the sauce was amazing. They did not disappoint you can tell it was made with love. I will definitely be back.

After having ordered multiple times, this is becoming my go-to place for pizza. The toppings are amazing and generously loaded. The crust feels very fresh and full of flavor. We have ordered several types of pizzas and have always been delighted. The place seems like a small family owned restaurant, and everyone seems to be committed to getting it right every time. That is another reason why I will return for more.

Ordered a large pie for pickup while I was at the brewery across the street…not only was it a good price and came out quickly, but it was also just delicious pizza! Great tasting sauce and satisfying crust. Will definitely order from here again!

Really amazing joint. Fries, nice sandwich, pizza and drinks for only $20! Really great slice at a really great price. Had a very filling personal slice pizza with sausage and red peppers and was delicious. Cannot recommend enough! Worth the drive.

Our go to pizza place. Never disappointed with any orders. It is my son’s favorite pizza as soon as he comes home from college he stops and gets a pie. Pizza in PA does not compare.

Exactly what I was craving. Thin & crispy pizza served by good people. This place would make Dave Portnoy happy.

My family and I absolutely love this place! The family atmosphere, the food, and everything about it is just wonderful! Definitely try the grandma pie and the drunken grandma pie! Although you can't go wrong with any other sandwiches either!

So this is an addendum to my original review from our first experience with Johnnys. Ever since the first delivery it has now become our exclusive go to for take out/delivery. We have ordered one pie but have also ordered 5 pies and many other menu items in one order for family parties and the quantity of items and a busy Friday or Saturday night does not change the results. From pizza to apps, wraps, salads, pasta and hot sandwiches literally every thing we have had from there has been absolutely delicious. The pizza always has a thin crispy crust which lets the toppings be the center of attention instead of a bunch of dough. They are consistent with the quality and taste and the customer service couldn’t be nicer! They also accommodate some of my interesting remix requests of menu items. Tonight we had a special request baked ziti pie with vodka sauce and it was fantastic. We also love the chicken parm pizza with vodka sauce just to name a few. Johnnys food has become part of the family. Thank you!

This was our First time getting food from Johnny’s. We order Italian at least once a month for poker night and once a week usually for Friday dinner. They had great prices and friendly customer service over the phone when I placed the order. Everything was delicious, still hot when delivered and the order was correct. Great experience all around! Such a great pizzeria! The people there are incredibly kind. The environment is pleasant and is kept clean. The food is made quick and always tastes incredible and fresh. The pizza itself is one of my favorites as it is a nice thin crispy slice with lots of flavor. Do yourself a favor and get some food here!

I love this place.....the pizza is the best in the area hands down and the folks who work there are super nice. It's such a pleasure coming back to this shop after being away for years....same great old fashioned food and great people!

Johnny’s is a hometown Whippany spot.

Really nice people and there pizza is very good. It’s also convenient for being across the street from the new brewery. I like the thin Sicilian pie.

Best chicken parm sub around no questions, pizza is better than anything within 5 mi. Johnnies is the way to go. Excellent service too

Don’t like hearing complaints because a business charges you a fee to use a credit card. I wish every restaurant (especially cheap joints like pizza and burgers) charged customers for using credit cards. If you want to pay the banks for nothing then YOU pay the banks. I’d rather have lower menu prices and pay cash. If you were smart, you’d agitate against the BANKS! It’s the banks who are bilking all of us — the restaurants and the customers.
So stop being dumb and charging everything — even pizza! You’re a patsy if you do that. Carry more cash. Stop driving up the price of everything and letting the banks get away with highway robbery.

A solid pizza joint in North New Jersey. I find their prices better than nearby competitors.

The pizza is high-quality and above-average in an area that has many good pizza joints.

Worth a visit if you are nearby.

Floridian here so my pizza input isn't the highest of standards but this pizza is amazing. Perfect dough to ingredient ratio. The sauce is very good. With crispy ends. The wings are also extremely crispy. Delivery was also on time if not early. Will order anytime in area!
