Turiello's Pizza House

Best tasting, priced, served pizza in this area! Google pizza from about 20mins away on my way back to NYC. Figured I’d try them out bc of their reviews. I’m NOT disappointed. Each of their specialty slices $4!! Normally you’d say hey it was only $4 bucks you get what you pay for but the complete opposite. I had a buffalo chicken slice and a grandma slice margarita. Absolutely delicious! As for the staff, laid back attitude always smiling “zen”fully pleasant. DEFINITE RECOMMEND! I would’ve taken a picture.. screw it there is is NOTHING left 😂🙃

Call me biased, but this pizza is a game-changer. While I know I have not had all the pizza on the planet, this one takes the pie. The crust is golden, crispy and just the right amount of doughy-ness and the combination of marinara sauce and cheese hit the spot every time. It also helps that the guys behind the counter are stinking nice and gentle all the time. I always intend to start with just one slice, but the irresistible flavors lure me into savoring two by the end of it all. If you are in Nyack or near Nyack. This is a must-try pizza spot.

This pizza is the best in the area. It’s an absolute life changing experience. You will sit down to enjoy with family and friends, or individually, and you will remember the moment you tasted and savored the rich flavor of their pizza. You will simply choose to never eat any other type of pizza again, knowing the experience is predestined failure. Such is life. Once you reach perfection, all the rest of nature is spoiled.

A relaxing place to have a great slice. I like the buffalo chicken and Pesto, but they've got a lot of other options too.

A little loud when busy, but great atmosphere. Perfect amount of seating and usually no wait! Tons of menu options and even gelato. Great for a quick bite and fantastic view out the windows

Great pizza with a more doughy base and very good homemade gelato. 16 inch pies sell for about $20 (plain for $16). They have a large number of pizza options including gluten free (also sell by slice), calzones, subs, wraps, pasta, salads, appetizers and desserts.

Prices are overall decent for the portions and wait times are decent for full pies (3 pies take out took 30 minutes).

Their crust is more doughy and thick instead of the typical crispy, especially for the specialty pies. The plain and other regular ones were just slightly thicker than the regular New York slice.

I liked the chicken Parm pie the most, although the plain and margherita weren't far behind.

The vanilla bean and chocolate hazelnut gelato were really good. You could see the actual vanilla bean and hazelnuts in the respective ones and both were smooth with great flavor.

The reviews for this place did not lie. We stopped in here for a quick bite while in the area and the food was wonderful! Had a slice of Grandma’s and garlic knots. I was very impressed with the quality of ingredients, the perfection of the dough (taste, texture and cook) and was shocked by how inexpensive it was. I absolutely recommend this local hole-in-the-wall, not just if you’re in the area, but it’s worth a special trip. I’m very excited to go again and try more!

The real deal. Grandma pizza was fantastic.

Incredible pizza and even better staff and owners. We stopped here for a quick slice on our way back from Bear Mountain biking on 9W. (anything tastes good after biking for 92 miles), but I could still tell this pizza was the real deal. We devoured all our slices and will definitely be back for more next bike trip. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, show them some love!

Dropped my daughter off to college in the area. Found this place when we first visited but got to bring my whole family back. Really really good food. Their basic pep pizza is probably my favorite I've ever had. The service is great. The guys behind the counter are always super nice. Glad I randomly walked in one day.

The pizzas and the gelato were unmissable.. And the potato croquettes..

ck (Rockland, NY).Has a delicious ice cream as well. Chattering service has really good food, but pizza is where it really shine.

We have tried most of the pizza in the area and Turiellos wins hands down. We go out of our way to get it even though it isn't the closest place to us. The guys that work there are super friendly and helpful, and the food is really great. Not only is the pizza really top notch, but we absolutely love their broccoli-spinach side, as well as their gelato (which, by the way, is the best ice cream in town). Bonus: if you call to place an order and they put you on hold, you get to listen to Pizza boy USA.

Turiello's pizza is the greatest pizza of all. The base and crust is as delicious as the toppings and the staff can't do enough for you. We've been dreaming of this pizza for years and coming back to Nyack after more than a decade, Turiello's was one of the first stops we made. Grab a slice ASAP.

Our first time ever at Turiello's, and that place just left an enormously positive impression on me. The pizza was excellent, the old school Italian restaurant setting with throwback pizzeria menus above the kitchen gave it the perfect ambience, and above all, the hospitality from the man himself Nino Turiello, a man I've never met before (and honestly, I didn't know who he was until after I left) welcome me in and tell me "please, have a seat, you're home." Nothing but love in this place, nothing but love for this place.

This place might be the best pizza I’ve ever had. My father used to live in Nyack and when we were visiting his old home, we got something to eat at Turiello’s which used to be his favorite pizza place when he lived in Nyack and still is. When we walked it, the man behind the counter instantly knew my father and greeted him. The staff is incredibly nice and I’m ALWAYS thinking about this place. Keep it up!!

Amazing food with incredible service! Whether it's thin or thick crust pizza, rice balls or garlic knots, Turiello's will leave you with a smile on your face and a full stomach! Try a Hero for a taste of old fashioned Italian authenticity!

For those of us who grew up knowing that the best pizza always comes from generations of local Italian families, this is “the place”! A perfect “Old School” pizzeria that never fails to deliver delicious piping hot authentic pizza pies. Whether by the slice or a full spread of cheesy deliciousness, you’ll always leave satisfied. Their melt-in-your-mouth meatballs are huge and outrageously good! I also love the refreshing Black Cherry Soda. We go out of our way to eat there. If we lived any closer, it would be my go-to lunch place… and that would be dangerous for my waistline! Sometimes street parking is a pain, but it’s definitely worth it!
