La Paloma Mexican Restaurant

Very nice little hole in wall restaurant. Was nothing fancy on inside however food was AMAZING. If in the area you have got to try this little hidden jewel out.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been going since i was in high school. Every time my family comes into town we have to go. The food is great and the staff is always helpful with describing new items we want to try. Very family oriented. I think the restaurant on 21st has fresher food but the seating is limited.

I've always enjoyed La Paloma sopapias, but they were particularly delicious during this visit downtown. The owner also made a point to come out and visit with all of the diners - a nice touch during this time when people are actually encouraged to avoid one another.

Fast, friendly service! Food is ALWAYS hot and really tasty! Family friendly and never overcrowded! The pricing is just right for a night out! Quality of food is very good! Try their sopapillas!!

Wonderful food. Great service and I imagine the business will thrive again after the construction is finished 9 months from now. Eat there if you can get to it, and keep that business alive.

Best Beef Flour Enchiladas around. I've been all over Ohio, and surrounding states, and never had any this good. The one in Heath is also wonderful.

I LOVE LAPOMA IN DOWNTOWN NEWARK. WHEN I MOVED TO INDIANA A FEW YEARS AGO AND WOULD TRY TO ORDER A SOPAPILLA AT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT THEY THOUGHT I WAS NUTS. CAME BACK HOME AND HAD TO HAVE ONE THE VERY FIRST DAY. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, PLACE IS COZY AND FOOD IS DELISH!

Perfect Sopapillas as always! We get the beef and cheese (mine closed, meaning no lettuce or tomato on top) and they make them best here <3
