Brix N' Ale

The food was great and the service was awesome because all I had to do was order food on my phone along with my other friends and our food was brought to us. No waiting for servers to come around and get our food order and then waiting again to get our drink order or whatever. This place is awesome!

Excellent, my favorite place in Nyack ,very cozy, excellent food, my favorite dishes prosciutto arugula pizza and cajun shrimp sandwich, maravilloso !!. Good variety of beer and drinks. great service.

You will say "oh wow" when you walk into this beautifully decorated place. Food is great, shrimp was perfect. Our lunch waitress the other day was aloof but our dinner waitress today and the ambiance made up for it. Drinks are great. Bathrooms are a bit "industrial" but unisex (thumbs up).

Loved their salad, fries, lobster ravioli. Great atmosphere too... It took a while to get served but the food was worth the wait.

Great restaurant, delicious food and an awesome atmosphere.
Waiters were very friendly.

Besides really yummy pizza and drinks the staff at Brix N' Ale go to the next level. We hosted my father's celebration of life here 2 days after he died, and the staff made it a day of comfort and love. I cannot over state how much everyone went out of there way to provide a lovely afternoon. Thank you for serving great food and being great people.

I've been to Brickhouse since they've opened and their food has always been phenomenal. My favorites are the pizzas options. Recently i went in with coworkers for a quick bite and drink and had a great time. The atmosphere was always relaxed and lively. The drinks are a little expensive, but better quality than most of the bars in the area.

Great atmosphere! Really enjoyed the craft beers and the food is really good too.

We are here during the Nyack Street Fair. This place is super busy.
The staff is amazingly polite, cool-headed and doing a fantastic job with such a big, demanding crowd. The food is great!
This is definitely a place I would come again.

I was pretty impressed with this place. It had a lot of space and the space was well decorated with a mix of street art and industrial pieces all accented with some plants and nice hanging lights. The burgers were really good and I also enjoyed the pizza. They had a great selection of beers and other drinks. They had one projector playing a game but it was in the corner and the volume was low so you could watch it if you wanted but it didn't interfere with socializing. They also have a pool table although the pool sticks had seen better days. They kept the place clean and had dividers due to the covid restrictions. There was a DJ there so the music was great.

Great food! We had Brian as our server who was not only handling the bar, but also waiting on us and didn’t disappoint. This is our 2nd time here and the past month. This time I got a BBQ bacon burger and my girl ordered a personal Margarita pizza. The burger was outstanding, you can tell it was freshly cooked and none of that frozen nonsense. The pizza was also fantastic. Very light but fresh tasting and great sauce. I did notice one of the other waitresses yelling at some of her coworkers which we didn’t care for but other than that the food and Brian were great.

They're kind of disorganized (e.g. it's now called Brix n Ale but they haven't updated their online presence). But - the old chairs are very comfy, the beer list is decent (when you get the current one), the pizzas are AMAZING, and the people are very nice. We will definitely go back & I highly recommend it! Just be patient...

Wow, this place was amazing!
Decor - totally unique and trendy. We were amazed at the creativity that went into everything from the wine bottle lamps to the menus!
Food and drink - Blown away by the freshness and taste of everything from the dips to the pizza and drinks.
Service - Our waitress was extremely polite, fun, and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. It was obvious she genuinely cared that everything was perfect.

Definitely worth the trip and will probably be on your "best" list.

Came in for a quick lunch. Ordered a beer thinking it was something different than it was. The bartender followed up and made sure I got a beer a loved. Marie was super friendly and professional. Service was great. Ordered a chicken sandwich and it was quick and the fries were hot and tasty.

Food was great. Had the carmelized onions and sausage pizza, wings, and a salad. Food came out of order, but didn't matter - they were especially busy on a Saturday night... But to me, that's always confirmation that the place has good food. Recommend a reservation. Atmosphere was very enjoyable with the portico and lights, off beat styled table and chairs to the side, random classic movie playing on a big screen with subtitles, billiard table, etc

Stopped by yesterday for lunch, first time at the Brickhouse and so glad a friend referred it. I had the wings and a perfectly cooked smoked cheddar burger that included delicious fries. Atmosphere is laid back and my waiter was awesome! Thank you Andrew, for making my day ... you were very attentive and such a fun person to have work my table. My favorite part was Andrew ... wish we had a waiter like him in a restaurant on my side of the Hudson.

Brickhouse is great! Food is great and it’s really big and spacious so it’s great for families. When we go, our little one wanders over to the lounge “living room” area to play around with the toys and amusements that are there- keeps her busy! The portions are large and the food is great. We probably go here about once a month. It’s hopping and fun. Sometimes the service can be a little on the slow side but the place is so laid back it doesn’t matter. Highly recommended.

The place was great. Italian chicken sandwich and white wine, absolutely heaven. Jen was the best serve in the house! Really enjoyed our evening 😊

Nice atmosphere and excellent food!! Come hungry because the burgers are huge!! Pricing very reasonable!! Brian, our waiter/bartender was great...he makes a slamming margarita!!! Will definitely be back!!

Hands Down they have the best burgers around. Great Bar, nice staff. always quick to get food out and always accommodate each and every request.
Looking forward to our next visit.
