Officer Mark rescued my wife and I after we locked ourselves out of our car - we had no keys, wallets or cell phones - they were all locked inside our vehicle! We got someone to call the police for us and the officer arrived within 10 minutes and rescued our sorry selves! He was very pleasant and explained exactly what he was doing - he was understanding and showed his sense of humor! We were thankful we dragged him out on this rescue mission while the weather was so nice. Officer Mark is an exemplary example of how interactions with the police should happen. Thank you again for your kindness and professionalism.

Awesome Police Department in the City I Grew Up in! Never Spent any major Time in Police Station outside of Visit, but Father was a Fireman in Brook Park and Police and Fire Share Building!

I like police, but speed trap at Smith is ridiculous. They should drive around because I could catch at least 5 violations in the morn when I go to work. Noone knows how to drive anymore. One sat morn I'm coming off Sylvia I turn right and I see a truck coming down smith from Sheldon and I have plenty of time cause he's at least 10 cars back so I go on and move in left lane not thinking nothing of it because I figured I'm in the flow of traffic (which there was none) this guy drives beside me all the way to the light at snow, starts yelling at me and calling me names and saying I cut him off. No I didn't cut him off I just got him to slow down and he didn't like it. So this is why we need cops to patrol and watch the ignorant people driving. They can't just sit there to try and get speed tickets they need to catch people that are drunk, cause if I didn't keep myself calm my situation coulda been worse for me or that other guy in the truck.

Officers are rude and are very aggressive, threatening and when I asked to speak to the lieutenant I was denied my right to speak to him and when I asked this officer for his name and badge number he laughed at me and straight up told me no. all I know is he's the sergeant and he needs to be retrained on how to do his job and treat the citizens correctly since he does matter in fact work for us as a servant. I asked him multiple times for his name and badge number I can report him because he refused to follow orders

While driving down Holland with my family in my car, patrol car 214 turned left onto Holland and cut me off. I had to slam on my brakes and honked. Did the officer even hit his brakes at all? No! Called the station to let them know maybe officer wasn't paying attention, and the snippy woman on the phone said I need to go to the station to speak with someone. Funny how officers are supposed to protect civillians, yet damn near caused a collision. If the roles were reversed, I'd be pulled over.. What a shame.

Website info needs to be updated. The website says that they offer fingerprint services to residents but that's not true. They only do it for people that work or is trying to get a job with the city.

The dispatch woman was the most rude lady ive ever encountered... All i tried to do is be a nice person when i saw a dead animal on the side of the road... I was previously asked to remain at the site... a half an hour later i called back because because i didnt see a single police car and i quote " they checked at the corner of zaremba and 130th and didnt see anything but i literally could see that intersection from where i was parked... So either the lady was lying or didnt know what the hell to do but i honestly felt disrespected and honestly dont even think i ever want to call brookpark police station even if i needed them if thats is how im going to get spoken to and all because i was trying to be a model citizen and do the right think........ Someone hit a deer. We called and waited 45 minutes to find out they looked in a totally different area? Dispatcher was rude as heck!

The person answering the phone at the front desk would rather tell you to Google it then actually offer any sort of help. I wish I could go to work and not do my job too.

I am "Hating" the picture. On Google, it shows an outhouse, I believe that is at one of the playgrounds. The picture is NOT the police station photo. Change it.
