Thomas Gordy: Allstate Insurance

I am so incredibly satisfied with my experience of switching insurance companies. I've put it off for far to long because I didn't want to deal with what I "thought" would be a hassle. Martin Roth assured me that it would be a smooth transaction and without a doubt, Martin kept his word! Not only was he more than accommodating to my work schedule but Martin also took the time to educate me on the differences between what my coverages were with "the other company" vs what my coverages are now with Allstate. I have never had an insurance agent spend any amount of time explaining the important information that we as the insured should know.

Tom’s agency is the best of the best. He’s done a great job over the last 6 years I’ve had him. I recently got into a car accident and the process was smoother than I could have imagined. Marty was so helpful when we signed up with Allstate. We’ve gotten discounts for the pandemic and by activating Drivewise. Any time you have a question, their office returns your call promptly. Thanks guys!!!

We switched from Progressive. Saved quite a bit of money and Allstate took care of all the work to cancel our other policies! It was easy and would recommend to anyone to do a rate comparison!

If I could give this agent no stars I would. We have had issues with poor communication, miscommunication, poor representation when issues came up from the representatives in this office in addition to Thomas Gordy himself.
We finally got tired of the poor service and pulled all of our policies from this agent along with Allstate per the recommendation of Thomas Gordy.
When we tried to cancel our policies, they could not even get the cancelation dates correct and required several calls.
Claims were horrible trying to get through with this agent and with Allstate. He had all kinds of problems every time we had to file a claim for auto and home.

they accidentally sent me a DMV abstract of my COMPLETE driving record and I am 61. Thomas Gordy says it is legal for them to have all 45 years of my drivers record.

If you thought they only had 5 or 7 years of your driving record think again. Call Thomas Gordy and ask him.

I cannot even justify giving them one star. This Allstate has been my home insurance provider for many years.. This past Jan, they hired someone to come out to my property to take pictures without my permission. Then I received a phone call from Marty telling me I had until the end of March to make repairs which were railings on my front porch, a back porch and a drooping gutter. Mind you, this was in the winter with snow piled up around my house and I was going to have these things done by the end of March?!
I then paid a contractor 3000.00 towards these repairs in which the total bill was 4500.00 to be paid upon completion. I sent the receipt in and got a little extension.. It is now mid June and my repairs are completed and I paid my contractor the rest of the money.
I then get a notice in my email that my home owner's insurance is going up anyway... 33.00 per month despite the fact that I had the repairs completed. I then called Marty and he told me that I need to bundle my auto policy with the home owner's policy to get a cheaper rate... He never, told me this in the first place or I would have never had these porches put on my house in which I could NOT afford.. I had to borrow the money from the bank to get these home improvements done and was going to apply the difference from the higher rate to the rate I already had towards that loan... I feel so let down that this has been done to me... I work darned hard for a living and keep my house safe and well kept and also have a Simplisafe system here... I will never, recommend these dishonest people ever!

It was terrible. I could never get a hold of anyone and when I wanted a simple policy change it took weeks to change and caused confusion on my bill so I missed my payment.... and now I think I'm dropped from coverage? Not sure. I didn't get a letter or anything, but I can't pay my bill.
