Oakshades Park

A good summer trail, as it s shaded for about 90% and flat all the way. There are a few cross streets, so be sure to stop and look before crossing the few roadways. Also, if your caught on trail in the evening hours, make sure you have mosquito repellent and garlic on! Trail ends in the Highlands and a few blocks though town puts you at the at the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina. Good for beginners and pros alike...

Fun trail for cycling. Ride to Atlantic Highlands was so nice. About 12 miles to On the Deck to grab lunch. Very shaded. Bumpy in places due to tree roots buckling the trail, but manageable. Well traveled cyclists, runners and walkers. Enjoyable afternoon.

Convenient little parking area for your car if you are going biking or walking. I had been looking for a place like this to park and bike, and this seems to be a good spot. I saw quite a number of people coming either coming back from biking or parking to start their ride. Seems to be a popular and safe spot to park. Haven't explored the whole area yet, but planning to do that soon.

Great place to live. Hiking, running, biking off Henry Hudson trail, which leads to Atlantic Highlands. New Large Community Club located on Lloyd rd. pools, spas, daycare, camp, tennis and so much more. Perfect for commuters, just moments away from GSP North and South. As well as Rt 34, 35, 36. Transportation includes Busing and walking distance to train station. Less than 30mn from Jersey Shore although far enough with a low water table, no worries for flooding.
Amazing school district, large police presents, low to no criminal activity.
All inemmities moments away.
Family friendly area. Can't lose, beautiful area.

A good trail for cycling, the trail can take till highlands, from there you can continue through the bridge to sandy hook.
