Every corner of this darling store is curated and inspiring - even the bathroom! If you need a gift, they’ll wrap it for you. Perfect outing with the kid in your life! A huge selection of titles organized by topic. My middle grade reader always finds something new he’s excited about. Support this great local spot!

The staff here is AMAZING. I went with my nanny child and she had such a great time. One of the staff members read her a book while I was waiting for my items to gift wrapped. It's very child friendly and super cozy. They also do a story time every Saturday at 10 a.m. I HIGHLY recommend this bookstore!! I even managed to find a book for my self!

This little bookshop has curated the absolute best collection of children's books, from baby to young adult. Organized so well and decorated beautifully! Will definitely visit every time I'm in town!

Nice little store with very friendly staff and a great selection of children books. I would recommend this store for anyone in the Upper Arlington School System looking to pick up a book for required reading.

Great place for cultivating young minds. The owner is so passionate about her readers as are staff. Wonderful place for family & children.

This place is magical. There's simply no other way to describe it. At first, "magical" seems a strange word to describe this place, but once you've been, you'll understand why it fits. The store itself is so thoughtfully laid out and beautiful (even the bathroom!), the staff so friendly and knowledgeable, the selection of kids books so diverse, and the location in a wonderful neighborhood. Simply put, this place is like a real-world Shop Around the Corner (from "You've Got Mail"), but even better.

I hesitate to write this review because, selfishly, Cover to Cover has been a secret I have kept all to myself, as it is my absolute favorite children’s’ book store in Columbus, both as an educator and as a giver of gifts to the young kiddos in our family! Between the incredible personalized service, the thoughtfully curated collection on offer, and the various author visits and events the staff organize. This shop will be your ace in the hole, as it has been mine over the last few years. It’s a delight just to visit, and I will surely be back for many years to come, regardless of distance or (today’s) wintry danger!

Book lovers, be prepared to spend time and money in this wonderful little shop! It's beautifully appointed with a thorough and impressive selection of books. And if you can't find what you're looking for, they'll order it in for you. The staff is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is where I spend my book dollars!

Such a sweet little shop. They have a nice diverse collection of kids books. I came in not realizing it was a kids store, looking for an Ohio native plant guide. But the associates were so helpful anyway! They can order you basically any book, they just stock kids books on the shelves.

I agree with some of the other reviews that say this is the best Children’s bookstore in Columbus, however I would actually say this is the best children’s book store in the country! We have been to some great ones in LA, San Francisco, DC, Raleigh, and more. The friendly service, great selection, impeccable organization system, and separate area for older readers makes this truly the best kids bookstore in the country.

Cover to Cover is a beautiful little store with a great selection of books and caring and responsive staff. They have a very active special events calendar with lots of kids activities and are supportive of both local and national authors. If they don’t have a book in stock, they’ll order it. A magical place and my go-to for all kids books and literature. Fun totes and toys as well.

went here for author Mindy McGinnis' meet-n-greet and not only was it incredibly fun, the staff were polite and they had a great collection of books, one of which we bought and the other we got for free! (thank you advanced reader copy!)

I have been a customer of Cover to Cover for years and was sad to see the store relocate to Upper Arlington. However, it is worth the drive for the amazing selection of children's and young adult books. And the staff never lets me down with their recommendations. I can tell them books that my kids, nieces and nephews enjoy and they always point me in the right direction.

Just an amazing place for young and old (but especially the littles!). Authors read their books to kids at story times on the weekends. The small shop abounds with an amazing selection of books and gifts and wonderful places to read or sit.

If that wasn't enough, which frankly it is, the staff are more like curators and guides. That's likely due to the vision of the stores founders who are amazing.

Thank you for this neighborhood gem. This gem is just to good to keep to myself so I decided to write this review. Check the website for events, come for no reason other than a love of books, or stop by for great gifts for the kids in your life. You will not be disappointed

Disclaimer: I detest giving everything a 5 star (3=adequate/average, 4=really great; mostly my reviews get those ratings) so this place really is top notch!!

A really cute bookstore that my family and I love going to. Mrs. Meyers gave me some great suggestions on books for my two year old. I talked to Mrs. Meyers about concepts we were trying my two year old and she must've pulled at least 10 books on those concepts. We never felt rushed to leave or pressure to buy anything. We took our time reading the books to our 2 year old and picked the ones we liked the best. Highly recommend this bookstore! Mrs. Meyers-thank you so much for your help and recommendations!

I went in here a few weeks ago looking for Spanish children's books, they did not let me down. They have a variety of children's books from new to old school. I would recommend this book store to anyone who has little ones in their life :) the staff is very kind, patient and helpful!

On 1-25-2020, I attended a "children's book reading" by author Brian Wray at Cover to Cover Children's Books at its new location in the "Old Arlington" neighborhood of Upper Arlington. The "Old Arlington" neighborhood of Upper Arlington is anything south of W. Lane Ave. Cover to Cover Children's Books had previously been located in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus.

I have not been a child for approximately 60 years and I am not a parent so I have had only minimal interaction with children's literature for many decades. I live only 1½ miles away from Cover to Cover Children's books so I had been able to walk there [even though it had been late January -- but evidently had been sufficiently warm -- that day].

The area near the back of Cover to Cover Children's Books had been filled with many people [most of them children sitting on the floor but there had also been adults sitting on chairs]. The next paragraph is quoted from the "official" description of the book that Brian Wray had read and discussed that day.

"Talking about mental health issues is daunting. Often, just starting the conversation is the hardest part. With his latest book, 'Max’s Box,' Brian Wray offers children and grown-ups a way to begin these important discussions. Through simple story-telling and cartoonish illustrations, Wray gives his readers a glimpse into what can happen when emotions are suppressed. He also demonstrates how, with the help of people who care, we can learn to express, and then let go of, the things that hold us back."

Cover to Cover Children's Books is a well-designed space with a great selection of children's books. I highly recommend Cover to Cover Children's Books.

Amazing children's book store in the heart of UA. Perfect match for the mallway. The owner greeted us as we walked up to the door, she helped find a selection of books and even read to my daughter while we made our decision. We'll definitely be going back.
