Eastland Inn Restaurant and Tavern

We have driven by this restaurant dozens of times in our travels around Berea. Have been wanting to stop in and try it out just about as long as we have now been in Berea. Today was finally the day we had the opportunity to try Eastland inn restaurant out.

We went fairly early on a Thursday evening so it was not super packed full of people and there was plenty of parking. Got seated and spent several minutes looking over the menu. I waffled several times trying to decide on what to try for our first visit.

We ended up ordering mozzarella sticks as an appetizer to start. Sticks were solid, marinara dipping sauce was excellent.

I decided on the Cincinnati chili with a side of the stuffed pepper soup for my dinner. My wife got the liver and onions with mashed potatoes and green beans.

The soup was great. The broth had a great flavor and the actual stuffed pepper aspect was quite good. Tried the chili part of my meal first and was quite happy with the flavor. It is not a skyline chili style chilli (no cinnamon and sweet flavor) which I was thankful for as I was hoping for more traditional style chilli tonight. The pasta was excellent and the dish worked well together.

My wife was very happy with her liver and onions and said she really enjoyed the mashed potatoes. They were more of the chunky, almost baked potato consistency she enjoys.

After seeing a table near us get the Thursday taco special, I think my next visit is going to consist of those for sure.

Overall, we really enjoyed the food and experience. We regretted having not visited sooner but do expect to go back again in the future for sure.

The only thing to say is "wow", after driving by the Eastland Inn for years we decided to give it a try for their Lenten fish fry.

The fish fry was excellent, but more importantly the service was absolutely amazing. Everyone that we interacted with was friendly, including the owner who introduced himself, and there were no delays in getting our food, beverage refills, etc.

Other bars / restaurants would benefit from looking at the Eastland Inn's level of service as it is outstanding.

We will be back for some of their other daily dinner specials as well as the entertainment they frequently schedule.

Definitely check out the Eastland Inn.

I’m in town traveling for work and the hotel recommended this place for lunch. Had the lunch fish and chips and it was delicious. I’ll be back!!

For the type establishment it is, the Eastland is a friendly local pub.

I was very pleased, more than I imagined I would be, with the food here. Standard pub fare, but well done (really good fries!)

Popular events like trivia nights are regular. We went for the "Friends" trivia night. Fun!

You'll enjoy the place- staff is very service oriented, and friendly. We did meet the owner- very good fellow.

The perch was the best my wife and I ever had. The pieces were large and meaty with the most minimal breading. Excellent!

This is our second time here and both times we have loved the place. Great menu, and service and tasty. We go to the fairgrounds to see the lights..

First visit. Attentive server. Food was good and nice serving size. Very clean and welcoming. We will be back!

It’s a very small place. I’ve only had their fried perch. It’s always delicious. Our service was great and very attentive. I highly recommend this place

The Lake Erie Perch was great. Wonderful atmosphere will be going again soon.

Pretty decent wings here not really spicy enough for me bit being from Atlanta lemon pepper was missing from the menu but still some good flavors to choose from. Sat at the bar and waited food came out pretty fast. Great lil spot to catch a drink and grab a bite looks like a real locals spot plenty of regulars inside

I had a surprise birthday party for my Husband at Eastland Inn Restaurant and Tavern on May 13th. We love Eastland. The food is great, staff is super nice, and friendly. Atmosphere is the best. My whole family was impressed by the Eastland Inn. I received many nice compliments on the place, food, and staff.
It was a great evening. I am so thankful for everything and everyone. We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

We hosted a graduation celebration at Eastland and couldn’t be more thankful! Our servers and bartenders were attentive, the food we chose was delicious, and setting up the event was so simple. I would recommend your next celebration be at the Eastland Inn for the great environment and wonderful staff!

Absolutely loved this place! We were en route from Pennsylvania to Grand Rapids and back in one day and decided an hour and half from home to find a nice place to stop. Nice place is understated. As soon as we walked on the spotless welcoming patio we knew we hit pay dirt. We met the nicest locals and enjoyed visiting with them ss the staff took care of our vey need. The perch was amazing and my husband had the steak special which was equally as good. The clam chowder is a definite keeper. We loved it so much I bought a very nice t shirt to remind me often of our vist. . We will return as often as we can. It’s definitely worth getting out of the rat race for s fun time.

We love going to Eastland Inn! The atmosphere is so cozy and Dominic and his staff make sure you feel at home. The food is always amazing, the fish fry is spectacular everything from the muscles, to the perch is excellent highly recommend!

Finally was able to get in last Wednesday! It's been ions since I have came in. Hands down impressed! Got the crab legs and damn, they were perfect. Pierogies, FANTASTIC! Waitress who came over once was nice. Bartender who took the orders, super cool guy! We cannot wait to get there and hopefully get in again! A+!

Just a great all around pub. Food, drinks, entertainment, you’ll have fun at this Tavern. Huge karaoke on Saturday if you’re into singing.

This place is well run- Great Food, Clean, Excellent Service, Nice- comfortable place. And Reasonable prices with no surcharges. Definitely be back often!
