Hunt Club Steakhouse

I am a long time resident of Lake Geneva. This is one of the best (if not the best) restaurant in the area. The food is unique and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and fancy at the same time, offering a beautiful view. The service never disappoints. The managers are very accommodating. If you’re looking for a good meal, you found the place!

Literally the greatest meal and dining experience I've ever had. Came for my 32nd birthday and will become a regular for special occasions. I ordered a few different whiskeys too and when informed they had run out of one, I was offered a MUCH better 18yr old bourbon that had just been opened and it was the best bourbon I've ever tasted. The wagyu with black truffle bone marrow butter was literally melt in your mouth good. To top it all off the waitress was nice enough to throw a candle in my tiramisu dessert. OMG the food was so delicious. We had the crab cakes for an app and they were outstanding. William was our server. He was amazing. Definitely would recommend and look forward to coming back.

My friend and I were in Lake Geneva area for Winter fest and Ice Castles. Birthday dinner did not disappoint at Hunt Club. Sea scallops were buttery, moist and delicious. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Fingerling potatoes were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Brussel sprouts were amazing.

All I can say is WOW!! What a dining experience. The wife and I came to Lake Geneva to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and I was looking for a place to have dinner that would live up to the occasion, that's no easy task bring that we're from Chicago where some of the top rated restaurants in the country are. Let me just say The Hunt's Club Steakhouse far exceeded our lofty expectations!! The crab cake was the best we've ever had! We both had the 16oz. ribeye with asparagus. Let me say, I am absolutely amazed at how they were able to infuse so much flavor into a boneless ribeye, nor have I ever had a boneless steak so tender! The service and ambiance was every bit as incredible as the meal itself. A word of caution, if you're not native to the area and going there at night, it can be a little daunting to find, nevertheless, well worth it. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Can't wait to cone back in the spring.

Carl, the general manager, went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday a pleasant surprise. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the ambiance was wonderful in a countryside setting. Thanks, Carl, you're the best.

The atmosphere, service, and food is the best. I had medium rare steak and asparagus. The best steak ever.

Expensive but worth it. Great service and a great view of the golfing green. Fascinating history and good vibes. Really REALLY good food. Try the duck! Our old fashioneds were really good too 10/10

Tried their Valentine’s Day menu with my work group. The service was excellent and so was the food. The atmosphere is classy and ideal for dates or classy meals. I will definitely be back.

SABRINA, Our server was just amazing. Very attentive, highly recommend her taking care of you. I have not had a meal where the entire time we keep talking about how scrumptious the food is. We were the Sunday night, it was quiet. We stared with the bread service and the Breadcake wine. We order ribeye and a filet all three steaks were cooks to perfection. We order three sides to share and none of them disappointed whipped mash, macaroni and the Brussels sprouts. These Brussels sprouts are LITERALLY THE BEST you’ll ever have. To end we ordered dessert and Sabrina made us some delicious chocolate espresso martinis to end the night. This place was highly recommended to us and now I highly recommend to you.

Made my reservation in late December for Valentine's Day since IL fine dining is still questionable and the 43-mile haul from Beach Park in Lake County IL was well worth it.

Upscale venue boasts a fine all-around menu, extensive wine & cocktail list, luxurious and well sanitized atmosphere and an ultra friendly staff with a server who was very attentive to us.

By all means not cheap but the food was delicious and my wife & I will definitely come back. A lovely setting in what used to be a house until the turn of the century.

Located roughly 3 miles west of Lake Geneva's downtown area and not far from the Ice Castles. A great place for a date but also seems to be a family/kid friendly environment.

Always happy to support local businesses especially during these dark days and hopefully this year everything will return to normal.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The place was very nice and the historical building was really impressive. The food was delicious. Our server, Zakery, was amazing. He gave great recommendations, he was spot on!

Views from the dining room are picturesque. Please prepare yourself. The views will be topped by spectacular dishes on the menu.

They were able to accommodate our request for a different reservation last minute. My husband surprised me on our 10th wedding anniversary by inviting our friends and family up to renew our vows, and Hunt Club was able to change our reservations from just the 2 of us to now all 9 of us. The service was incredible, and the food, the same. Even though their POS system crashed just as we arrived, and unfortunately for the restaurant, they had to cancel all reservations for the rest of their busy Saturday night. (due to no fault of their own, ATT and the banks crashing). They still served us, and took care of us, and we had the best time celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing dinner and just outstanding service. Thank you to the restaurant and the staff for taking such good care of us. They truly went above and beyond for us.

Phenomenal experience. The food is really, really good. The crab cake and succotash for an appetizer is perfect for two people (or a really hungry single person...) Also highly recommend the twice baked potato!!!! Both have delicious candied bacon that adds the X factor. We also had the filet mignon and asparagus and added lobster tail. Everything was incredible. It will be a staple restaurant for us every time we come to Lake Geneva going forward. Seriously, one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to!
