Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My daughter made a late decision and stopped at The Cracker Barrel in Brooklyn Hts., OH. The store is as it is in other store. Lots of variety of clothes, games, Christmas items, candy and so much more. We both order chicken tenders with mac n cheese. She had biscuits and I ordered the cornbread muffins. I also ordered a lemonade. The service was excellent!!! Our waiter was Eduardo. He was superb! He was friendly, engaging, and personable. The food was hot and very good. In fact, they didn’t have any tenders because it was about 9:30pm. We were fine and our waiter suggested the chicken breast instead. The breast were tender, very moist and fried very well. The entire meal was good. As usually, we both recommend this location.

My grandmother and I came here for her birthday celebration and the waiter, John, was terrific! He definitely deserves a raise for his passion and enthusiasm. This was a visit I'll never forget.

I have always wanted to have a breakfast in a Cracker Barrel. Finally I put my car to charge cross the street during the trip and had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant. The food is flavorful. I ordered grandma’s sampler. I couldn’t finish it. The price is very affordable. Love this place.

First time at a Cracker Barrel and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly and the food was great.

Mine and husbands favorite restaurant! Took my best friend there first time there in 82 years! She LOVED it! Took a meal to go! Cozy and relaxing atmosphere with dim light dining and real fireplace. Staff are so kind and helpful! Prices are great, and you get plenty of food for the money too! Told one of my sons to switch gift cards from Red Lobster to here! Keep doing what you are, thank you!

The food was very good! I ordered the roast beef and it was so tender and delicious! The shop is very cool!! When we went (with quite a large family ourself) it was very busy and the service was still great, she handled it like a pro! My husband's steak came out way late so we had to begin eating without him and we were almost done before he received his meal. But they explained it as the first steak they cooked was wrong and they made them re cook it and honestly he said it was worth the wait because it was cooked perfectly and was very good.

Delish! Totally skeptical at first, definitely would not be my first choice for breakfast but they totally proved me wrong. It was Delicious!

First time experience visiting had a gift shop/restaurant in same location. With nice atmosphere but was extremely busy the day I went. Had good food & good service waitress was very polite & helpful with a old time rustic farm charm.

Breakfast is always awesome, many dishes to choose from. We been here for lunch and dinner but this review is strictly about breakfast. Staff is friendly, decor is always interesting and the shopping is unique. So wife had Momma’s pancake breakfast and I had Grandma’s sampler. My pancake I asked for the wild blueberry and edges was crisp and the center fluffy. So amazing and I didn’t leave nothing behind. Breakfast is indeed better than other franchise. Another visit for dinner, great chicken pot pie.

5 stars for great food and service. Got the country ham and a couple of miller lite cold beers. Fantastic!

My friend and I both had a sampler platter which had honey ham steak, meatloaf, chicken and southern style dumplings as a base. Three sides were offered with this meal. I had sweet baby carrots, mashed potatoes and white gravy and oh my mama this ginormous sweet potato with pecans and a caramel sauce with 2 huge toasted marshmallows on top. My friend had coleslaw as one of her sides. Corn meal muffins and real butter, too. Delish! I can eat 3 meals off of this easily! Great meal. Great price. :)

This is a review for the Thanksgiving Feast. I served it for the first time this year and it was a winner with my family. I was a little worried that there may not be enough food as some of my family are big eaters. There was so much left over! Will definitely order again.

I love this place I go outta my way to go here when I'm at the Cleveland clinic . But this last time the waitress was overwhelmed 😞 not because she was busy just didn't know how to do her job .I asked for a refill three times never got one . My food was brought out to me wrong order . By the time that was fixed my husband was through eating . She finally brought it ran off I had no silverware . I tracked that down decided to get a to go box eat later had to find someone to bring me a to go box . Got that still no drink refill .. couldn't wait any longer from the frustration I was feeling at this point .got a manager and explained my experience. He responded well I will go back just avoid her section.

As usual we enjoyed the whole experience, with the exception of a very bitter and miserable wait staff. That's rare at CB! We were three cheerful and happy people who spread cheer wherever we go. We COULD NOT get through to this person, no matter what we did at each encounter. We did not complain we had to ask two and three times for things. We decided this was that person's individual problem and their duty to handle, and we let it go.

BUT, this situation was unlike other visits and was a small hurdle. We are grateful it was rare, and that we weren't in a place that allowed guns in the hands of unstable people.

Our food was terrific: hot, tasty, substantial, and comforting. And now that there's a liquor license, two light beers were ordered.

We enjoyed the interesting new products in the shoppe, especially the glitter globes and all the derivative styles. The clothes are pretty and tempting, although the prices aren't as low as I prefer.

I had the catfish fried, with sides of greens and fried apples and a baked potato (all toppings on the side). My friends had the farm fried chicken breast with the same sides. It was too much to eat, so we all took a box of our next meal home with us.

Oh, and I remembered that I had a "perk" coming to me, and so ordered the beignets. OMG, they do not need the dipping syrup provided! They were tasty, tender, and satisfying.

Yeah, I know where'll be going soon. Right after I wipe off the drool.😁

The food here is always delicious. No matter how crowded it is, service is always quick and waitstaff is always very friendly. We always try to find a Cracker Barrell whenever we travel. The food is always good. Thank you.

Enjoyed a great breakfast at 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐥! I visited on July 4th 💥 🇺🇸 with my gf. We ordered country fried chicken, macaroni, mashed potatoes, turnip greens 🥬, pinto beans, trout, and cornbread. Everything was flavorous and fresh. One of my fav breakfast restaurants.

Me & my family & friends enjoyed a nice breakfast here. It's been a minute since I've visited a Cracker Barrel, but my kids & my mom & dad love this place. The wait was to be expected, but it wasn't long went rather quickly. the waiter was a nice gentleman & the food was great all around a great experience.

I went there because I love chicken and dumplings. I also love the fried okra. The green beans with bacon to season them were also wonderful. I wish there was a Cracker Barrel closer to me. Thanks to all the people working there that made my visit great.
