This is such a great place to work! The culture and professionalism are unmatched. It's so hard to find an environment that you truly enjoy being in. Getting to help the community and people is also a big part. If you want to work in a place that actually cares about you, I highly recommend it.

Such a great group of people at LC Transit. The employees ift each other up if someone is in need. Everyone there is there because they truly want to serve the community. Bonus: First Friday feast the food is delicious!!!!

I like it when my ride shows up right on time at quarter til, and sometimes shows up right on time in the middle between.

It strikes me they seem to be increasingly focused on making it impossible to actually schedule rides. At this point, one has to phone at four o'clock in the morning every day to try to schedule rides two weeks in advance, only to be told "there's just nothing available."
This happens routinely not just to me but to every customer I've spoken to, including elderly and handicapped people who end up stranded. If it's just simply not possible for this company to actually provide the service it was supposedly created for,, why are we paying for it?

Follow-Up: And the hits just keep coming. This afternoon, waited forty-five minutes in the rain to be picked up from work. Finally called to inquire what happened to my bus, only to be told I didn't have a ride scheduled. Considering I don't do that, I always make sure I'm scheduled a round trip, this was rather a surprise, particularly since I was now stranded. They did agree to send someone to take me home, but I'm no longer certain I can trust this place.

It is not the fault of the people in the office, but this supposed service for elderly and the infirm...needs a serious update. They claim a lack of drivers which is not a good excuse...hire more drivers, lack of equipment is not a valid excuse, our tax dollars pay for the service. Making people who depend on this service need to call two weeks in advance to maybe providing they have a driver or a bus to get the transportation. Having to continually cancel appoints because of not being able to arrange a ride is a bite. I had to cancel the previous appointment because I couldn't arrange a drive, and I was told to call today to make arrangements for a ride...well I've already called your number twice and left a message. Do I have to cancel the appointment again??
