Sandwich Theory

Sandwich Theory did an amazing job providing lunch on 3 days for our crew. Every order was perfect & we had many substitutions, especially to accommodate food allergies. The orders always arrived on time & each sandwich/salad was individually wrapped & labeled with the person's names. I would highly recommend using Sandwich Theory, because the service was excellent & the food was always delicious!

Chicken Quesedilla. I have been here a few times before so I know what I like and I dove right in, as usual, and decided late on taking a pic so excuse the bite. I also LOVE their lemon bars. Mmmmm. They are a small cafe that is great for take out in this environment. Food is nice and fresh.

I have only visited Sandwich Theory once but the sandwich I had was excellent. I ordered the grilled chicken panini. The wait for my food was not long, probably 10 minutes. The chicken was juicy without being undercooked, and the mozzarella was think as were the red pepper slices. The pesto was very good, not too salty and not blad either. The portion size was generous.

I had a Joe Tea for my beverage. Love their iced tea!

The restaurant staff was nice, no complaints.

The only ding against this place is the price of the sandwich. It was $9 at the time of this review which is a bit excessive for what it was but I know it includes the "Montclair Mark-up".

I would definitely eat here again.

I love this place. They make sandwiches that are healthy as well as delicious. Some of my favorites are number 1 sandwiches which is turkey sandwich and I also enjoy their daily special salmon sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich which usual rotates with different added ingredients..which could include roasted red peppers, avocado, Spanish,pesto, etc.

I love this place! It's my first time here and I stopped in after reading a sign on their door claiming they had turkey chilli; they did indeed and it was amazing! Besides that, I only got a cup of coffee (vanilla; also quite great) but the service is wonderful and ambience welcoming (I particularly liked the choice of music). The rest of the food looks appetizing and I can't wait to eat here again!

One of my favorite lunch stops! The wraps are some of the best I've had and they have alot of options and specials that keep things original. Additionally, their sides and salads are made in-house (as far as I know) and are equally as delicious. Place gets busy at lunchtime so sometimes you need to get lucky to get seating, but if you're doing take out you'll be in and out fairly quickly, keeping in mind that orders are made to order!

Figured it was time to write a review since I've been a dedicated customer for over a year now, lol. I love love love LOVE the food offered by Sandwich Theory! Everything is always fresh and the variety of food they offer is great. My faves are their Blackened Chicken Salad and their Chicken Noodle Soup. Their oatmeal and salads are also amazing. The staff is super friendly and will help you out with any questions you have. I love that you can eat in as well and the environment is really great for a quick lunch or lunch date. My only complaints are the following and they aren't really complaints: they get VERY busy during your traditional 12 noon lunch hour so you can expect a small 10-15 min wait (which isn't bad honestly - they move fast) and they don't deliver for any order under $15 but that seems to be the trend in Montclair. Overall they have great food and great service which makes this one of the few places where prices feel fair. This is definitely a place to try when you're in the area.

First visit and I will definitely be back. It was a bit crowded but because it was lunch time. The wait was less than 10 minutes. There were cookies samples while we waited. The staff is super friendly and the daily specials menu is awesome.

Nice, bohemian vibe. Feels like a Williamsburg Brooklyn Cafe. Now about the food, fresh, well crafted sandwiches. The food tastes likes someone sourced everything well and thought about the flavors. Fresh baked goods and salads, cool drinks. Many organic ingredients. You can taste the difference.

The food is so delicious. My favorite is the grilled chicken panini and it has the freshest ingredients and juiciest chicken. The price is super affordable to. I'm afraid I'll be there way too often!

Oatmeal for breakfast and #1 Turkey Sandwich from the menu on the wall for lunch. I believe I've had at least 400 good meals there. And you won't find friendlier people.

Wow! I just had the best sandwich ever. Staff is pleasant and efficient and prices very reasonable. Highly recommended!

The avocado toast is delicious. Lots of healthy menu items. Quaint cafe style with a few outdoor seating options.

My favorite stop for the breakfast and lunch. Everything is organic. The best coffee in Montclair. Quality is great!
