Maxim's Restaurant

Maxims was very accommodating to our large party last minute after my mom's funeral on March 16th. My brother called and made the reservations for 20-30 of us. This was one of mom's favorite restaurants for a big salad and a bowl of chicken dumpling.
The waitress team did a phenomenal job making sure our drinks were refilled timely. Our orders came out timely as well. We had a wide variety of dishes that were ordered, and everyone enjoyed what they had.
Thanks again to the team at Maxims for the great good, great service, and last-minute accommodations as Saturday was a long day for our whole family.

Always love Maxim’s Restaurant. We usually grab breakfast at the bar. Food is great and service is always good here. We stopped by during the church festival in July and Maxims had a Salad Tower as their special—excellent salad and single scoop of chicken salad—big enough to split, not to mention beautiful plating. I hope they make this a menu staple!

My mom and I had some great food. Friendly staff and great food. If you're in the area, I recommend this place. I had a hamburger with bacon, a lemonade, and a water. My mom had a stir fry.

Maxim's is not only an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a friendly staff, but also their bakery items are lucious. I recently ordered a Banana Cream Pie for my husbands birthday and it was the best we ever had! The crust reminded me of a buttery spritz cookie and there was whipped cream and rich, chocolate curls on top of the custardy, banana filling.
Not only was it delicious, but it was actually pretty!
They have a lot of different choices of pies and cakes to choose from and for the few extra dollars the items may cost, the quality and taste make it worth every penny!

Delicious breakfast with a good variety of options! Great service and amount of food for the price. We loved the Eggs Benedict and Greek skillet. If you’ve ever wished there was more hollandaise sauce on your Eggs Benedict, this will be the one for you!

They give you chocolate chip muffins too, which was a nice surprise!

Excellent omelet, large portions and great service. My coffee never went cold, food was delicious and served quickly and piping hot.
Clean dining room and the employees are friendly and efficient!

Absolutely phenomenal food and service! As if the main course wasn't enough, they serve these irresistible deserts!!!! Come hungry and you'll still leave with leftovers because the portions are huge!

Had a great experience for brunch. We had the strawberry bruchetta, veggie skillet, country breakfast, and the pepper jack brat Benedict. We all enjoyed the food. It was hot, fresh, with large portion sized. Great service, coffee and waters were never empty. Would definitely recommend to friends and will be bringing the family back.

Maxims is our go-to restaurant, we've been there 1,000 time (literally)!!! The staff staff is attentive. The bussing crew is on point too. Pablo and Jesús remember your beverage order and ask if you want it besides water. Food is pretty good, menu is pretty big. I wish they brought back the potato skins and cheese curds on the appetizer menu, but I can't complain

Breakfast was great. Eggs for the Irish Scrambler were fluffy and tasty and the Corned Beef Hash was delicious. My wife had the ham and cheese omelet which was very good also. Service was terrific, coffee came right away and was refilled often. Great place for breakfast.

Maxim's was our go to place for breakfast at any hour prior to the pandemic. We returned today for our usual breakfast and the menu has drastically changed. Along with a drastically downsized menu the prices were drastically higher than before. In fact, it doesn't matter what you order from the breakfast menu the prices are $12 or $13. My husband's eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns looked great, and he was very happy. I ventured to try something new. The pictures show you how beautiful my plate was presented. The stuffed french toast was very tasteful as well. The one taste I didn't care for was the cinnamon they incorporated somewhere. I would assume the cinnamon was folded into the eggs. Needless to say, the meal was great. I know how I will tweak my request next time, if there is a next time. Unfortunately, there are now better places with more food and better prices.
Thank you Maxim's for all the great years of food and service, but we will be moving on.

Power out at home due to snow storm, called Maxim's & they were open. If I could give our Server a score of 20 I would. Breakfast served fast & hot. Coffee kept coming! Thank you Maxims for brightening our day!

Very good food and service.

I was traveling for work and needed to pick up some dinner and decided to google places in the area. Maxims popped up so I decided to give it a try and I am SO GLAD that I did. I ordered their braised pot roast to go. The woman who helped me with my order was extremely kind and made sure I had everything I needed. The pot roast and vegetables were absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again before I return home to Virginia!

Family-style restaurant with great food! I had the corned beef hash and it was delicious! You could tell that the hash is made from scratch and from a real brisket- not from a can. Fluffiest pancakes I have ever had, and very generous portions for the children’s menu. Didn’t get a chance to try the desserts, but they looked wonderful in the front case.

Always a good meal for the price. Easy to get in most of the time. Service is excellent.

The walls are decorated with pithy aphorisms in multiple languages. Ate here for years before realizing that they aren't aphorisms. They are maxims.

Cream of carrot was fantastic! Complements to the chef! We arrived at 730 and were unaware that they close at 8, but they still invited us in and treated us with kindness and care. A seasoned waitress was training a new waitress and they were both very helpful. The trainer was very patient and kind to the trainee-so refreshing to see! Very gracious staff! My hubby had chicken dumpling soup and they brought dinner rolls out for us as well. We left with a gigantic cream puff to go! Thank you so very much! Looking forward to our next visit.
