Glenora Wine Cellars

I really liked these wine cellars. Lots of space, beautiful scenery overlooking the lake, and delicious wine to try. We bought several bottles of wine for family and friends. The taste of the wine is reminiscent of wines from Ontario, but, of course, is slightly different. The wine is not too expensive, and there are also discounts. We will come here again

Glenora Winery stands as one of the oldest, most renowned, and breathtaking wineries. They provide guided winery tours at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, with a charge of $20 for both the tour and wine tasting, while only the wine tasting incurs a $10 fee. The tour guide exudes friendliness and cooperation. Their impressive portfolio boasts over 50 wines, with an annual production of 60,000+ cases (each containing 12 bottles). The sprawling grape farm covers more than 150 acres and supports home delivery upon request. The establishment offers ample parking for cars and features an on-site restaurant, which unfortunately remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

My husband surprised we with a valentine package which included an overnight stay at the Inn at Glenora. 5 stars goes to the Inn at Glenora for all categories. We started with the wine tastings. Check out was at 3Pm and when we arrived to our room we were greeted with a nice sized cheese and cracker basket( cheeses were a variety and melted in our mouth) warm choclate chip scones with chocolate dipping sauce a large bottle of champaigne and a bottle of resling house wine chilled in the fridge.) All was included in the package. I was impressed with the many bath towels (excellent quality) for the 2 sized whirlpool which was delightful. The fireplace was nice and warm relaxing and romantic. The king sizedbed was the best of quality regarding the quality and we both enjoyed the best of best regarding sleeping. The room was so very private and included a enclosed deck which opened up to the scenic view of the winery and seneca lake. What I loved most was I never heard doors closing in neighboring rooms water running footsteps. I loved when you walked through the hallways at the Inn separate sitting areas to view the beautiful scenery. The Inn at Glenora Wine cellars is a special place and I highly recommend it. Glenora wine cellars were a very awesome experience. The view, the staff and so much tasting.. my two favorites were the pineapple and also the raspberry wine. These 2 were by far the tastiest if your thing is a sweet wine.

Could not recommend enough! Great wine - we tried dry reds, petnat, sparkling - in a very friendly atmosphere. We went there on NYE right before closing to get a quick tasting and buy bottles and our server was so helpful sweet. Will be back in the Summer for sure!

We had an excellent time! The wine tasting gave us some new wines to add to our collection. The view from the deck was breathtaking! The wine and the view makes me miss the Finger Lakes. Until next time Glenora! 💜

Very nice selection of wines from as dry as you can get to as sweet as you could get! They also had some bubbly and even a cider! Literally something for everybody! If you don't like them sweet they definitely had the dryer side of things. Nice size pores for the tastings as well. Very friendly staff!

Consistently delicious! My favorite winery for fruit wines. Friendly and knowledgeable staff

A must stop if you are a fan of fruit wines. Always a great experience regardless of if your stopping in to shop, for a slushee or trying a flight. Make sure to also check out Glenora Falls which is below the winery and is featured on the label of some of their bottles!

Nice place to hang and sample some very nice white wines. Really enjoyed Glenora's take on Riesling wines. I also have to say if you like a sweet apple cider, their Trestle Creek hard cider was delicious.

Did a wine tasting. They have many to choose from. I like the sweet wines so I was very pleased. Ended up buying the Raspberry Spumante. Outdoor seating with gorgeous views. Very clean. Staff was very professional and friendly.

We loved the wines and more so our wine guide, Michelle. After being turned away at 4:10 at a neighboring winery, we were greated warmly by Michelle. The NV Brut is fav. Thank u for making day off fr9m te India better day. I'd definitely recommend my customers to you wimery!

Award winning wines offered with restaurant and hotel in separate buildings on-site. Tasting are on par with other local wineries for cost. Plenty of parking and tasting room seating. Sell wines, cheeses, and other non-food items.

Absolutely spectacular view. The location is not only beautiful but convenient to the wine trail. Being able to have a tasting and then walk back to a comfortable room is a serious treat. Everyone was also friendly and professional to match. Can't have asked for a better experience.

Nice winery. We enjoyed out tastings. FYI no cheese board is offered and the restaurant is closed for the season. Still a good experience. We did buy 3 bottles of wine.

Glendora was a great visit. Plenty of area to walk around the vineyards, take some wine outside, or sit inside with a great view. They had cheese pairings with their wine tasting and sell a variety of cheese if you wanted to make your own cheese platter. They also have a restaurant with some good creations. Worth a visit!

Excellent crab bisque and veggie burger. Brut sparkling wine and a lovely view also.

I earlier posted about the Glenora Winery Inn breakfast. I do stand by the disappointment of it, but by no means is it a critique of our stay as a whole.
I can't stress enough about the peacefulness of our stay. It was so quiet that we didn't know anyone else was there. The room was so clean when we arrived and through our stay when serviced. Sitting on our own balcony with a glass of wine and looking out over the vineyard and Seneca Lake was unbelievably beautiful and peaceful. The big sky at night was also amazing. We would go back anytime!

Wine tasting was friendly and informative. Lunch was served fast and was delicious. Could not ask for better service . The view was awesome. Very relaxing, wish we had stayed here.
