Rosemont Inn Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I stayed one night at the Rosemont Inn on our drive back home from a wedding in Maine. Our room was beautiful and the shower was fantastic! The bed with so comfortable and we both slept great. There was a 24 hour coffee bar with french press coffee right outside of our room which was highly appreciated, as we both had to rise early to get some work done. We loved having a good cup of coffee first thing in the morning and not having to resort to a keurig. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room with fresh cut flowers. My wife’s bread pudding was delicious and Rita even accommodated my egg allergy on short notice. The luxurious robe in the room was a nice touch and I found myself looking up how I can get one for myself. Overall this was a great place to stay while passing though Utica.

Recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming Rosemont Inn and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The warm and welcoming atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the homemade food. The breakfast spread was a treat for the taste buds, with their signature muffins stealing the show. Paired with some French pressed coffee and a selection of teas, it was the perfect way to start the day. A great breakfast at no additional cost!

The inn itself is beautifully decorated, exuding a cozy and inviting ambiance. The French Victorian decor gives you the feel of stepping back in time.

I highly recommend the Rosemont Inn for anyone looking for a tranquil and enjoyable getaway. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Rosemont Inn was everything we were looking for. It's a beautiful inn near the main street of Utica. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was like new. There was self serve coffee/tea service on our floor. Breakfast was served in the dining room with its vintage details. Delightful offerings.

We were passing through Utica on a long roadtrip and were so so happy with our stay at the Rosemont B&B. The building is so cool and the interior has been carefully maintained with period pieces and you just felt transported. The room is beautifully updated while maintaining the charm of the home. The bed is so comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was AMAZING. Breakfast was delicious - homemade muffins, an egg flan with sun dried tomatoes and herbs, and a yogurt and maple granola parfait to top it off. It was all wonderful. The staff was great from the second we walked in to the moment we departed. Super friendly and helpful. The location was excellent as we could walk just 10 or so minutes down the road and have tons of restaurants to choose from.

We needed a place to stay overnight during our drive through NY. The Rosemont was a pleasant find. We stayed in the New Dawn room. It was very spacious. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. We had everything we needed. Rita was a great inn keeper/host. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here and would certainly stay again if I were ever back in the area.

Beautiful location and a friendly, accomodating staff. Great for staying the night for a local show, as it's just a three minute drive to the Saranac brewery. Nice rooms and a complimentary breakfast, what more do you need?

We needed a room overnight on our way to Boston, and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Well-situated near downtown Utica and very comfortable. The inn has been restored to its original classical beauty. Breakfast was good. Tea lovers will be spoiled. Highly recommended.

It’s an incredible privilege to stay in an historical Victorian house made in 1866. The host was welcoming and they made me and my wife feel like home, during our two night stay. They have a great tea selection and coffee all the time that you can enjoy. We stayed in Othello. The room was very comfortable with a great bathroom, shower and bathtub at the same time. Utica is a very special town. You can see the decaying historic buildings everywhere. But there is an effort to restore them. This house was one of them. Their efforts to keep this house intact is admirable. Don’t even think about it and book Rosemont right away. Absolutely beyond unimaginable cool experience. I cannot say enough good things about this property. My family needed 4 rooms on short notice for a funeral. Reservations were very easy to make. The Rosemont was the perfect location, as it provided a common room where my family could sit and reminisce, surrounded with furninshings that evoked memories of our Grandmother's home. The rooms and bathrooms were modern, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. It was so much better than staying at a hotel, and we will definately stay again when in Utica.

My stay was excellent! The owners were warm and inviting. The room was great and breakfast was delicious 😋. They make you feel like family. If you are ever in Utica looking for a place to stay, skip the hotel and stay at the Rosemont!

Location: easy walking distance along Gennessee St to downtown theatre and restaurants, ample free parking on-site.

THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! You will fall in love the moment you step inside. The owners even offer loose leaf tea to have whenever. The lady who made our breakfast is such a sweet heart. She is knowledgeable about the source of the food. We overheard a table asking for tons of dietary restrictions and you can tell she just wanted all her guests to be happy and enjoy her food! We haven’t even left the room before my boyfriend said we are planning another trip here again.

We (couple) loved this place! We stayed only a short while. We arrived around 9 pm and called shortly before to make the reservation as we were traveling across the country. They were very accommodating and allowed us to bring in our mountain bikes to store for the night. The historic and Victorian feel were enjoyable. The decor and details are hard to miss. We stayed in the lavender room, which was super cute. The bed and bedding was soft and comfortable. In the morning, we enjoyed the loose leaf tea, coffee, and breakfast (root vegetable hash was amazing and they accommodated being vegetarian). We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again if we were in the area.

The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was amazing seriously the shower was just great. And Rita was the absolutely sweetest host ever! She responded to me in a timely manor when it came to online communication and We overslept and missed breakfast and she offered to still make it for us! We didn’t take her up on the offer since we were in a hurry, but it smelled divine. Would 100% recommend!

I feel refreshed and rejuvenated after 3 nights at the Rosemont Inn where I spent time for a Respite Retreat for mother's of children with special needs. This time was so restorative, amd I'm grateful to Rita and Grace for the hospitality, beautiful clean space, delicious food, and amazing massage.

I stayed in their room named Chantilly. The decor, in soft gray tones, was so comfortable and relaxing. The bathroom was large, with a clawfoot tub and shower. There was a nice sitting area, and an enormous tv that I enjoyed as I rested! The bed was so comfy, with soft satiny sheets and a wonderfully heavy comforter.

Rita's breakfasts were fantastic!! She uses all local resources in her cooking, which you can taste. So fresh and delicious! Their hospitality was impressive, and I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. This is definitely one B&B you want to put on your list as "must visit!"

My wife and I enjoyed our one night stay while we visited a sick relative. Our first floor room was spacious and had a nicely appointed bathroom. We had a our German Shepherd with us and the room had plenty of room for him to stretch our on the floor and was convenient for access to the the large yard.
Rita prepared a lovely breakfast and was kind enough to share the history of the house. It was nice to stay in a special place.

My wife and I have now stayed at the Rosemont Inn twice. Both times Rita provided the Lagerfeld room, which is delightful and comfortable. The house itself is immense and lovely. The parlor is a great place to spend an evening with friends talking or playing board games, not unlike what it might have been in the nineteenth century.

Probably the best feature of the establishment is its breakfasts, the dining room, and of course, its proprietors, Rita and Grace. Each meal is a five-star offering every time. Rita is a polite, friendly joy of a person happy to converse with her guests or let them have their solitude.

This experience was a great one. I am from Texas and I am working in the area and wanted to bring my wife here for her birthday and escape the Corporate structure of Hotels. It was calm, peaceful, easy and very idealistic for a relaxing time. The bathrooms were amazing. The whole property was charming and full of history, and me being from Texas we thoroughly enjoy breakfast. The owner was very open to breakfast ideas each morning and made some astounding farm fresh items. Her special recipe muffins are the best I've ever tried! Would recommend.

I have stayed here several times. Family-run and owned, it feels like home—easeful, familiar, and imbued with kindness and care. A handsome old house current where it counts (electrical, plumbing), the rooms are spotless and comfortable yet carry historic charm. Rita and her team are consummate professionals, warm and talented in special ways. If you book direct with the Inn, expect inclusive gourmet breakfasts cooked to your taste. Onsite massage therapy is available from Grace, a gifted healer.
