I am a realtor in Cleveland, OH who has referred several customers to this company over the years. They have the highest integrity and my clients are always so comfortable with them. I trust them completely and always feel good giving out their name. I also wanted to say they are very reliable!

Recent winds took a few shingles from our house and we had some water leaking. Scott came out, went up on the roof, fixed the problem, all in about 10 minutes. No fuss, no hassles, and no up-sells to a whole new roof or anything like that. Just fixed what needed fixing. And at a reasonable price!

Right-On Roofing can repair any type of roof. The crew is reliable and courteous. They are dedicated to their profession. The customers needs always come first. Right-On has proven to be a great roofing company since 1978.

They did an excellent job! The roof looks fantastic, yard is completely cleaned and prices was good. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

honest roofer. won't do more than is necessary. got his name from a friend who'd had the same kind of experience. he's a guy you can trust to do the job right and to do the right job....at a good price.

High quality work

We had some roof and chimney work that needed to be done. The owner came out and was very knowledgable and quoted us a fair price for what we needed done (minor roof repair and a chimney cap). We confirmed and were put on the schedule.

The workers showed up without any warning one day and got to work. After they were done and gone, we realized they had left looses shingles both in our front plants and near our garage, and a rechargeable battery. They needed to come back to put the cap on though, so no worries, we kept those things for when they got back. Weeks passed and no communication. I finally had to call them.

When they did come back to finish the job, they left the shingles again. (Only took the battery because I gave it to one person.) Again, no call or warning, just showed up one day.

They were very prompt in sending me an invoice, which I paid.

Now, this next part is on me because I definitely should have checked to make sure they finished the job before paying them. A couple of weeks later, I happened to go behind my detached garage on a whim, and saw our custom-made, brand new chimney cap on the ground up against the garage. I called them and asked about it- the lady on the phone was very kind and was flabbergasted- her work order showed the job as 'completed'- which, obviously, it wasn't. She promised to call back once she figured out what was going on.

She never called back. Our realtors (we were selling our house and closed in a week and a half at this point) called the owner. The workers again showed up without a call ahead (but I appreciated how prompt they were to come fix it!).

We never heard back from them to confirm the job was finished. Nada.

To summarize:

PROS:
-reasonable pricing
-decent work (from what we can tell)
-fairly quick service
-quick response when made aware of unfinished job

CONS:
-EXTREMELY poor communication
-didn't clean up after themselves entirely
-didn't finish the work and did not tell us (but accepted payment anyways)

Overall:

I'm not sure I'd use this company again just because it was such a hassle. I wish they had been better at communicating. But they had decent pricing and (hopefully) good work.

Very unresponsive and untimely. Would not recommend to even come inspect/estimate. Scott Fishel performed initial inspection for home and stated no maintenance was required. Upon heavy rain there were leaks appearing inside the house originating from the roof flashing we had concerns about. We requested another estimate and it took a few weeks for Scott to come back out. After coming out and evaluating the roof for an estimate, we did not receive anything after reaching out to Kathy multiple times via email and phone. Judging from the communication breakdown and initial inspection, I do not trust this company even performing any work.

Unreliable to say the least.I booked them for work in October. They did a partial job, never finished what they were hired for. 8 months later I had to hire someone else to finish the job. Funny how quickly they could get the bill out to me for the partial job after I parted ways. Lol

I used to work with these gentlemen for a short time, employees are great guys. I do things a little differently so I moved on but great people

TLDR: Charged me $600 for half an hour of work to replace 4 slate tiles. Was told $600 is their minimum fee.

My realtor recommended them to me because I had to provide a letter about my slate roof to my insurance agency in order to retain my insurance.

Connor came to give an assessment for tile work and later someone else came to assess tuck pointing. I never got an itemized assessment. When we decided not to do tuck pointing, it took several weeks of calling to get an estimate on just the roof.

They finally gave me an estimate of $600. At this point I was a few weeks from loosing my insurance, so I went with it. Had to call each subsequent week to ensure they'd come before my insurance lapsed. They would never give me a date/time.

True to their estimate, they charged me $600 for half an hour's worth of work to replace four tiles. It was obvious no one had come back to assess the roof because the workers themselves were very surprised at how little there was to do. When I asked for an itemized receipt, Kathy told me that $600 is their minimum charge.

I'm very disappoint by the responsiveness and cost of Right-On Roofing.
