Drexel Theatre

Wonderfully restored 1937 Art Deco theater in the heart of Bexley. Great mix of classics, contemporary, art and everything in-between.

Ohhh, the Drexel Theatre has been a favorite of mine for decades. My late husband and I would plan our dates around the Drexel when there was only one screen. Now, after returning to Central Ohio, after almost 30 years, the charm has not changed. Just think that a new generation is in service at the Drexel, and they are as attentive as ever!

A very charming and classic theatre to catch a movie. A good place close to home to go out on a date night!

Great experience even being stuck in the corner of the front row. I LOVE small, local theaters and this was my first time at Drexel. I would definitely come again. Friendly service and small, clean theaters. Easy parking is a plus.

Went there with the Cbus movie group for the Oscar's. Like last year it didn't disappoint. Great staff. Nice ambience. Amazing host. No complaints. ❤

I went with my g friend to watch killers of the flower moon. The movie was good, the popcorn and dpepsi was delish ..it was clean and the chairs were comfortable.

I love Drexel Theatres! When I don't go to Easton Dine-in movie theatre, The Drexel is my go to. The interior is beautiful there is a great assortment of craft beers, popcorn, candy tea, and other treats. I rode by Drexel yesterday. I can't wait until we can all go enjoy a movie at the theater again.

It's been many years since I have gone to a movie theater. Never been to the Drexel. Wonderful!

I love this place. This is how the movies should be. It is a getaway for me !Sometimes immediately after work or early evening and The 9:45 PM viewings have an ambience second to none. I get lost in the movies and I think of the history that this place has given to Central Ohio. What’s not to like? The beer and wine are priced better than movie chains and here at the Drexel you get REAL butter with your popcorn!!!

Restroom facilities are spacious, well lit and extremely clean.
Service is friendly, personable and, when asked, They will give you the insight of a film they’ve seen.

Saw Otto. The theatre was very clean and nice and cozy. Accommodated my wheelchair well. Seats were very comfortable (I transferred). We really enjoyed the evening. This is our favorite place to go to the movies!

Love this spot. Have only been once since moving to Bexley this past summer, but intend to make this my regular theater. Friendly staff and fabulous drink selection. The building and its history are the cherry on top.

Loved my experience from entrance to exit.
I enjoyed the movie and the atmosphere.
I wish I had known the cut off time for popcorn, Darn no refill for me. I had shared my bucket with 2 others, so no...not greedy.
But overall, great experience ❤

It’s a really lovely, intimate theater space. Comfy chairs, great quality screenings, and dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable staff. And!! You’re majorly supporting a local business by going. What’s not to love about it!

Best movie theater in central Ohio!!!!! I went to the theater on Christmas Eve and there was a lady calling a sweet and kind worker the b word for enforcing the rule that we have to show our vaccination cards. it’s year 2 in the pandemic, if you don’t realize you need a picture of your vax card on your phone you’re stupid, don’t cuss out a worker because you made a mistake and didn’t use your brain.

but anyway besides that incredibly rude and ignorant customer this theater is beautiful. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, the concessions are yummy, and the theater seats are comfortable. overall a GREAT place to go see a movie :)

We try to see a movie at the Drexel as often as we can. Seats are very comfortable, and staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I love the classic movies they play on Mondays.

The Drexel is a local icon, known for its beautiful Art Deco design and unique film offerings. It is small, beautifully maintained and an all around fantastic place to see a film. The staff is always friendly, the snacks and ticket prices are very reasonable. I can honestly say that I've thoroughly enjoyed every visit to this theatre, and I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself.

Great place, local business, historical building. They are always playing at least one classic, and at least one up-and-coming film. Inexpensive food+drink. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Popcorn isn’t bad. Serves soft drinks. Good decor. Recently renovated, which is sad, because it is a historical building. Clean restrooms.

Drexel did a great job on the remodel! The staff was friendly a d accomidating. This is a must visit location.

Staff and theater were great. Film left a lot to be desired but cannot win them all.
