Son of Thurman

Anytime we are in Delaware, we have to stop here. Make sure you come here hungry because the burgers are HUGE! They are so juicy and done perfectly. The fries are delicious too. You can split a burger but they charge a little extra for that. The atmosphere is fun. You usually wait a bit to get your food, even if it's not packed, but it's worth the wait. I haven't had a bad meal here!

Delicious burgers and huge portions! Never had anything bad here and a must stop for burger lovers. Fair warning though there does usually tend to be wait to get your food in my experience.

Hole in the wall bar that delivers on huge food portions. Fries were homemade and crispy, sandwiches can be split. Love the pizza and apps. Many large burger offerings, something for everyone. I do like this better than the original in downtown Columbus. Thank you Mindy for the great service!

Our review it’s based in multiple visits to the restaurant to be fair with our star’s review so we are going to grade it with honesty.

5. Free parking and sidewalk paid parking lots during day time night time is free.
6. Wheelchair access.
7. Friendly service and they are always happy to serve.
8. Nice environment.
9. Cozy place.
10. Fair price in comparison with all you can eat.
11. Perfect place for everyone.
12. Bring your family, friends, have a date etc. Amazing place.
13. If you love burgers this is a perfect place for you to come.
14. Food’s sizes A+.
15. Their wings are amazing.
16. This place was even our very first dinner right after getting married at the city hall so this place is special for us.

Absolutely fantastic burgers. Fries were fresh cut and so delicious. Burger was absolutely amazing. Out of towner and had an amazing time. Service was also amazing

Our server was one of the bartenders and she was delightful. Our friends recommended we try this place out and I was not disappointed. The burgers were juicy. The food came out quickly from the kitchen. And the other wait staff jumped right in to help when our server got busy and we needed something. I want to go back and try more of their burger designs very soon.

Our waitress was phenomenal. She really made it a great experience for our 2 kids. Really going above and beyond. The food was delicious and well worth it. Large portions and great flavors. Next time we are in town this is the first place we are going.

We enjoyed a great lunch at Son of Thurman’s in Delaware! The wait staff was amazing! The food was prepared perfectly! We had a mushroom burger with hand cut fries and a Jaeger burger with onion rings. We’ll be back for more!

I had a spicy bloody Mary that was so good!!! I got the A-1 burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious!!! I want to go back!

Took the wife here because she really wanted a good burger. We got onion rings for an appetizer. They were good, average onion rings. Wife ordered the bacon burger which was huge and she really enjoyed it. Bacon was crisp which is the way bacon should be. I ordered the Macedonian burger with extra feta cheese. It was really good. Our server Kim was super attentive and right on top of drink refills. We will definitely be returning.

For an awesome appetizer, try the Reuben Balls...delicious! Our burgers were cooked to perfection! Onion rings are beer battered and tasty. The atmosphere is casual, laid back. Service was excellent, drinks refilled promptly, appetizers brought out well before meal, and dirty dishes were removed right away. A bit pricey, but hard to complain after what I got. Excellent 👍

Pretty cool restaurant with a bar vibe. Went there for the thumanator burger because it was recommended to us. It did not disappoint in being a huge burger. 2 x 3/4 lb patties, bacon, cheese, ham, etc etc. I shouldn't have ordered appetizers because this burger was huge! Onion rings were really crispy too! Highly recommend if you like burgers

We were seated right away and I love how the staff was all so friendly and worked great as a team! Food was delicious and you can't beat orange cream soda on tap! Can't wait to come back, especially for the service!

We stopped here one day after going hiking. We had heard about their burgers on FB and from friends. It was just after lockdown and the restaurant and staff did an amazing job with being compliant and friendly. I especially love the $’s taped everywhere that go to charity when they fall. But then we received our burgers...! They were amazing and well worth the price and drive. We ordered the pizza burger, the cheeseburger deluxe, and the blue cheese burger (I cannot remember the name). FANTASTIC! The fries and chips were good also.

Drinks are flowing, atmosphere is lively and upbeat, and food is cooked to perfection! Burgers are enormous so come here with your appetite intact! Fries are even good! There is outdoor dining(weather permitting). Bathrooms are not clearly marked for the visually impaired. If the place was more packed it would be a challenge with a cane or a wheelchair. I got the BBQ burger, I added a fried egg on top of my burger. the meat was cooked to right request. the wait staff was really nice and helpful. I even watch the other wait staff just to be sure. This place has excellent food, cooked and served in a quality befitting of the menu prices. Makes the burgers taste that much better. fries were seasoned, firm but tender. Every bite I had, was full of flavor and it was delicious from the burger to the fries. they have a list of variations of burger so there's definitely something for someone. just bring an empty stomach because you're going to need it

Food was fantastic! Brought friends from out of town and they loved it as well. Dont have to only get a burger, their bologna sandwich is amazing as well. Service this night was not the best, but that seems to be an outlier. If you have the chance to checkout Delware and Thurmans, I would recommend it any day, just come hungry, so much food!
