Havener Park

One of Delaware County's Preservation Parks, Deer Haven/Havener Park is a beautiful bird preservation, butterfly preservation, and full of wildlife, turtles, frogs. Wonderful trails through the park lead to discoveries of the majesty of nature.

It is connected with deer haven park which I also related with five stars. This is by far my favorite park over state parks and city parks, well maintained and beautiful sceneries and various trails for all needs, some for dogs and some for only people. There is a bird shelter near deer haven parking lot which you can have an access to havener park as well. Because the easy parking right in front of liberty road in front of soccer fields, you can enter this park earlier than regular park operating hours, another reason that I come here a lot after I drop off my child at the school. Not crowded at all and trails are not paved which I love. It is easy 3 mile jogging trail. Trails are all shaded and it is lovely to see changes of seasons and fall colors.

My son plays soccer with OYAA almost everyweek in this park. We love it. Very clean. Enough parking.

I enjoyed that there was a lengthy pet trail as well as other trails, which had many waste stations and numerous bag stations to use. It was quite convenient.

There is also a soccer field nearby that kids can play at which seems to be really nice. Overall we had a great time and will be back to see the other trails.

Great park tucked away from the main roads. Soccer fields up front are well-maintained, but parking can get really crowded sometimes. Nature trails and facilities are in the back.

Good walking trails, decent park. They have birds in cages though. Make sure to check out the observation building in the woods.

One of my favorite parks to walk, connecting to deer haven park. The path is well maintained and very pretty and not ever crowded.

Great, beautiful park. Several miles of paths available. Lots of beautiful trees, open prairies, and wildlife.

Lots of paths for walking. Parts in shade and parts in sun. Not a lot of places to sit in shade. Love the wetland boardwalk.
