Kyoto Sushi III

The best Asian restaurant in Cedar Grove DT! Our family love it, the food there, quality stays high level; the service there, staffs are always welcoming and friendly l, treat us like a family; the location there, plenty parking lots. It never disappoints us, highly recommend!

I took my very good friend Gary to Kyoto’s to celebrate his birthday. We both had the Sushi Deluxe which was exquisite! Nancy was our server. Her service was excellent. The owner came over to wish Gary a happy birthday and they even made us fried Oreo’s for a delicious birthday desert. It was a wonderful time. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend going to Kyoto’s.

Kyoto has the best sushi! I am always happy with my order. They are very accommodating to my gluten sensitivity, which I really appreciate.

kyoto has been my favorite sushi place for years. the staff are so friendly & the food is amazing. make sure you order in advance on weekends because they can get super busy!! but it just shows how much people love them.

Outstanding little sushi place located in the small town of Cedar Grove NJ. Loved the sashimi platter and the Unagi (eel). I only have two things to say to the warm and friendly people at Kyoto Sushi: Arigato Gozaimasu!

Food is great, service is good. They can get really busy on Fridays and Saturdays - go on the earlier side of dinner or make reservations.

Very nice sushi restaurant with friendly, efficient service. Had a roast duck roll, which I haven’t seen before, and my standard eel roll for dessert. The fish was fresh and the roast duck was excellent! Will definitely return if I find myself in the area again.

Went to visit Kyoto3 on a whim and it was AMAZING sushi. Not only did they give generous portions of fish, but the sushi was well presented and was well balanced. I really enjoyed how they did not use too much rice and really filled our roll more with fish. We were recommended the green jade roll and it was such a surprising taste that I've never had!! Service was great, and they were very kind to us.

We’re very into sushi in our house and I cannot believe we haven’t tried this place until recently. Today was my third time ordering from Kyoto and it has been consistently delicious each time. Their salmon sushi pieces are the best among any place we order from. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Highly recommend!

Only had a little bit of time to grab food during work. Coworker and I felt ambitious and decided to go for sushi. Kyoto sushi got our food fast and were very friendly. To top it off they had a great soundtrack playing in the background. Good food, staff, and environment.

My boyfriend and I are becoming increasingly more picky when it comes to sushi places and sushi quality. For lack of anything else, we decided to try this place last night. At first, I was skeptical because it looked tiny and there were only two other people in there (it was also a weeknight). But the second I walked in the door I changed my mind. The place was very warm and welcoming and the employees were very friendly. The Miso soup was DELICIOUS. All five rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and a few were very unique and the sushi tasted very fresh. I wish we took pictures because they were so pretty! We will definitely be going here again, as there is only one other sushi place in NJ that we currently like. Very impressed! Make sure you try this place!!

Just moved to town and wanted to try sushi. Some other sushi restaurants around here were pretty bad but these guys are great ! The sweet potato tempura rolls have a nice crunch to them, they make sure to provide a good amount of fish and not too much rice in the rolls. Their lunch specials are really cheap. Best sushi around

Amazing Sushi, always fresh and speedy service. I drive 25 min just to have their sushi. I highly recommend them!

We’re particular about sushi in our house and will only eat at a select few places, so we can ensure we’re eating only quality raw meats. Kyoto is our first and only choice. After being closed due to the pandemic, Kyoto is back in a big way. The sushi was seriously outstanding. Each of my rolls was better than the next and the clear soup was sooooo good! On top of the food being fantastic, they’ve constructed a structure at their front door for actual contactless pickup. Kudos!

Enjoyed their Bento box, its good and inexpensive. But miss that they no longer include a piece or 2 of tempura.
