RiverWalk on the Falls Apartments

We have lived at RiverWalk on the Falls for the past two years - enjoying its convenient location to all Menomonee Falls. And we are still impressed with all the amenities offered at RiverWalk and the friendly, helpful staff to make sure everything is in proper order and well maintained. It is our hope to call RiverWalk home for many more years.

RiverWalk on the Falls is a wonderful community! I've lived in many luxury apartment complexes and this one is my favorite. The property is beautiful- from the design and decoration of the interior to the location on the river. The units are spacious with very nice finishings and unique design touches including fireplaces and decorative shelves. The community room is perfect for hosting events; my family enjoyed our holiday party there and everyone was so impressed by the beauty of the space. The office staff is incredibly kind, friendly and attentive- making everyone feel welcome and at home. I absolutely recommend RiverWalk on the Falls!

Sold our Mequon home in a day and started scouring the area for an available place to live. We were looking for a park like setting, a water feature (pond), access to bike trails and walking paths, and a pet friendly environment. We also had hoped to find a place with higher ceilings, loads of windows, balcony or patio as well as a shorter term lease as we knew we would be moving out of state soon. So very glad we found Riverwalk at the Falls! It checks all the boxes and more. Apartment living has been so much better than we imagined. (See the other detailed reviews for campus information, amenities and nearby activities.) The staff here truly does take care and pride in "their" apartment community. The property management staff is top notch, from front office where you are greeted warmly with a smile to the ever-present, hardworking, building support staff. Love renting here!

As a newcomer to Wisconsin, RiverWalk has been the perfect place for me to call home! It is walking distance to all of the Menomonee Falls shops and restaurants, as well as has incredible access to hiking, running and biking trails. With a fantastic office staff that is always there to help with a smile, an incredible maintenance team, this building has provided a clean, fun and relaxing community experience and I cannot wait to spend my second year here!

My fiancé and I have LOVED living at RiverWalk on the Falls. Every member of the staff was always so kind and treated us like family. They always knew who we were and asked us about our growing family or if they could help in any way with our new dog! Being a single building unit, we were able to form friendships with other tenants and really enjoy every amenity this building has to offer.

My family and I enjoyed everything about this apartment complex while we stayed here. It was the first time we have lived in an apartment in 20 years and it was much better than expected. The building design is amazing, the location on the river is fantastic, and the amenities (gym, common room, pool table, pool, dog washing room) made our stay very comfortable. However, the best part is the leasing and management team. Michael, Shelbie, and David were amazing. From knowing all of our names on day 1 to helping with every request we put to them, the team was a pleasure to work with.

My wife, 2 kids, and myself all highly recommend Riverwalk. Best apartment complex in the area.

I've lived at RiverWalk on the Falls for almost five months. The management staff is outstanding, responsive and caring. Location is perfect for walking my dog and close to restaurants and shopping. The area is quiet and safe at all hours of the day. I love my apartment.

Excellent place to live!

The apartments are roomy and comfortable with modern design aspects and new appliances. The leasing options provide a variety of floor plans to fit a wide range of budgets. In addition, the office staff is fantastic and always ready to go the extra mile to help with any resident needs! I would highly recommend Riverwalk on the Falls to anyone looking for a high-quality, premium apartment experience at a reasonable price in the Falls area!

Riverwalk on the Falls......where do I start?
Let's start by saying that my family and I love this place!
Location: You can't find a better location even if you build your own town! Everything is close, restaurants, grocery, stores,banks, schools, churches, gas stations, airport, everything!! And to top it all, our backyard is a river with an amazing waterfall!!!
Property: Brand new, state of the art design, with a classic touch, very stylish decorations that brings a happy feel. Nice heated outdoor pool located next to the river, gym, indoor heated/cooled garage, storage space, car wash, community room with pool table, and everything very clean.
Management: If the location and property description above are not enough, then wait until you meet the staff! These guys are like having your own personal VIP concierge! Very friendly and professional, they really care for their guests!

My husband and I were looking for a higher-end apartment after having sold our home of almost 30 years in Grafton. I'm retired, but he's still working -- so we wanted something that had both a nice community ambiance and "walkable" vibe to it, as well as a location with a better distance from/highway access to my husband's Milwaukee-area clients. The moment I walked into RiverWalk on the Falls, I knew "this was it!" I called my husband and said he needed to come over and look at this place. He immediately felt the same way. We did look at about 7 places total in the Milwaukee-metro area, all of which had a similar menu of upscale amenities -- BUT -- we came back to the RiverWalk. What we loved then about the RiverWalk location, and still do, was that it is nestled in the midst of Menomonee Falls' well-maintained historic district which is filled with retail, services, and beautiful flowers and landscaping. The city's Village Park (summer Music in the Park, Farmer's Market, Beer Garden etc.) is just 3 blocks away. Since we only recently moved in, we didn't use RiverWalk's pool or community room too much this year, but we appreciate how both are integrated into the building footprint; although my husband has already used the beautiful community room (adjacent to the pool) for several business meetings. The decor and structure of the RiverWalk tastefully incorporates the historic F&M Bank which used to stand here. We even have own little ArtSpace with rotating Artists in Residence. The concierges in the office are friendly and helpful and really do go out of their way to accommodate requests if at all possible. The complex has both a dedicated cleaner and a maintenance manager who we see busy working around the building every day. The tenants (our new neighbors :) are an eclectic group of people: Recently retired, seniors, young couples with and without children, and working couples and singles -- all of a variety of ages and ethnicities. This is a dog-friendly complex, with many dogs out and about every day with their owners; plus we have a little doggy washing station in the basement. I walk our dog along the beautiful and serene, well-maintained riverwalk which borders Mill Pond and the waterfall and is directly adjacent to the RiverWalk. I often continue my walk across Main Street along the paved village walk into the woods. Clearly, based on the number of people we see out in the evening, this is considered a safe area. We've already found our favorite Friday Fish Fry joint (1 1/2 blocks away), Irish Bar (across the street), and a new salon (also across the street). We own a home in Arizona and also love to travel, and while we do plan on being in Wisconsin quite a bit no matter what the season, we love being able to just "lock and leave" and not worry about our new "home" here. In sum -- a great and unexpected experience thus far!

