Kiltie Drive-In

“Roll”down your window and enjoy this iconic lake country classic drive in, with car waitress service. Picnic tables for sitting outside of your car. If it’s busy, you may get your Custard or food quicker by ordering at the counter as you may have to idle behind another car until a car port spot opens up for service. My personal favorite is the Turtle Sunday with a Root beer float in close 2nd!

This is a long time drive in open from May to mid September. Very popular. Very busy. Best times to go are during the week and weekends are Extremely busy. Tip well. Tip EXTREMELY well. This place is one of the last treasures in this country. Our server, Jenna, is an absolute gem as well as the other young ladies. They work hard as well as the cook staff!

Always enjoy The Kilties food, custard and ambiance 🤗 Birgers, chicken, bbq sandwich, homemade custard for sundaes, gloats and mixers …how can you go wrong! Fun drive in experience during the summer.

Visited for the first time 8/12/23. What a hidden gem. I've probably been by this place a dozen times on Hwy 16 and never knew it was there. My son and I each had burgers and we shared some fries. He had a black cow for dessert and I had a turtle sundae. Everything was excellent. Service was also very good and we will definitely be returning soon.

The place is just as I remembered it as a kid but I have a greater appreciation for it now. Great food and service is pleasurable. ;-)

Classic and hip all at the same time. Food is amazing, ice cream/custard is amazing, service is amazing fast and fun! Kiltie is a must-go. They deliver outstanding food and fun, season after season. Thanks. Will keep visiting forever! Love this place.

Unique place to drive in and eat. You pull in. Park. Look up to choose the dishes. And place the order through helpful team members always available. It’s cash only. Root beer float was great.

Awesome little drive-in. Old school car side service. Great food and ice cream.

Such a nice place. Enjoyed the cherry dole (non dairy). My husband had a turtle sundae and our pup had a pup cup! Yum.

If you haven't been to the Kiltie you haven't lived! This place is a jem. I've been going here since I was a little kid and it hasn't changed one bit. Turtle Sundae is a highly reccomend as well as the onion rings. If you go on a Friday or Saturday in the summer it will be packed but they are fast to the wait won't be bad. This is a must for your summer bucket list.

Great old school drive in. Been an Oconomowoc area a staple for summer eating. Has a few outside tables. Food always good. Custard is the best.

Good service, often busy but a fun experience, and great summer tradition. The sundaes are a big, in a good way, just be warned!

They were jam packed but still the service was amazing. Brats are fantastic as are the onion rings. Definitely recommend.

I stop here every time I'm in the area. Prices are extremely reasonable and the food is honestly really good. Big fan of the cheese curds!! Of course the ice cream is the star of the show. Car hops are always super friendly.

Burger was good the fries awesome with a large amount and she strawberry malts was awesome nice pieces of strawberry that couldn't make it thru the straw. Service was great enjoyed not having to get out of the car and got to watch the birds playing. Always a pleasure. Just remember to take cash.

The kiltie is great. It has gotten more and more popular recently. So go early. Classic drive in. Food is great. Get the ice cream, just trust me!

Absolutely perfect as always.. the sandwich was amazing and the twist cone, the best anywhere. The food and service, second to to none.

I love this place! What a neat place to spend the evening and have some ice cream. Great atmosphere. Service is fast and friendly. I recommend the ice cream, always enjoyed a twist when I was younger! The pecans on the turtle aren't salty enough for me though. Dinner food is pretty good too.
