Big sand beach, nice calm lake for swimming, fishing pier which appears to be accessible, and a short trail for enjoying the natural sights and sounds. This seems to be a favorite among day visitors. Campsites are big and well-kept. The campground is close to Eagle, so necessities (and curiosities, restaurants, bars and crafts) are available. If you want to be sure your phone will work while you're here, we had a strong cell signal the whole time. We're return visitors, and we'll keep returning.

Very friendly staff and a very nice campground. Big wooded sites with several bath houses throughout the park. No water or sewer at the sites but the size and quietness makes up for all of that!

Absolutely beautiful place, one of my favorites to take out a small non motorized boat to troll around and fish and just relax. There is a sandy beach to swim, a dock to fish from, plenty of bathrooms and family seating for picnics and grilling.

As always our camping experience as great. The ranger that got us registered was very friendly and helpful. Our campsite was freshly mowed so we had minimal amount of mosquitoes hanging around. The fire ring had a sturdy flip grate for cooking and firewood kept us warm from the night air. We enjoyed watching the families of geese from the beach... grass area around the beach did have alot of goose poop so we wore our shoes down to the waters edge.

I absolutely love Ottowa Lake Campgrounds. It is always clean, beautiful and quiet, with huge space between each campsite. There are multiple water stations with separate spouts to fill water jugs. Most people fill their campers when they first pull in, but I'm sure it comes in handy for all the tent campers. I believe the tent campers have options to set up in more of the woodsy locations farther of the beaten path. Plenty of clean bathrooms all around the grounds, so the bathrooms are never busy. It's very rare you need to share the bathroom with anyone unless you are using the bathrooms in the center of this little camping neighborhood, that has the showers and I believe a washer and dryer. The beach is clean and seems to get dragged every night. And there is an abundance of really nice hiking trails within driving distance. One of my favorites is right across the road and we just walk there. This is such a great place.

WQe really liked our 2 night stay at the Ottawa Lake Campground. Every site is very private and quiet, nice walking and bike paths, a lake you can swim or fish.

This is a great place with fairly secluded sites most with some shade. Facilities are par but functional. Great beach, bike/hiking trails lots to do. The issue has
been with pet owners who believe they can just let their dogs bark, Yap, whine or all of the above. I understand some pets are part of the family and you want them with you but if so, then take care of them like your family. Would you truly leave your child outside crying for two hours? I don't know maybe some would? I will tolerate pets that are well trained with respectful owners but there are some who just don't get it. We come here for peace and quiet not to hear a dog barking at all hours...come on people wake up and realize it is irresponsible to neglect your pet and your neighbors.

I've been taking my kids here since 1980. And now my Grandgirls go with us. They love it there. Clean little lake, spring fed. Flotation devices allowed. Beautiful hiking area. You can camp there too. It's just beautiful.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Decent site spacing, level driveways, shower houses okay, pleasant staff. All of the xxxx Spring hikes are excellent.

Very enjoyable weekend! Nicest campground that I've been to this year! All roads are paved and about 90% of the campsites are very private tucked in the woods! Staff is very friendly and willing to help with any needs/issues. Highly recommend!!

Went in late March for a quick day trip out of the city and had a very enjoyable time. It was clean and quiet (although we heard it gets rather busy while in season) and has a lot of room to roam around in. The man made lake is well stocked and very large and while the park isn't covered by many large trees all in all it's a great place to have a quick little outing.

Nice beach for swimming, but super busy on weekends. Label your beach toys with your name if you want to take them home. No lifeguard on duty. Need a state park pass or daily fee (under $10) for car entry into park.

Great place to spend weekend. A little too much crowded. Great fishing and swimming place. Campground is somewhat too close to common beach access and too open. There is plenty of things to do such as nice hiking trails.

I love Ottawa! I could do without the mosquitos, but tis the season. Ha, ha. Trails are nice, beach is awesome - typically one of the cleanest and warmest ones I visit each year. Campsites are mostly spacious and spaced decently away from each other. Dog area is nice - dog beach area and picnic tables in that area too. No complaints. Ottawa is one of my favorite lakes to swim in. I generally come several times each year - to swim and camp.