I lived at the RiverWalk for 14 months. The amenities are great and the staff was wonderful and accommodating. The apartments are well appointed and secure. The residents are also very welcoming. I would highly recommend!

My husband and I moved to Menomonee Falls in June 2019 and could not picture living anywhere else. The location is ideal and there are so many fun restaurants, grocery stores and boutiques within walking distance. We love the concerts in the summer at the park, the free yoga classes, resident get-togethers and the discounts and events the team (Shelbie, Mike and Dave) offer. The staff is so accommodating, patient and always go above and beyond for us. We love how pet friendly the apartments are and the fact that there is a lot of outdoor space including trails for us to take walks with our dog. We cannot recommend living at Riverwalk on the Falls enough!

We moved into the Riverwalk apartments 3 months ago after selling our home in Wauwatosa where we lived for 40 years! After looking at several different apartment communities we decided on the Riverwalk and are so pleased with our decision! We love the location! We are walking distance to a grocery store, many eating establishments, Menomonee River Parkway (interestingly enough, the very same place we lived in Wauwatosa) The Bug Line, retail shopping etc, etc.!! Our apartment is beautiful, staff is friendly, helpful, responsive, and do many things to promote community. The numerous amenities add to our enjoyment, especially the coffee! Overall, we couldn't be happier in our new surroundings. Wimmer Communities have done a wonderful job with the Riverwalk Property. Thank you.

We were at Riverwalk for 2 years and we were absolutely spoiled. After being relocated and looking for apartments out of state it is obvious how good we had it. The staff is incredibly friendly and they really make it feel like home. The amenities are top notch, the utilities (fridge, stove, microwave, etc) are top notch, and the other residents are top notch. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Also be sure to check out Nino’s down the street, you won’t regret it.

RiverWalk affords me a lifestyle unmatched by any other community in the area! In thinking about what to share in this review, my reflection reinforced the many reasons I selected this community as my new home almost a year ago. Everything, especially the staff, is top notch and the location couldn't be better! If you're looking for a first class place to live, look no further than RiverWalk!

Excellent apartments. We lived at Riverwalk on the Falls for 2 years and highly recommend it. They have all the amenities – pool, workout facility, inside parking, outdoor grills, Amazon hub. Residents are all ages and are quiet & friendly. The staff is very helpful. It’s across the street from AJ O’Brady’s and walking distance to Costco and many restaurants.

I was new to the state of Wisconsin and when I walked into view the Riverwalk apartments I was immediately greeted by a friendly property staff and beautiful complex. I have lived in my unit since May and I have been the happiest I have ever been. Convenient location, great property and great neighbors. Riverwalk apartments has truly gave me a great place to call home!

I never write reviews. This is a fantastic place to live so I felt I needed to say that publicly. Live here if you like the following: quiet, courteous and age-diverse neighbors. Super responsive management who are not thrown off by nonstandard questions or requests. Wonderful safe indoor underground parking. Top shelf common room that makes you feel like you are staying at a posh hotel. Everything is new and clean and fresh. Daily hallway cleanings. This place has it all. I bought a home but if I was going to stay in apartment living it would’ve been here for a loooong time. Worth every penny.

The Riverwalk on the Falls is in a great location. It offers a great setting whether it’s walking my dog or enjoying the view while lounging at the pool. The property is well maintained, it offers many amenities and everyone is friendly. I would highly recommend if you are considering renting in the area.

Living at Riverwalk:

Where do I begin? As soon as you walk into the lobby you are struck with AMAZING! You feel like you are walking into a high end, yet comfortable setting. Then you are greeted by the wonderful staff that works there. They are gracious, accommodating, and treat you like family. As you get the tour, you walk into the clubhouse and you are blown away with the creative genius who designed the sitting area(s) & artwork. The kitchen has all the bells and whistles to include complimentary coffee, cappuccinos, espressos, or hot chocolate. Knowing that this is available to reserve for private parties is a bonus to treat your family & friends to this experience.

Then you have the units. 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. I have had the luxury of residing in a 1 and a 2 bedroom. I have to say the attention to detail is the same in the units, the only differences are the square footage. Having your own washer/dryer unit, your own storage unit, underground parking, a fitness center, art studio, and how can you forget the in-ground pool at this Riverwalk setting? Watching and hearing the waterfall in the background, walking the trails, and seeing wildlife is such a treat. The residents here get together for summer nights of fun, and other seasonal fun. Riverwalk treated their residents to a wonderful holiday celebration, and complimentary yoga classes held once per month. Riverwalk also accommodates fur babies, which is also a treat when you see residents walking their pets.

When my family and friends come over to visit, they are amazed with the amenities and the location. To walk across the street, or in the Village – you have an array of choices of restaurants, boutiques, pubs, and a load of other options. Watching the Christmas parade from my balcony was a treat, and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at AJ’s is a fun time! I have made some wonderful friendships here with not only the residents, but with the management. I also have to add that if anything goes amiss in your unit, maintenance is there to help in a timely fashion. I have no regrets moving into this wonderful complex, and will never forget my experience here. I’m confident you would be amazed as well!
