Hamburger Inn Diner

Service was phenomenal, food came out quick, hot, & delicious. Cutest little diner and aesthetically pleasing. Waitress was so helpful & caring. Would 100% recommend.
Everything reasonably priced as well!

Great diner ! Communal seating . The tables are connected along the counter . You will be eating next to a stranger, but there is plenty of arm and leg room between stools . Ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger with fries . 10 out 10 on the burger . All ingredients were fresh, and the food was made with care. Wife ordered biscuits and gravy. She is a bit of a gravy snob , she made the bold statement " best sausage gravy I've ever eaten." Highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch food . You can look at the menu online . We will be back for sure

So glad we found this place. Prolly some of the best burgers we have had in Ohio so far. It's crazy that they have Son of Thurman across the street and this joint has a bunch of awards including the best burger. Buns are freshly made and they use beef that hasn't been frozen. The fries are nice and crispy. We also got the cheese fries and gravy which is basically poutine. The breakfast menu looks legit as well. Definitely excited to come back. The Cinnamon rolls were pretty dang good too. They split them in half and warm them up on the grill. Service was great. The atmosphere is very old school. They even have their original menu on the wall.

Authentic, old school burger diner that is off the charts good. Quarter, half pr three quarter lbs, at a great prise. The great menu of burgers, hand cut fries, and their trademark Grilled Cinnamon roll- home made of course make this a diner to remember. I'm taking home half a dozen rolls for a Christmas weekend easy breakfast. Seating is all old school, bolt down stools at a wood counter. Sit next to someone new, make a friend, and enjoy a wonderful burger for a Hella good price.

Food was great, service was awesome!! The place and the bathroom was very clean!! Would definitely recommend and will go back when in the area!!

Seems they're doing much better now. Burger and fries were great, and their buns are perfect. Obsessed with cheeseburgers with grilled onions. This was like a super elevated gourmet White Castle burger

I took my twin teens to a diner first time in their life. They were hesitant at first but once they have seen the atmosphere and ambiance, they liked it. After they have tasted their burger and omelette with milkshake, they loved it!.

The place literally took me wife and I a tour in history lane, back to our college years!… Great old days!…

Service was excellent. I was able to give limited tips as a student in good old days but not this time!:-)

Great food. Burger very juicy and tasty. Service very friendly and place super clean and nice. Love it and highly recommend it. Dont miss on the mushroom swiss bacon.

I love this place - from the great food to the extremely worn countertops. I have probably eaten here more times than anywhere else in Delaware and I always suggest it to non-Delawarians as getting an authentic bite of the town. Never had a bad meal. And only been disappointed when they have run out of cinnamon rolls before I could order!

I come in almost every Sunday morning, love the food and the people they do breakfast and lunch all day which is great. Have been coming for a few months now and had never had a bad experience. I tell everyone I know about this little place, waitresses are amazing and always smiling. Unfortunately we had a not so great experience today there was a few forgotten items but the waitresses had no problem fixing the problem. Will definitely be back, my favorite breakfast place!

Had a late lunch here on Friday! Started with appetizers of Onion Rings and The Gravy Smothered Fries. Both were served Fast, Hot and were Delicious! Everyone ordered a burger and made it a Platter. 2-3/4lb burgers, a 1/2lb burger and a 1/4lb burger were then served. 2 with Seasoned Waffle Fries and 2 with Fresh Cut Fries. We had the Hangover Burger, Mushroom and Swiss, Greek Burger and The Western Burger. No one had any complaints! In fact we talked through our whole meal about the freshness of the ingredients and everyone was happy that they toast the inside of the buns! The patties were hot, juicy and cooked to Perfection. The ranch must be homemade, because I have never tasted a better ranch dressing. Same with the Tzaiki sauce on the Greek Burger. We were all surprised by the amount of fries that were served with the burgers. I don't believe anyone was able to finish their basket. We also had 2 Kids meals that were also larger than expected. The Sweet Tea was Amazing, as was the server, Chelsea,, who kept our glasses full. We sat on the sidewalk outside the restaurant and never felt like an after thought. With another well known restaurant across the street, we all decided, given the choice we would pick the Hamburger Inn Diner again and again!!
Finally, hag Breakfast today 12/17/2023. How have I never heard of a Reuben Omelette? It was amazing! Service was stellar as always. Apparently, the food is Delicious no matter what time of day, as breakfast is served all day everyday!

Fabulous find!! Wish we were locals as we’d come here often. Burgers were amazing! And being our first visit, you get a free GRILLED cinnamon roll to split. Wow!! Out of this world! And the waiting service was so friendly. Treated us like family. Plus I love the community seating!! A must stop if visiting Columbus!

Great food and amazing service. I got the ¼lb cheeseburger and fries. Also, I got the amazing cinnamon roll. That thing was huge!! Best tasting cinnamon roll ever.

This little gem in Delaware has some great food. It's got that old diner feel. Love the counter layout and the fact you can watch the guy making your food. Fries are fresh cut like at the fair. They just need vinegar with the ketchup. I got a Philly. My son got the Hangover Burger and my wife got the country fried steak. Everything was great. Only negative for me was the coke products but they didn't have an issue with me bringing in a bottle of Pepsi. They even got me a glass with ice.

I have to say it was such a heart break when covid came around and took all the late night places away! But I can tell you that it is such a relief that hamburger Inn got back to its roots and is now open 24/7 on Friday through Sunday! Delaware feels a lot more like home! The food is amazing and the service is outstanding! I don't think I'm alone when I say that the community is so happy! Thank you to all the servers, cooks and the owner for being up so late so that a bartender can have a place to eat! Much love and I wish the best to this place.

The burger and fries were amazing with homemade buns. The cinnamon rolls with white icing were amazing too. You have to ask for white icing though by default it comes with maple icing which I didn’t care for.

This place is amazing! It's community style seating so it doesn't hold more than probably 30 people but it is worth waiting for. I'm a sausage gravy snob and try it everywhere I go and this place , hands down, has THE BEST SAUSAGE GRAVY IN OHIO!. The burgers are just as delicious!! As for service, TOP NOTCH, everyone was attentive, kind and quick! The atmosphere itself is very welcoming and the smell of the grill will really pull you in. This diner is a MUST when you want some delicious hit the spot food!

My boyfriend works late hours (gets off around 1-2:00 am) we came in to eat and they were wonderful! We work opposite schedules so it is nice to have a sit down place to eat sometimes. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. 10/10 we're going back!
