Dressed In Time

My experience with Dress in Time was an experience that is hard to put into words! They helped me find the perfect yellow dress for my big day and altered it to fit my beach wedding. I told them my vision, and they were patient and kind. The owner helped me with my veil by personally going out to find material that would match. When she couldn't find a suitable fabric, she placed a special order without an extra charge to me. They even made me a custom garter (on the spot) to match my wedding theme.

Through my frustrations with learning I may not have a beach wedding (after the dresses were already altered for me to wear no shoes), the staff calmed me and ensured they could adjust my dress again. However, everything worked, and I had the beach wedding of my dreams. I can go on and on about Dressed In Time. My dress was beautiful, and the experience from the moment I first walked into the store was like an experience in the movies!!! After unexpectedly losing my brother a few months ago, this experience was something I needed. Their generosity let me know there are still genuine people in the world. I will recommend them any day!

I had to do another rating to talk about my dress. It was so beautiful and unique for my beach wedding! They didn't have my size, so we had to order it. The dress came back in less than a week. My alterations were done in less than two weeks. The amazing Seamstress specially made my veil and garter. Everything was perfect! I will shop with them first anytime I need a dress for a special event!

We live a half hour away, but it’s a week before homecoming and the dress my daughter ordered online did not work. So after scouring southern milwaukee County, we eventually ended up at Von Mauer, which was also completely picked over, so I literally googled “homecoming dress” from their parking lot and found Dressed in Time. How lucky we did. Tons of gorgeous dresses. I knew when we walked in this was finally the right place. This is now our for-sure first (and probably only) stop here on out!

I went here for MOB dress with my mom. The lady who helped us was so kind and easy to work with. Not over bearing but checked in on us to make sure we were doing okay. They have a wide variety of dresses. My mom found the perfect dress and she’s so excited to wear it at my wedding!

I have personally bought 3 dresses here, my sister has bought 3, and I have referred many people here, all of whom have had fantastic experiences. Dressed in Time carries a wide variety of designs in many sizes, which as a plus-size woman I really appreciate. They take great care of their dresses and are very accommodating, and after many negative experiences at other shops, I wouldn't even consider looking anywhere else. Overall a great place to go for prom, homecoming, and formals.

I truly loved the experience I got while at this store. My best friend and I were out on a Friday night looking for our prom dresses, and we came across this wonderful shop. When we got there, we noticed that we got there a little after it closed, but the woman who owns the shop was lovely enough to open the store just for us to look at dresses. I told the worker what I was looking for in a dress- and she found dresses that exactly matched my needs. I even found my dress! It was a beautiful red gown from Mori Lee, and it was a little over my originally set budget, but it was definitely worth the price. The selection of dresses here are awesome, there are big brands (like- Jovani, Mori Lee, and Sherri Hill) for way less then they would be online.

I kind of stumbled on this place after searching for a dress for a black tie event. I have always struggle finding somewhere that sells formal and cocktail dresses, that has a good selection. Hate shopping online for them so when I found this place I was thrilled. The store owner was super helpful in finding what I was looking for. Everything from the style I wanted, size color etc. She helped me narrow it down to a few choices and within 20 mins I had a dress I loved. The store is organized differently than most but for good reason. Everything is in its own protective plastic dress bag to be sure they stay in good condition. They are organized by size then color, which personally I love! So much easier to find a dress that worked for me. All the dresses are long so they need to be altered and they have a great seamstress in the store that does all the alterations. I started looking for a dress on a Thursday, got it fitted and pinned on Saturday and got a call Sunday that it was done. Super fast turn around and super helpful staff. Love the selection.

Such an amazing experience!!. Both of my daughters were able to find their HOCO dresses here. They were so patient while they tried on tons of dresses until they felt like they had found the perfect dress. One dress needed to be altered and they were able to accommodate in a short time frame. Everyone was so nice and helpful and we will definitely be back for PROM season. Thanks again to all the staff and owners at Dressed In Time!

Highly recommend, we had the best experience!
They had such a large variety of beautiful dresses in so many different styles and sizes, it was well organized and easy to look through the dresses and try them on. My daughter and I were shopping a little last-minute for prom and she found the perfect dress here!
They also do alterations which is very helpful and scheduled us in a timely manner. The owner was so helpful and wonderful!

Great little shop that helped my daughter get dressed in time for prom! 2 wks before prom and we could not find a dress and it is so hard to buy something online and not know how it will fit and look in real life. Dressed in Time has so many dress selections in all different sizes. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Also, you don't need reservations and it is pretty much self service but we prefer it that way. Definitely will be back again!

Dressed in time is an AMAZING place!! I have gotten all of my prom and homecoming dresses from here, and each and every time has been a fantastic experience!! Their in house seamstress is a miracle worker and was able to make all of my dresses fit like a glove!! All of the workers are incredibly helpful and always have a smile on their face :)

It’s so hard to find a wide selection of unique prom dresses but Dressed in Time delivers!!! The staff is amazing and really went above and beyond for us. My daughter is so excited to wear her dress this coming Saturday. The owner is very much involved and helped us every step of the way, from pointing out the dress’s unique sparkle feature to making sure the alterations would be done on time with such short notice. I can’t say enough good things about the customer service experience we had here.

The staff was so personable and so attentive to my daughter’s wishes (Sue was incredible!) as she tried on several dresses for her upcoming prom.

We didn’t know where to start, but the staff helped us to feel comfortable and guided us through the process. They paid attention to every detail and request that my daughter made

A wonderful experience from the moment we walked in. In a pinch to find a dress for Junior Girls. Owner was helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable! We found the perfect dress and the seamstress went to work on it right away. She did a terrific job with the alterations! We were from out of town and so the owner mailed the dress as soon as it was ready and called to let me know it was on the way. So impressed. Thank you for such a great dress shopping experience!!!
