We had a great afternoon at the bar. It happened to be customer appreciation day, the bar filled up with regulars. We were happy to see the support from the neighborhood. The bartender was very nice.

If you're a whiskey lover (Japanese, Irish, or bourbon) and in the Rockland area....GO here! You won't regret it. Everyone is awesome, and the selections are fantastic. To top it off, the price are beyond reasonable, and the flight specials are so worth it. Side note real tequila lover's. You'll appreciate that they carry Don Fulano. Be here if you can! Love this place.

Absolutely love this place. Got to meet the owner Travis who was awesome. The bartender Rob was great and made solid recommendations for beers that I would normally not try and loved. Small local spot with great beers. Just wish they had a few more bar food snacks/options but will definitely be going back!

Great cozy little place to go to get out of the cold fall weather that's approaching. People here are friendly and service is fast.

I know alot of people throw out a 5 star review but honestly I can't bring myself to take away from this place, went tonight for some drinks at the end of the night and my girlfriend and I had a great time. The community of people there is fantastic everyone seems to know each other, yet they don't make you feel like an outsider, we got to talk to the bartender and other patrons at the bar and had a fantastic time. If you're looking for a chill, welcoming atmosphere you'll most certainly find it here. I'll think about this place at most of my next bar visits and patiently await until I can drink here again. Can't wait to come back!

One of the best bread bowl beers I've had at a bar in Nyack named The Local.

It’s a drinking place with wonderful Hotdogs. So if that’s the place you’re looking for then you have hit pay dirt!! It’s fun and crazy but probably better for the younger generation

Great beer selection!! Trillium and schilling

Such a fun little place for drinks. Happened to go on a day they were hosting a Maine lobster restaurant pop up which was cool. Great rotating draft selection for beer. Also had some board games to chill with some friends.

Great spot for some good beers. Been following them on Instagram for a while and finally got to stop by for a few ipas and drink with my wife. Good talk with the bar tender (didn't get his name) and will be back for sure.

A place I have been going to for over 30 yrs...The owners/staff got it right, "The Local" it always has been. I have been out of the area for several years and The Local was the first stop and I consider my regular place.
