Food was good. Only problem we changed tables. We told our waitress the table was sticky n she pointed to rag n said it would dry in couple of minutes. Table was sticky n we moved tables n had new waitress. Prices were fair n food was actually really good. Music in background was 80s soft rock. Enjoyed my experience.

I had the daily special and it was great. Very reasonable prices.

I take my grandkids for breakfast sometimes when they sleepover. They LOVE the French toast. They lady that's been there a very long time is amazing. She's very attentive, nice and never misses a beat even when she gets extremely busy. I love supporting small businesses. Great place to dine.

Family run business ery clean. Chairs higher than most restaurant. Great place to go for family meals. Good food... breakfast, lunch & dinner.
When we were there, a group of 8 women were playing Contract Bridge. Great place to get together. Prices good !

Cottage Restaurant is still a great, small business owned restaurant to go to for dinner. Really love the AYCE fish on Friday and they give you very generous portions of fish!

The Cottage is the best kept secret in the Newark area! It has a "locals only" feel due to the location being somewhat removed from the highway in a two-stoplight town, but it's worth the scenic drive from surrounding areas. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items are all yummy--but no matter what time you stop in, be sure to get the Cottage Chips!

Me and my son love coming here. We always try to make it at at least every other Friday (meatloaf) and pepper in a few other times when we can. Great food, great people. I do not normally recommend places but this a fantastic place to eat.

Wonderful Restaurant! I am so lucky that I stopped at this restaurant while just driving past it. This has it all: Good food, Good service, and Good prices. Be sure and buy the pie, even if you have to take it home, as I did. Everything is good, but the Butterscotch Pie is exceptional. I live an hour and 15 minutes away, but I will be back.

Good food, service, and prices. Had the cheese steak sandwich, and it was one of the best I've had, even though it was thicker meat than I expected and different bread. My step-dad had the fried bologna and it was a nice, thick cut. The service was great, really nice. The whole place felt very friendly. Pie was excellent, too!

My 2nd time ever there and as the first time this place really was good. Not only the food but the waitress herself did an awesome job.
I will definitely be back here as well as spreading the word of a good diner to take your family to.

Great little restaurant in Hanover, Ohio! Burgers and pattymelt were perfect juicy!
Salad was fresh and bright! Dutch Apple pie warmed with a scoop of ice cream, was a surprise and super wonderful!
