Pizza-A-Go-Go

1. This pizza was absolutely DELICIOUS (homemade sausage...). The flavor was reminiscent of quality nostalgic pizza of yesteryear. It's really good.
2. The owner was there and present and friendly.
3. Cash/check ONLY
4. Bring in your own salad/apps/alcohol because they don't have them and they allow this. They only have pizza and non-alcoholic beverages.
5. The pizza took 45ish minutes to make (they told us up front multiple times).... it's totally worth it.

Clean, consistent and great city-style pizza. Everytime we order, the pizza has a fresh, clean profile with great cheese. Pizza flavors are traditional. We get a Special & sausage / pepperoni.
Left overs are quickly eaten cold throughout the next day. It's a cash/check only restaurant, but they remind you when calling in an order.
The staff is always pleasant & helpful, even when it's a busy night. The interior is SUPER clean, every time we've been in over the years. Flat out, they make good pizza.

I thought the pizza was very good. We had to wait about forty minutes but it was well worth it. Our server Maddie was very excellent and a gentleman came out to talk to us. I'm assuming maybe the owner and asked us if we enjoyed our pizza. We told him absolutely he was very pleasant we had a great experience . When reading the bad reviews before we came. Which there were not a whole lot. I did not experience any of those things that those people said happened to them. I would recommend this place for their pizza. Parking is limited, so you may want to consider Carry out but other than that it is very great place to go.

We had never eaten here before but placed an order for pickup on our way through from Arizona.
It was ready by the ordered time, but they had put the wrong topping on 1/2 of one of the pizzas. My husband went back in and they made us another, as quick as possible, and also gave us a refund for the mistake.
Great customer service and the pizza was super yummy too! Even as leftovers!

Absoulty phenomenal pizza. Was worth the 30 minute drive to try something new and it's always nice when the food ends up being surprisingly better than anticipated. Thanks for your kindness and hospitality. The owner was here and probably the nicest friendliest fella. Would highly recommend their pizza anytime was very yummy!

The service here is almost too nice, 5 stars all around because the food is amazing.

Honestly, if you don't have cash, there's a Circle K right around the corner that does cashback. It's worth it.

This has been our favorite pizza place for many years. Others have now discovered this gem. It's always packed with take out orders flying out the door. You can't go wrong with any choice here. Try all the pizzas, you won't regret it. Pizza-A-Go-Go, we love you!!

I grew up on this pizza place over 40 years ago. I moved and so did they. My brother rediscovered them at this location and it's my favorite pizza shop again.

Excellent pizza. Plenty of experience in the kitchen. Nice quaint homey place in a good neighborhood. Very nice people. I'm handicapped and they carried the pizza to my car for me! Homemade pizza dough thrown by hand. 60+yrs experience in the kitchen. Clean as a whistle 👌 Cheaper than mostly all other places and top notch quality products 👌 will return soon. Highly recommended 👌 BRAVO! ❤❤❤

This is an Old time sort of pizza parlor. You can watch as they get the pizza ready. It's good and consistent. We have been a customer for probably 25-30 years.

Local pizza landmark of South St Louis. I was born in north co stl so I'm more of a orange Cheese square cut guy but this was a solid pizza if ya dig a traditional hand tossed pie.
The people inside are what made it special. You Definitely need to check this place out. No Frills, just real quality dough and thoughtful humans crafting it.

Excellent pizza reminds me of Luigi's pizza years ago. Perfect hand tossed with fresh ingredients and a not to sweet tomato sauce. Especially appreciate the mozzarella cheese which is a nice break from the gooey provel. Dinning room appears to seat 60. The staff could not be any friendlier.

This is probably the best pizza in St. Louis. The crust and dough are perfect, it’s very fresh. I usually get the meat special and it’s clear that the ingredients are high-quality. Thank you Pizza-A-Go-Go.

Can’t recommend Pizza-A-Go-Go highly enough. It’s a true classic pizzeria that’s been a St. Louis staple for decades, and all that experience counts toward a fantastic pie. Their crust of course is homemade and comes out crispy and flavorful. Their tomato sauce is fragrant and robust. Our favorite here is actually just cheese because you don’t need anything else on it to make it a wonderful pizza. You just need to go give them a try! Highly recommend!
