What a GEM!!! A all vegan Chinese spot for dine in/take out! Very chill & quiet vibe. Wonderful staff!

What we got:

- Scallion cakes. Soooo good! You MUST TRY THESE. Doughy, crispy, flavorful with the best sauce

- general tsos chicken. Crispy mock meat with tons of sauce. The sauce had a decent kick to it and the veggies were fresh.

We brought along a meat eater friend and he commented how wonderful it was and could not even tell it was mock meat.

Come here for delicious Chinese food that happens to be fully vegan! Great to eat with a peace of mind!

Im not even vegan and I actually enjoy the food here!

First time visiting their Montclair Branch and i love that there is ample street parking as well as residential parking. The place is nice and clean too with an upper level.

Service was quick and we got our food right away starting with the fried sweet potatoes. It was nice and crispy and was a good to share. The sauce was just okay.

Before, at their Denville branch, i tried their Beef curry and actually enjoyed it. Here I ordered the Ting Ting Two flavor and finished the whole thing myself lol it had “beef” and “chicken” meat that if you dont pay very close attention you probably wont notice its not real meat at all. The sauce was nicely done, very flavorful, and worked well when paired with rice.

The coconut cake and cheesecake we had for dessert was also very good! I didnt expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Another enjoyable visit yet again at Veggie Heaven!

We came last night, five of us, and had a great time. This place is really worth a try and is so fun to try with friends. We almost got the whole menu!!!

This is our new favorite place . Food , staff and ambiance all are amazing . Owner and staff are very friendly and accommodates any kind of food customization requests and Service is really fast.highly recommended!!

This eatery is very good, the food. The service and overall quiet area with the atmosphere comfortable. The food was excellent, and I don't usually eat vegan, but this has made me a believer. The menu reads like any other Oriental/Asian place, but there's no meat to be found. I've never wanted to try tofu, but this has changed my thoughts completely. Everything was fresh and very tasty. This is the first time my wife and I go to a healthy vegan Chinese restaurant. The menu is full of some great favorite dishes and also new sounding enticing dishes. Would of loved to have tried them all. We ordered the Veggie Heaven Roll, Crispy Jumbo Shrimp & the House Special Fried Rice. They were all delicious, the shrimp had somewhat similar look as the tea thing. Of course the texture was not like the real thing but that’s not what we were looking for. It was very tasty and when we’ll with the rest of the dish. The ambience was nice and quiet, service was very attentive and you can’t go wrong with the prices. Will be returning again to try as many dishes that we can consume in one sitting.

Food is pretty good and the smoothies were great. My one recommendation is to have vegetarian substitute options that aren’t soy. The waiter should be more willing to explain the dishes since this is new to many people.

Very good as a vegan food. We enjoyed all of our choices. The dishes chosen were fresh, well-made, and tasty, but they did not have the full favor of traditionally prepared Chinese food. They are excellent for vegan foods, and I will return for certain when I want a healthy, flavorful food. "Try it, you'll like it!"

Great vegetarian place in Montclair. Food is extremely delicious and flavorfull. Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean and restrooms are clean too. Place can be crowded on weekends. Luckily someone left and we got a table on Sat night, but there were people in line. It's BYOB!!!

App- we ordered yam fries.. They are crispy and sweet.

Mains- Sushi, veggie lo mein, Singapore noodles, schedwan tofu, and garlic chicken with rice.
All dishes had amazing flavor and sauce was tasty.

Dessert - Coconut cake and cheese cake.. Cheese cake is overly sweet. Coconut was very nice.

Overall a very good place in Montclair for Vegetarian Cuisine!! Highly recommend this!!

It's so good that even my meat loving partner was impressed. It also happens to be one of the more affordable dinner options in Montclair. The staff were kind and attentive, even to our over-hungry and cranky child. I hadn't been since before having a kid and moving back to the suburbs and am so glad it's back in the rotation.

The most delicious place on earth. The menu is so confusing at first because you can’t believe that everything there is actually vegan. This place offers options that vegans have been only dreaming about!!! My whole family loves it here and none of them are vegans, it’s just truly good food no matter your dietary preferences.

The food is so good and 100% vegan. It’s satisfying and I really like the flavor. They have perfected their seitan and the menu is huge. I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I am open minded about most food. I would definitely give this place a try if you’ve been curious about vegan meals. The prices are fair and they are very organized with their takeout. Would recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant by far. Everything I have tried here is delicious. Highly professional service. I recommend the Bang Bang “Chicken” and “Beef” or the Sizzling “Beef” with Black Pepper Sauce. (I always ask for extra spicy!). Extensive menu- more options than I have seen in any other vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Even your meat eating friends will find something they love! A must try.

Wow what an amazing experience Staff were amazing super polite make me feel very comfortable everything was delicious 🤤 been to many restaurants in Montclair this one definitely one of my favorites now. 👌🥰 I order miso Soup 9/10, Veggie fried dumpling 7/10, Ice tea pineapple 10/10, chicken w broccoli w white rice 🍚 9/10 super Delsih !!! There food is not basic at all. 💗

I’m so happy there is a place like veggie heaven in New Jersey! Genuine Chinese menu items, plus several Americanized options for everyone. The ambiance and decor is also fantastic. A must try for anyone vegan or vegetarian and I don’t think your meat eating friends will be disappointed either.

Very friendly service, clean atmosphere, with a large variety of yummy food. We had a difficult time deciding what to eat because the menu was so large! Everything came out quickly and was delicious. Definitely recommend!

All the food options are vegan/vegetarian. I ordered the General Tso's chicken (vegan) option. It was very flavorful with a great sauce with broccoli, mushrooms, and a side order of white rice. I also ordered the passion fruit bubble tea it was god. However the boba didn't have a really good consistency I personally like it to be a little chewy. If you are going to order an appetizer I suggest the spring rolls.

Excellent food in the true Buddhist tradition where no animals need be harmed for their beautifully presented and deliciously created conscious culinary masterpieces. The very best of such dining in New Jersey. Their sister restaurants are good, but the food here is even better and the service especially superior. The staff are extremely attentive to their customers, even those with special dietary and other needs. They are the top of customer service and professionalism.

Food is so healthy and tasty. It’s reasonably priced. Staff is very kind. Would recommend going again!
