New China Express Restaurant

I have been a loyal customer of New China Express Restaurant for over 15 years and I have to say, it is my go-to restaurant for delicious Chinese food. I cannot believe I have not written a review for them sooner, but better late than never!

The first thing that always stands out to me about New China Express is the powerful taste of their food. Every dish is bursting with flavor and leaves me wanting more. From their savory stir-fries to their mouth-watering noodle dishes, every bite is a delight. I especially love their General Tso's chicken, it's the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

One thing I do wish for is that the restaurant had a better online presence. Despite being a regular, I always seem to forget their phone number when I want to place an order. It would be great if I could easily find their menu and contact information online, as it would make ordering so much more convenient.

The service at New China Express is always top-notch. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is always cooked to perfection. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant, and that is why I keep coming back time and time again.

In terms of the ambiance, the restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a casual lunch or dinner with friends and family. And for those busy nights when I don't feel like cooking, their speedy take-out service is a lifesaver.

I asked for a spicy dish that wasn't too sweet so he altered a dish to meet my request. So good! Sesame chicken was excellent too!

Best Fried Rice Ever!!!
I always order Shrimp Fried Rice & love it!! Of course they have it in chicken & beef. Very delicious food & friendly services. They all they 👋 to me when I enter, very humble place & persons working there. I also enjoy the fluffy sugar donuts they make.

My favorite spot! The folks who run this restaurant are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. I’ve lived in Waukesha now for over 20 years and I love coming here. The food is excellent. The people are very friendly. I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t like food wise and I’ve never had anything but pleasant conversation with the owners and workers the delivery people are wonderful too. I wish I had the money to eat here every day but we come when we can. If anybody leaves the negative review about the food being bad or the people being rude that’s total baloney it’s spam. Don’t hesitate to come here and order food it’s it , you’ll be very happy happy with the portions are huge this restaurant and its owners and workers are one of the things I like about Waukesha the most. I can only rate the service and food as I had my food delivered. VERY timely. I have had lots of good Chinese food from restaurants in New York and Chicago. This fare equaled some of the best. Our delivery person was a really sweet elderly gentleman and he was a delightful person. This will be my regular Chinese place.

I had the Cantonese chicken chow main. There was easily enough for 2 people. It was absolutely delishous. I did carry out.

Fried Rice was very good but the shrimp egg fu young was burnt. It was done within 10 mins. Very fast;) will try something else to see if it was a one off.

They have the best fried rice ever. I always order 2 quarts ( 1 veg &1 chicken) so I’d have left overs. No one in my family it’s ever been disappointed with their order. They are friendly and easy to talk to. I lived way outside the delivery radius but the owner/manager said for just a little more of a charge and a slow night, he would make an exception for me ( pre Covid& outside delivery services) I never did use that but how nice to offer. I’ve been going there for over 3 yrs

There is no better Chinese food to be found. Small business, so the bitter reviews are likely from people that expect a lot more than they should from such a wonderful place with such extremely affordable food. Been ordering for years. Cannot say enough good things about them.

We love their food! It’s seriously a hidden gem in Waukesha. It’s a family run business that I’m always happy to support. My boys pick their food for take-out over any other place!

This place was great! I was concerned at the 3 star rating but our order was delicious. Had beef and brocolli and sweet and sour chicken. Crispy chicken and tender beef. Yum. Also had pork fried rice which was great and not oily or greasy. Will order again!

This place has my favorite General (Tso) Chicken hands down especially for the price (around $11 I think for quart of chicken and pint of rice). A generous amount of chicken I feel and it's more crispy-like than other places which have breading that's soft/soggy imo, and this place also uses bigger pieces than most which I don't know if it's good or bad, but it's how it is fyi. Other rare times I order other things, they have been good.

Love this place! Only Chinese restaurant that gets my Cantonese chow mein PAN FRIED NOODLES RIGHT! I don't want the little plain crispy cheap noodles the other restaurants have. I want these delicious PAN FRIED noodles they serve. The portions are amazing. Food is delicious and sometimes even cooked right as you walk in the door (still just as quick but guarantees freshness imo) the young guy working there tonight was awesome. Friendly, cordial, I hope he goes far in life with a friendly personality like that. (have a safe trip little bro! Great talking to you to pass the short time I was in there while they finished up my food.) Even my girlfriend who doesn't enjoy Chinese food said...mmm smells good...

Food is ALWAYS hot and AWESOME! We get take out from all over and this is by far the yummiest around! (Always do pick up, haven't tried delivery) Any negative reviews u may have seen are clearly from crabby people that had 1 bad expiexperience. I have been here a bunch of times and never had any bad experience.

Literally never have a problem - food is correct and tasty every time, order is ready for pickup quickly, staff is lovely. My family's go-to for Chinese food 😋 ❤

We have been long time customers of New China Express, they are a small family business, which we love, they are always busy and work so hard to make every order from scratch. Our favorite the best Pot Stickers in Wisconsin. We do miss them when they close for vacation as a family, they are worth the wait. Bill and Cindy

I loooooove the general tso's here, my fiancé and I get the fried rice all the time for a quick meal to split and its amazing. She gets all sorts of other entrées and they great too. Im litterally upset that this place has such a low rating. Theyre great!

Always a nice place to go to, the food is always great and it's not too expensive. And you get a lot of food with one order. The one man running it by himself was very kind and patient even though he seemed a little busy.

First time ordering from you and I have to say. .....AWESOME!!!! Friendly people on the phone while placing order, prompt service on delivering and nice, friendly driver. Food was excellent I will be ordering again.

for those saying that is places is the worst im not sure what yall are saying the food is great i don't really see any issue with the place, i saw a women walk in and start complaining after only waiting 5 mins just after she ordered something, that's just being unreasonable. This place is great!
