Baba’s Grill

My husband and I asked where to eat while visiting the works today. They said go to Babas we did, and it was delicious. He had the rheuban, I ate the Philly, mac and cheese, and sweet corn bites as sides all great!

My husband and I stopped in after work, our first time there. We’re definitely hitting this spot again. The sandwiches were delicious! Juicy and flavorful meats. The hand cut fries weren’t soggy or bland, crispy with just enough seasoning. We found our new local hangout for a mouthwatering sandwich. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great food and great atmosphere!! So just finished up a pottery class and was hungry. We didn't want a chain we wanted something different. This place was amazing and It's a sandwich shop for sure with a caveat got to be one of the best sandwich shops. I'm not sure what the fries are seasoned with but it's phenomenal. The onion rings were crispy and the dipping sauce... Which I normally avoid was just right. The atmosphere is pleasant and helpful. It may be on the pricier side but as we found out the portions are generous. We ended up having two lunches so it's a good deal. For a suggestion if you like a Reuben... This is one of to two I have had since living in Ohio.

Dumpster fries were out of this world. I would not get the Mac and cheese on it because it's Velveeta. But, that's my only thing. I would get some cheddar cheese on it... fresh cut fries YUMMY 😋😋😋

The best Philly sandwiches in town. The place is spotless and spacious. We had many birthday parties there and it was amazing. The owners, Omar and Tara are awesome and always have a smile on their faces.

Crappy day in Ohio and didn't get anything out for dinner. At the high recommendation of my son-in-law, decided to order take out from Baba's. Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak to split with Mrs., hand cut fries and Mac bites. Huge mistake on splitting that sandwich. Was done with 1/2 and wanted more. It is delicious. I would order the fries again and ask they are cooked a little longer.

Best Philly cheesesteak I have ever had. Was introduced to it by a coworker and absolutely love it. One of my favorite places to eat in Newark.

The philly cheesesteak is to die for. They did such a nice job remodeling the new location too. I recommend this place to all my friends. Great people too

Great spot! Take a chance you won't be disappointed. There's a pickle spear under there. Fries are fantastic. Sandwich is memorable and well prepared Nd presented. Thank you for the personal note! This place is a go and go again!

I loved my reuben sandwich, perfectly toasted, plenty of meat. Meat is in small pieces not slices. This was fine with me but did make it messy. Fries were good.

You will regret NOT coming here. From the beginning to end was an amazing experience. All the staff were so kind and sweet. The food was also very delicious. Thank you 😊

Aside from my moms, this was THE BEST Rueben I've ever had. Definitely well portioned, service was great, food was hot. I got mac & cheese bites with it and they were also AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back!

Going to go back to try some of their other sandwiches. Plenty of seating area and good selection on the menu.

We love this place! My youngest asks for it all the time. Delicious food especially the Philly steak & fries. Great customer service. It's nice having a place to eat that both kids enjoy & we don't have to fight them to finish their food. Clean plates all around.

My wife and I ate there back in July as our traveling took us through Newark. The food was excellent, and the service was great!

Only the second time being here, but this is a place you don't want to skip out on! Had a philly(with some changes) and I inhaled it! The meat is amazing and the baba sauce is the icing on the cake! The owner is so nice and keeps things moving. This is a walk-up place only so keep that in mind but during the summer it will perfect to sit out at the tables.

Wow. The entire experience was amazing. Take your lick of food from the menu or create your own. I suggest you add the fresh fries.

Plan on stopping here! While visiting Newark I stopped in and had the Philly and it was one of the most flavorful sandwiches I’ve ever had. The fries were also crispy and seasoned to perfection. The staff was extremely kind and didn’t mind making some menu recommendations since I’m not from the area. The next time I’m in Newark I’ll definitely be coming back!
