Great friendly staff who enlightened us to their daily specials and recommend the best appetizers to start with. Drinks are some of the best and live up to the expectations of a great cocktail bar.

Turns out the best restaurant in Montclair is actually in Verona! Everything AKB does — from cocktails to small plates to entree sides — is done to perfection, blending perfectly together. I can’t recommend their bronzino enough; the beans and broccoli pair brilliantly with the perfectly grilled, light fish. Make this your next destination for a special occasion!

Where do I start. Food was WOW. I may live in Soho but this is definitely now going to be my go to place. The staff was great. We were there to celebrate my son's birthday and it truly was a successful celebration.

Unbelievable menu choices and delicious cocktails. I had a great time here with my sister while outdoor dining. The waitress was very attentive and the food was excellent.

This restaurant was amazing! We've been wanting to come here for years and couldn't have been more pleased with our meal from start to finish. Everything was amazing from drinks, appetizers, dinners and dessert. The pork chop and chicken was the most tender we've ever had. The service was amazing too. They didn't rush us for any courses and we had a amazing chat with out server. The space itself is very large with all different kinds of seating areas. We would love to come back soon!

I tried outdoor dining for fall and it was amazing. They lit the portable fire pits as soon as it got chilly and I finally understand the appeal.

Back to the food. So I had the bacon wrapped dates, the veal with hand made pasta, my drink was a painkiller and the dessert was the molten, melt in your mouth, chocolate cake, with the Gelato. It was my first visit and I want to go back every week. The staff was wonderful, I felt very safe, and social distancing was very much respected. Finally, I don't remember her name but the way she described the food, took the time to talk to us, and checked in to ensure we liked our final choices completely won me over. I highly recommend this place, don't walk, run!

It offers a nice atmosphere and staff were friendly and inviting. The portions were bigger than expected and the food was delicious. They served mini croissants instead of bread while awaiting food to come back. It was easy to make a reservation online as well. Would definitely go back!

Great seasonal menu which changes frequently, expertly crafted cocktails and a nice variety of craft beer. The outside patio is covered and has for pits scattered around to keep fingers warm. The staff is very friendly and everyone I saw was agreeing to social distancing and mask rules. Highly recommend!

A wonderful dining experience. Starters and Apps were delicious. Our entrees were perfect: a burger (not just any burger) to die for, Sunday sauce special ate as good as it looked, and sauteed flounder with sweet corn was wow. Our server, Courtney, was professional, friendly, and well prepared. No one was rushed. Not a restaurant to miss.

I visited here for dinner last night and the fact I am still thinking about how good the Pork Chop and food was drove me to write this review. I really try to hold 5 star ratings special, because there is always room for improvement, but in this case they really earned it. The atmosphere was very nice, good crowd on a Friday evening. The staff was on point an very well versed in the menu, and the execution of the food, particularly the entrees was exceptional.

I certainly would recommend giving it a try.

Great food! My group ordered seconds of many apps because they were so good. The goat cheese stuffed figs wrapped with bacon was a favorite. Decor and atmosphere was very nice. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

We were graced with an amazing experience celebrating our Annual Holiday Friend Christmas outdoors. The food was incredible, the staff so friendly & welcoming, the atmosphere so safe, and even w/a chilly night....we were so warm & cozy w/beautiful fire pits & outdoor heaters. We can’t wait to go back again soon! Weather not a factor in their outdoor experience🎄Drinks & Food, blew all the girls away, polished off plates, around the table!

Outstanding Food and Service! This is the first time I have eaten at this restaurant and I will definitely return. The menu selection had something for everyone and the food was very flavorful. It is obvious from the minute I walked in that this place takes great pride in making sure their guests have an enjoyable experience. The hostess was very friendly, the waiter was very knowledgeable and manager checked on us to make sure everything was great.

This place is amazing! The AKB burger is definitely the way to go and the signature cocktails are A-1. The atmosphere is really cool with good music and vibes. Service was awesome. The staff here is very attentive to its patrons. Definitely going back for more!

Love this place! Small space with big flavors and bold cooking. Mike and Ariane are amazing and do so much in this place. Food is astounding and the drinks are fantastic. Specials are always great and the menu changes with the seasons which is a bonus. I've been here multiple times and me and my wife love it. Have never had a bad meal or experience. It's a must visit and will most likely become a go to restaurant if you come for just one visit.

Wonderful culinary experience. My wife and I don't get out much because of our kids. But I can assure you this restaurant goes beyond expectations. Not only was the food and service great, but all patrons were pleasant as well.

Food was superb...enjoyed meals at her location inMontclair. Sad to see them close. The patio ,although there were noisy diners, still had a wonderful backyard feel . The servers are top notch and unobtrusive. Everyone deserves a chance to move on. Good luck in whatever you choose next.
