I recently dined at Sabai Sabai, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance was inviting, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was simply exquisite. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity.

My go-to for Thai food is curry fried rice. You know an entree or dish is good, if after you eat it, you just savor the taste. Their curry fried rice (I added chicken) was perfection. I tried their standard fried rice (also with the flightless bird) and a side of their Sabai Sabai noodles. All of the food was delicious.
The price-point is on the mid-to-high end, approximately $15 per meal average.
I came to visit and I will have it again (this week).

I was in Lake Geneva for a couple of days and found myself in the mood for sushi.
Sabai Sabai was one of the highest rated restaurants in Lake Geneva, so we gave it a try.

Ordered: shrimp tempura (appetizer), spicy tuna roll, California roll, and Godzilla roll, with mango sticky rice for dessert.

The shrimp tempura had a light, crisp coating - better than most other versions I've had. They were petite and delightful. It's tough to avoid oil flavoring the food in an unpleasant way, but the flavorful ponzu sauce was great.

The sushi was excellent, as good as I've ever had so far from the freshness of a coastal city.

The plating of the sticky rice was interesting, A shared plate with two tiny forks featuring a lump of rice and a delicately sliced segment of fresh mango in a pool of sweetened milk sauce. It wasn't bad, but it wouldn't be something I would order again. I've had much better.

The restaurant is in a historic manor building. Essentially, a big old house. As such, the layout and seating is trying to maximize minimal space. It was a Friday evening and the place was hopping. It felt cramped, and I wasn't comfortable being so close to other diners' tables - but if the last four years have taught me anything, it's that capitalism doesn't leave room for comfort or safety.

Perhaps the most pleasant part of the experience was the host, who (if I were to guess) was an owner or manager. She was friendly and genuinely appreciated our business.

Parking is a situation that locals probably do just fine with, but being from out of town, we ended up in a paid lot which was a pain in the butt and about $3 more expensive than it needed to be, given the time of year and demand.

If you're in Lake Geneva, Sabai Sabai is a solid choice.

Went on a date to lake Geneva with my bf. I honestly was not impressed with the reviews, but tried anyway. LET ME TELL YOU, I was wrong! 😄 I ordered the house salad whose ginger dressing was made from scratch, do not be fooled by the textured presentation of it, it was so good! You could taste the strong ginger pieces in there (which I love). We ordered the veggie fried spring rolls and those were amazing! They come in an order of 5 (we ate one before pic), we’ve had them in a few places and they are okay, but these are awesome. We also did sushi (cuc and Avo rolls modified with eel sauce and crunch, Godzilla & Shrimp tempura rolls)and was very filling, the rice has a slightly almost different flavor than other places, but I eat a lot of sushi, so I caught it, it was still good.

Prices were reasonable and we ended up sitting outside because I looked at the pics of the place and also went to the restroom and was unsure sitting inside, gave me calm and almost sad vibes, so we enjoyed sitting outside with the bright sun and slight breeze.

Service was friendly and kind. The lady there was very attentive and quick to our needs.

Parking is a nightmare in Geneva, could definitely be because we were here for the Labor Day weekend and would recommend coming in earlier if you have reservations due to parking. We were lucky enough that parking was across the street and not 5 blocks down. 😆 We will be back!

We visited Lake Geneva and came across this Thai restaurant. We really loved the food and the server was very sweet. We had panang tofu and heavenly tofu. It was delicious. This place is a must visit if you’re in Lake Geneva

I didn’t have a reservation and as a solo traveler I wasn’t super hopeful that they’d be able to seat me on this extremely busy night but they found me a table and provided outstanding and attentive service. Yes I had to wait a bit but I don’t mind being patient. The front of the place seems like a madhouse but they know what they’re doing and it shows. I have traveled extensively and live in a major city where excellent restaurants are plentiful and I have to say my meal tonight was one of the best I’ve EVER had. Generous portions, friendly waitstaff despite being crazy busy. I had two very fresh and delicious sushi rolls, an awesome ginger salad and the mango sticky rice for dessert. My expectations (Thai? sushi? In small town Wisconsin?) were blown out of the water. Highly highly recommend. (Prices were also extremely reasonable and from what I saw around me, they are also family friendly.)

Excellent food in an old house converted to a restaurant. The menu is vast and encompasses classic Thai food, sushi, and various house specialties, rice, vegetables, and noodle-based , with many protein options. Really nice fish on the nigiri sushi we enjoyed, and the entree portions are generous (easily two meals if you take your leftovers home), reasonably priced, and some of the "spicy" dishes really do have the proper heat level for a change. Lots to love about this establishment! But watch out for the expensive metered street parking. And some diners might find the tables a little on the small side and fairly close together. So have a relaxed attitude about shared conversations!

Such a great rebuild a few years back. We love going here for authentic Thai and then they even added a sushi bar. It’s in an old house, so the ambiance is very cozy. Definitely recommend going and getting on the list early during peak times; it will fill up fast!

Amazing Thai Food and Sushi available in Lake Geneva!! Sabai Sabai offers TASTY food packed with flavors. Great food, super fresh, and delicious.

We got in around 1:50 pm on a Friday afternoon and the server did a fantastic job of taking our orders quickly and suggesting good items to try. They closed at 2:30 pm but the service was quick and accommodating and the food arrived quickly and was incredible. The sushi rolls were perfect, do try the Dragon and Godzilla rolls. The Thai Iced Tea was so refreshing.

I would definitely go back and try more things on the menu. Highly Recommend.

This place is awesome!! I started with the best crab rangoon I've ever had anywhere. They were huge and stuffed with flavor. Then tried the Godzilla Roll for sushi, it was delicious! Very large rolls. For my entree I had the drunken noodles and they were so flavourful and sweet with a little spice to them. I enjoyed eating here. The atmosphere was elegant and the waitress was very attendant. I also had a Thai tea which is hard to find and it was super yummy as well.

We went for dinner and this place is delicious!! The Tom yum soup is a generous portion. We had a fried rice with shrimp and a vegetarian dish with tofu with a spice level of 1. It came with a serving of plain rice. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend reservations - I made them online. This place gets busy. Looks like a family run restaurant 😊

We sat on the patio which was very nice and pleasant & left happy and satisfied!

This restaurant will deliver a great quality of sushi and Thai food. It’s an old house that has been converted to a restaurant and I highly recommended trying the Godzilla sushi roll all theDragon. The eggplant fried pork was spectacular as well. I recommend this restaurant hundred percent.

We went there today after attending the Winterfest. We had a 3:30pm reservation and they took us in early, even though they were super busy. The atmosphere was so homey and inviting 🥰. Our server greeted us with a smile and helped us with recommendations. We got the steamed potstickers, spring rolls, and two Thai noodle dishes. The food came out quickly even though every seat was filled in the restaurant. The price was very affordable for the fresh food we received and we took leftovers home . The flavors were amazing!!! Bravo team!!! You dd an amazing job!!!❤ I will definitely visit again when I’m back in Lake Geneva!!!!

Definitely recommend a reservation as that worked best for us... we had a group of 7 on a busy Saturday evening.

This is a house converted into a restaurant, but don't let it fool you. The service is terrific and the food is delicious! They have a great variety of dishes to choose from and lots of great sushi options. The sushi is very fresh and always great quality; we like to order a variety of sushi as appetizers. The Thai tea is a sweet, creamy refreshing treat; I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you're sitting on the cute outdoor patio on a warm summer day. We've been here several times now and it has become a family favorite. The quality has been consistent, the prices are reasonable, the portions are good, and the service is always excellent.
