Always the best food, friendly servers and great atmosphere!

Nice place to stop in. This is the downtown restaurant. They also have a Cunningham restaurant closer to rt I80. We've been to both, and they each have good food. I like the atmosphere at this one because it's an older building with history. My wife had many carnivores options, and she chose one of their burgers. My plant based option was the Hummus plate with no added oil. It came with carrots, peppers, celery, and pita. It came with drizzled oil, but I was able to drain it off and scrape a layer off the Hummus. I also ordered a plain baked potato. It was plenty of food for me. They have good choices for beer and wine, but we went with coke and iced tea. Either location in Kearney will not let you down. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for a work lunch. Very friendly server and prompt service. Burgers were a solid choice.

I'm pretty sure the chef takes humor in knowing the people who order the spicy chicken quesadilla will be in pain for a while. I watched three grown people do the "hot/spicy" dance when eating them.

Overall, will be back.

Ate here 2 years ago. Best damn pork belly bites I ever had. My wife had to hide them from me when I left to the restroom. And the Juicy Lucy..........O.M.G.
I had cheese stuck all in my mustache and I didn't care. My taste buds were in a coma after this. They were just hit so hard with out of this world flavor. 10 out of 10 for me. Next time I'm in Nebraska beat believe I'm coming back to see my boy Cunningham.

I had an incredible burger. I asked for it medium and it was. 9/10 restaurants the burger would be overcooked.
My buddy had the strip that was great too.

Talk about friendly staff, good food but most of all eat dinner on a Sunday and watch the food service and bar manager for the Organization go over the bar and service areas like he is a Swiss clockmaker. Super impressed with the Cleanliness here.

This is a sports bar but so much more. The food is really good, the outdoor seating right on a small lake, and the wait staff plentiful, fun, and helpful.

Wow! We all enjoyed every bite. A few of us are gluten-free, and they had options for us, too 😀 We were just traveling through and hoping to find a place to eat. The menu and fabulous reviews made our choice easy. We want to come back when out this way again. It's one of the top restaurants ever! 😀

Love this place! Good crowd, friendly fast staff. Decent prices. I like that they have 2 floors with different music going on. Good time for everyone! Great beer garden out back!

This was my hardest 5* to give. We've been here many times, the service is always good and the food is great. I can't come here without enjoying the pork belly bites. My wife got the Juicy Jameson this time and it was raw in the middle. The server was super nice about it and asked if we wanted a new one or to fire this one up more. Pressed on time we just had them fire this one up more. The burger was so raw initially when we got the burger back parts of it were still raw. Not wanting to fuss she ate around the raw parts and we left. The manager came over after the initial raw send back and comped her meal 50%. I say all this on a 5* to say, the food here is amazing. If you order a 3/4 lb. single patty burger it may be raw, do you have any idea how hard it is to cook that? If it is politely let them know and their service is great here. I almost gave the review a 4* but one bad instance can't negate many positives and this place does deserve 5*. With all that said I recommended coming here. If you're not a patient person maybe don't order a juicy burger just incase (even though they're so good) and get the non-stuffed versions, my burger with pork belly was fantastic.

One of Kearney's Best Pubs & Sports Bar. Awesome friendly staff. If they are busy, they have an upper level for seating. Live music from some inceidible local talent. When weather allows the back of the building has a huge outdoor venue. Live music outdoors.

Best pub food menu in the city. Pizza, Burger s etc. Try the Juicy Lucy (My Favorite) & for appitzers make sure you get to sample the 'Journal Bites'!!!!

First off, if you hear a local talking about this place they will probably call it Cunningham on the bricks 🧱. Which could slow you down as you try to look it up. The Bricks refers to an historic part of dow where the streets are paved with bricks.
The entrance here is up a flight of stairs at the front of the building. But there is a long ramp along the side of the building to a back door if you are mobility impaired.
There are both high tables and standard height tables here. The staff were happy to put a couple of the low tables together to accommodate a larger group, we just let them know we had mobility impaired folks in the group. They try to save the short tables for folks who need them.
During lunch it is a seat yourself sort of operation.

Everyone was pleased with everything they ordered. The kitchen was reasonably swift.
I really like they way they do nachos. The nachos were served with a base of like fried pita chips. A nice innovation in the nachos space.
I was also pleased with pizza 🍕 I ordered.

We were really pleased with our server. And while I suspect our server was especially good it also looked like other tables were getting good service too.

Bathroom was bright and well cleaned.

Traveling from SC to Yellowstone and made a stop for lunch! Oh. My. Stars! The food was great, and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling, and wish I was local!

Food was great. We all liked the pork belly bites. The sauce they were covered with was amazing. Service was great as well. No issues.

Definitely will return when in the area again.

Excellent service, cool atmosphere, fantastic food, our first time here, we will be back! I had the “Juicy Jameson” burger, excellent!

What a great dining experience! We came here while traveling with our dog because they had a dog-friendly patio. The patio was actually closed, but Jess, our server, spoke with the manager and he said it was ok to dine on the patio.

Even though we were the only people out there and it's a good distance from the indoor dining area, Jess went above and beyond to take care of us. We never had to wait for anything and she checked on us frequently. The food was great but we really enjoyed getting to meet and chat with Jess, she's a great addition to your staff!!

Serendipitous stop. Loved it. Especially the drunk wedding party in the bar. Livened up the entire place at early afternoon. Server was great. Food was great. Wish we could've stayed longer

My company had a January work Christmas party upstairs where they catered food for us. It was delishious, on-time and filled us to the max. The entertainment space was wonderful! Tina, Jose and our bartender (i'm so sorry I forgot your name) was amazing!! Would definitely do it again!!

Great local restaurant. There are two locations. One is on the lake. One is in the historical "brick" area of town. Same menu at both locations. Good burgers and fries.

Both are cute. The lake location is a sports bar with big screens. The brick location is decorated with historical memorabilia and is my personal favorite location.
