Nosiest diner in town! We loved this place. No much space, but made up for it with great food and great service.
You can’t beat the prices or the fact that the owner is still serving tables. Felt like a hallmark movie scene.

Met Daisy and she is a hard worker. She really did a great job with things really busy.

The kitchen help got a bit loud with some “F” bombs. Wasn’t a good atmosphere for my 6 year old.

Other than the kitchen help comment, I would recommend this place as the food was done well and priced right.

The only place that seems to not be affected by pandemic. $6 for a whole plate of food. $1.50 for bottomless coffee. Service was excellent. Food came out quick and cooked properly. Also I would like to add that I have celiac disease and this place did not upset my stomach at all. Highly recommend this place to enjoy a great breakfast in a small town atmosphere for an amazing price.

Old fashioned diner that is family owned and operated. Daisy has been a cornerstone of Newark for decades almost 2 of those at this location. Quaint and charming with classic menu and down home style cooking. Breakfast served all day. MUST to visit if in Newark. You will be glad you did.

If you ever get the chance you must eat at Daisy's. It felt like I was eating at home not a restaurant. The service was awesome The staff was very inviting. It is a 5-star place in my book.

Intimate little dinner. Has a very Mom's kitchen feel to it. Service was great. Omelet was top shelf. I parked in front of it to walk to Moe's,seen a meal come out and gave it a chance. I'll be happy to go back.

Very unique, small diner in downtown Newark. Very good, filling and reasonably priced breakfast. Found Daisy's on a Google search and she didn't disappoint. We plan to try dinner sometime.

We went for breakfast. Only place near the square to sit down for breakfast. The service is nice, atmosphere is nice, it was not too crowded. It was clean, and prices are very reasonable. But the food is pretty average. Nothing at all was bad, just nothing special either. Specifically the potatoes needed more flavor.
I got the greatly priced daily special for $5 something which includes 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 toasts, and home fries, and my wife got an omelet for $8 something. Bottomless coffee was nice.
I'd go back again for sure.

First time stopping here and the food was amazing. Friendly staff that greets you the moment you walk in the door. Food is all made to order and if you have dietary restrictions they go above and beyond to help. Will stop here as often as I can since I live 3+ hrs away.

Delightful little diner with generous portions. Menu is limited but this quiet little restaurant is worth a stop. Daisy will likely serve you herself.

I have never had bad experience here. Daisy is so kind and sweet I look forward to her bright smile. Her coffee is awesome. My son actually found the place years ago he would walk with his family there from granville st for breakfast. Now he walks from down w.main just to enjoy breakfast and support a local family owned diner that is great...

The wife and I absolutely Love the mom and pop local owned places and try to support them whenever and wherever we can. Daisy's is a very welcome find to add to our list of places we enjoy frequenting. Breakfast was fantastic, pancakes were fluffy without being chewy, the sausage wasn't your typical preformed frozen pattie, and the Pile up was my personal favorite.

Very good food. Small location. Quick service. Seems like a mom and pop shop. Prices are cheap. The area around was really cute and historic.
