Little known fact about Pig's Eye Lake, back when this part of town was full of pork processing plants, the pigs' eyes were the only part they didn't use in the meat processing so they threw them all into the lake, hence the name Pig's Eye Lake. It is also why any fish caught from this lake have a slight taste and aroma of pork.

It's hard to find better surrounding to fish. Once you get past the big barges it's peaceful and you're surrounded by nature.

It was ok. Kinda stinks like industrial, lots of barges, lots of businesses and not very scenic. Its kinda cool cruising by downtown by boat
