The Hideaway Bar & Grill

We've ordered take-out from here more times than I can count, and the food was always great. We decided to go out on a Friday night and eat there with a friend. The food was even better in person! Dare I say, even better than if I were at a restaurant. It was a Friday night, so the bar was pretty busy. The guy that took our order was also running the bar. And I have to say, for someone who was running around all night doing 12 tasks at the same time, he was so awesome! Always had a smile on his face and never forgot we were there. This definitely isn't a family-style atmosphere, it's a bar/restaurant. With that said, our 9 month old didn't mind, nor did we. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. There was even another toddler there too! I was iffy on eating here since I heard stories of the old Hideaway, but things have definitely changed for the better and we will 100% continue going here. Don't tell our friends at Foolery's, but I think the food here is better. Hideaway is probably our favorite place for food in Okauchee.

We come here every once in a while. We have always had great food! The last time we were here it was an unexpected nice day- so there was a lot of people on the patio. For just one waitress she did amazing- we had to wait a little but we were surprised how quick she was to wait on all the tables!! It has a small town local vibe which we enjoy!

The pickle boats are my FAVORITE! We also tried the bang bang shrimp, which was yummy. Our waitress followed up with us frequently, and Mike, the bartender, was amazing.

An excellent place to meet new people, hang out and relax. The new bar is a huge upgrade from the old small bar. Inside is clean, food is tasty, and the bathrooms are bigger and better than ever. Recommend for anyone in the lake country area to stop by for a drink, and come back for the food and company.

Great place to drink and dine. My server Luke was very attentive and made me feel very welcome. Amazing food and quick service for a Saturday morning. 10/10 will be coming again :)

Docked the boat at their puer, had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich. We sat at the bar, it's very cozy, great vibe. The bartender was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great location to hang out when you're on the lake. Will definitely be back

We hosted a retirement party at Hideaway Bar and Grill and it was wonderful! Alexis was incredible to work with throughout planning, and the staff was very attentive to our group the day of. We heard nothing but great things about the food and staff from our party!

Potter here is absolutely AMAZING!! He was the only bartender here on a busy Saturday night. There was 5 of us who ordered food and drinks. Not only did everything get to us super fast, our drinks were great! Working in retail I completely understand how overwhelming it can be. He kept his composure and was so kind to all of us, even bought us a round of drinks. Thank you so much. We will be back!!

This place is way better than it was a few years ago. The staff is fast, the atmosphere is great. The food is way better too. I had the steak risotto and it was awesome! Honestly, best Cesar salad - caked in dressing just how I like it.

Love The Hideaway! We have visited here for both breakfast and dinner and both were great. Their drink menu has a lot of options too.

The workers there are super nice and sociable as are the regulars! All the bartenders are very knowledgeable and it is my friend's fav spot. Def going again soon!

Fantastic food at this fun little hideaway -literally - which offers an outdoor patio with nice views of Okauchee Lake. The tacos are always a winner, as is their Chicken Tortilla Soup when it's available. Tried several other menu items, all good. No photos available, as we scarfed everything down right away.

Stopped in with my wife for a few cocktails and had a great time. Bartender was so friendly along a few great locals. Didn't order dinner but the food coming out if the kitchen looked fabulous!

Great place tucked away on the water with excellent food and great prices! Waitress was very attentive and never had our glasses empty or running low! Very friendly staff and a clean cozy establishment. This was our first time here, we just moved to the are and we cant wait to visit again. Try their mac and cheese and foot long grilled cheese with tomato soup! YUM!
