Love the Industrial Chic decore of this place. They also support local businesses which is fantastic. AND they're food and coffee is really good to boot. The other reviewers who rated this place "over priced" have clearly never been to a Starbucks where they charge you just as much to put your "food" in the microwave for 10 seconds and call it "gourmet". This is a local business with more than fare prices, especially when they're supporting their community and have such a beautiful Cafe. But don't take my word for it, check it out! You won't be disappointed!

It's so refreshing to go somewhere other than Starbucks!! And you don't have to wait in line for 15 minutes. The fresh bakery is made in-house, the ice cream is stupendous and the sandwiches all look delicious. AND there's a fire table outside on the patio. Love

I have a proud & loving relationship with coffee and espresso, I even look forward to my first brewed cup in the morning. I have at least two cups of coffee before I even leave the house or do anything. I'm also a proud penny pincher, and my husband and I purchased an espresso machine after being tired of paying for espresso from expansive, very well known companies (cough...Starbucks). I've been hooked to Steam Yard Coffee since my first visit, any espresso variation is always made to perfection! I'm a one stop shopper, I prefer convenience and speed. If I go anywhere it's usually out of necessity. Now, I'm ruined. I find myself driving out of my way, changing my route just for a hot flat white or latte. I have always encountered politeness, which keeps me happily coming back and I've never once complained about the price, because it's worth it. Now, I can't even drink Starbucks, it taste burnt and just not worth it. I'm forced to endure non caffeinated drinks when away from home or Steam Yard. I'm honestly confused about why the negative reviews on here - IDK what these/those individuals want!

Excellent dining experience! The atmosphere is clean and inviting with lots of seating options. Could totally see myself bringing in my laptop to do work at the bar seating. Jenna was so kind and welcoming! I really appreciated the gluten free options and how she said she would be happy to adapt the meal to meet my dietary requests. The food was delicious but the caramel latte was FANTASTIC! I can't wait to come back and bring friends. Thank you!

Beautiful experience. Super nice staff and regulars. My mocha was a touch too sweet but straight coffee rocks! Warm and inviting, wish I had more time to stay!

Every time I’ve been here I’ve received delicious coffee and friendly service. Price is a little high but also comparable to other quality coffee places. I’ve gotten cheaper priced coffee and lattes elsewhere but they also tasted cheaper. Steam Yard is only minutes away from my apartment so I’ll be back!

Absolutely outstanding service! Food was amazing! Coffee had unique choices, make your own combination and outstanding! Cozy indoor seating, outdoor seating, plus I drive through!

Really cute vibe, larger than you might expect for the location. Coffee was great (better than Starbucks in my opinion) and the food menu looks very interesting. Will definitely be back again and again.

Breakfast all day & Drive Thru : D, so we had the delicious breakfast burrito w/salsa on the side & this came with fresh orange slices! We ordered a mocha latte, fresh strawberry banana smoothie, the everything bagel w/cr cheese and croissant egg & cheese sandwich! 5/5stars

Just moved to Hartland and tried this place for the first time. We got a wrap and a salad and both were good. Coffee and desert after we're good too. Easy on/off HWY16. They have secure WiFi but I didn't try it.

This place is great. Friendly staff and owners. The kale pesto chicken flatbread is amazing. Coffee is great. Great price plus they have an xl cup size.

Steam Yard is the best coffee shop in the area. The food is delicious and the owners are the nicest people in the world. I love coming here for ice cream, too!

Breakfast burrito was fantastic! My daughter had a chocolate muffin and kept saying how much better this place was than Starbucks. I'd have to agree with her!

Very friendly staff. They're very helpful helping me understand what each menu item I was interested in meant which helped me decide what I wanted for my 1st visit. The sandwich I had was yummy just like the guy said it was.
