Today for dinner we did the family meal! Worth every penny! Delicious food and quick /painless pick up. Have enough for lunch tomorrow for everyone!

Always a dining pleasure to eat here, and we regularly visit, both family and friends. Jonas (chef and owner) is awesome.

I ordered catering for a party at my house. It was delicious!!!!

We had pulled pork, brisket, sausage and peppers, grilled veggies, chicken skewers, eggplant rollatini and it was all amazing!!! Thank you so much for the amazing food, it made it so I could enjoy the party and not be working/cooking the whole time.

Oh and Jonas was great to work with during the ordering and pickup, thanks again from a very happy customer!!!

Stumbled upon this restaurant before visiting the Skunktown distillery. The summer menu just came on and everything was fantastic. The Chef would check in and gave us tips on what made his eggplant the best we ever had. Everything we saw out of the kitchen looked great and everything we ordered tasted as good as it looked. We will have to make a trip back to try the rest of the menu

Had the best steak I've had in n years at this place. And I'm a steak eater... once or twice a week.
Wish they served dessert though.. Could have used a little sugar and a little coffee before the end of the night. Went there for dinner with an old buddy, and we could have chatted longer over sugar and coffee.
When I got the check and realized they don't do dessert, I wished they did, I could have used it :-)

Great atmosphere (turn the lights down a bit. Some of us come in a bit tired from the day ;-) ), great food, good service, and as you leave, you can't wait till you're back for another meal...

Excellent food! Our favorite place! This is the most consistent restaurant ever. Chef is top notch. Restaurant has a lovely warm environment. Takeout and catering it tops and fantastic value. This is fine cuisine and I highly recommend.

Best eggplant rollatini I have had since my grandmother passed! I have ordered multiple times and always, delicious. They do a great tray catered for parties as well.

Good food and warm atmosphere. We were told about the chili that was the special of the day. I decided on the Jersey burger. Much to my surprise our host brought out a complimentary little bowl of chili for us to try anyway. It was delicious and needless to say we brought a bowl home for later. How things should be done...

I took my wife for lunch on a Monday afternoon and we could not have been happier. The service was excellent, food was fantastic and fresh and to top it all off only cost $55. We both got an app, main course and desert. The BYOB definitely makes you save a penny or two. Don’t judge I know it was a Monday afternoon but it was her birthday. Will 100% be going back. The only disappointing thing was I left my leftovers on the table...

We started with the delicious pot stickers which honestly was filling as well as tasty. The delicate vegetables in a sweet nutty coconut sauce were paired well with sautéed home made cloud like pot stickers. I had the scallops over a bed of perfectly steamed vegetables. The scallops were seared to perfection and the dish was topped with a sweet and sour balsamic reduction. The dish really worked. My husband had the angus burger. We haven’t been to a sit in restaurant since last year...(thanks to covid)...he was so happy to have a burger. He regaled Jonas with accolades including this having been the best burger he ever had. Probably true. He didn’t leave a crumb. Even the coffee was amazing. Jonas is such an cordial host and chef. You know he cooks with love. We’ll be back especially since we are completely immunized.

Dinners or Lunch from 55 Main are the high points of my week! I am especially grateful for their new " Grab and Go " menu of wonderful, freshly prepared meals for pick up. I just love this place, and the chef-owner Jonas as well as the staff are always great!

Every part of the experience was wonderful. From the ease of the few phone calls back and forth, up to the prompt and courteous service, to the delicious food. Anything that was not consumed that day, left with guests. No one wanted to leave without taking some delicious food home with them.

The home made, lovingly prepared Smoked Brisket was out of this world. The chef was reachable and cared about you. He came to every table and was a true gem. His staff was prompt and courteous. A wonderful lunch.

I’ve never had a bad meal at 55 main. The food is on the high end yet down to earth. I get the beef tenderloin with the potatoes au gratin every time I go bc it’s just so good. The staff is friendly and professional too. Bring a good bottle of wine (It’s BYOB ), you will not be disappointed.

We went for Restaurant Week. The food, service, presentation and atmosphere were all perfect. All the food was prepared fresh and served hot. Our appetizers looked like works of art and tastes even better. Wonderful dining experience!

Wow. Hard to find a great restaurant like this anymore. Everything made from scratch, on premises and fresh! I'm no critic but I know great food when I taste it. Everyone at our table loved LOVED their meals and the menu had such great variety.

We had the Wasabi Tuna, Pan Seared Duck, Scallops and a Steak. Every dish was better than the next. Delicate flavors you could actually taste instead of a big heaping pile of mish mosh that's covered in some heavy sauce so you don't notice it's blah. And the portions were very generous. Big but not too big that you waddled out of there.

The chef came out and met everyone and couldn't have been nicer. And since it's a BYOB place, you can have an amazing dinner with appetizer, entrees and desert, tax and tip for less than $100. Try doing that anywhere these days.

We've already made our next reservation for 3 weeks from now it was that good. We went on a Thursday which is a bit quieter and easier to get a table. Forget about weekends as the place is packed so plan ahead but by all means go!

Korean BBQ skewers melt in your mouth. Had shrimp Greek salad. It was good as expected. Key lime pie included fresh berries which was nice. Ready for a nap now.

I had this place recommended to me as a great place for lunch and boy was it! I believe I'm at the owner and he was a very nice gentleman and I would absolutely return here again. Oh and the food was fantastic!

What an amazing restaurant! Took my mother there for her birthday last night. The food was delicious, the staff were attententive and very friendly. There was so much food that we all took home leftovers. We'll be back!
