Licking County Clerk of Courts - Legal Domestic Court

Everyone at the courthouse was extremely helpful in filing for my CPO. My situation is probably out of the ordinary and spans over 40 years. There is a lot of complex information to my request. I appreciate the time taken to carefully review such a long and drawn out statement of my current concerns in light of past behavior. Licking County courts and law enforcement truly care about their residents and want us all to be safe.

Carmen in Domestic Relations Division is such an asset. She was not only helpful, very knowledgeable, courteous, and had the information I was asking for quickly. A great employee! Thank you, Carmen for your assistance!

I wish I could give zero stars...or negative!! The whole domestic court and child support agency are a joke!! (If you're a man that is!!)
I raised my daughter on my own,with little to no financial help from "the mother", until she was 17 1/2, then I let her go live with her "mother" because that's what they both wanted. I agreed to give her custody and drop her back child support and we agreed there would be no support ordered. And on a side note the court never did anything to her for her lack of payment or financial help at all!
Then the good people of the court system stepped in and decided I should pay 500.00 a month for child support. And on another side note after my daughter moved in with her mom a month later she moved out and never lived there again...none of that matters though...the "mother" has other kids (that aren't mine) that she can't support on her own so apparently I'm doing that. The court decided against our agreement, (that I had to get her in court to admit to that we had)(did I forget to mention she is a liar?) except for the part where she got custody and her back support got dropped!! So they ordered her to pay 2000.00 a year that she didn't/couldn't pay and order me to pay 8000.00 for 1 year and she didn't even live there!! I will be glad when this is over and I am VERY glad I don't live in Newark because it would be horrible to pay city taxes to a system like that!! So unless you're a woman...good luck dealing with Licking County Domestic Court!! THEY SUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK!! (Unless you're a woman!!)
