Bummie's On Main

We stopped in and finally got a parking spot!! They have a good amount of parking just always busy! We grabbed dinner and a beer. We both got mushroom burgers. We loved that you can literally build your own which makes it delicious because you get just what you want. I went with fries, my husband got onion rings. The helpings are huge! We also got pretzels and both loved the dips that came with them. They have lots of bar seating and a good amount of tables. It’s a fun atmosphere and I love that they partner with a local brewery and offer Trek Brewing Solo Hike! I loved their other location before the fire so it’s great to see them in a new location and doing so well. Give Bummies a try! It’s definitely worth stopping in. We will be back to try more stuff on the menu. They have a kids menu as well as lots of options for adults!

This was my first time to come to this establishment. Emilie was our server and she was excellent. I asked for suggestions and she provided several good ones. We got the giant chese and bacon stuffed tots as an appetizer, the stake house burger with the horse radish and the Ruben, as main meals. The portions were very large and the flavor very good. The atmosphere screamed of 'murica and it was packed. I think it is an excellent chance to see a good local establishment, with great food. I definitely recommend trying this place out.

Great atmosphere, the pizza and wings were solid... Fries were fresh cut and delicious... I didn't get a pic, but apparently the burger is life changing...drinks stayed topped off... Wonderful service staff. Can't wait to go back to try the burgers and so much more!!

Food was fantastic! Service was good. The seating area is a little tight but nothing too bad. Overall a really nice place! Definitely recommend.

Additional space and parking from the previous location. It may get busy but overall it's a small wait but even sitting at the bar is an option for smaller groups or solo. Got the chicken cheese steak with onion rings. Cheesesteak done well and pretty large. Good portion of chicken and good taste. Onion rings are a large portion and while I actually prefer my onion rings thinner, they are battered and cooked well. The place hasn't missed a beat from the transition.

Wonderful food and staff. I highly recommend eating here if you haven’t!

Retro style restaurant with a decent menu.
It was the first day of opening so for the first day they did a great job trying to get all the tables taken care of.
The food was good and I'm hoping that as business slows down to normal it gets better.
One hour wait because it was opening day.
Overall I rate opening very, very good

Newark's best keep secret. Drove past this place for years. What looks like a dive bar from the outside actually has the best food in Newark. I would have never guessed! I've been here three times attempting to order a burger, but I can't get past the daily specials. The chicken sandwich is hearty and juicy, fish was cooked to perfection, and Reuben is the best in town. Whoever works the kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Prices are great for the quality and portion you receive. If I had to find something to criticize, it would be the atmosphere. What looks like a dive bar from the outside also feels like a dive bar on the inside. CCR on the jukebox and domestic beer advertising on all the walls, but that is the demographic in Newark, so I can't be mad about it. Overall, I 100% recommend for anyone. Can't wait to try the burger!

This place is great. The staff are very friendly and the food is great! Try the cheese steak burger!

First time in their new location! I had the Steak House Burger with mushrooms and grilled onions. They throw their own mayomix on it and this thing is ridiculously delicious!! Best Diet Pepsi I have had in weeks! Give it a try!

I have been to Bummies on Main 3 times now and I am sold. The food is excellent, if you want a good fish sandwich stop in and try their fish tail. I added an order of Keg Tots and I became immediately addicted.
If you're looking for a budget friendly place for lunch or dinner or something in between check them out.

Went here for the first time on 8/12/2023 everything was spot on .the food, the workers' great experience and food I'll be back for sure. I took a bite and put ketchup on the plate before snapping pic lol
Grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings !

This was our first time ever at Bummie’s on Main. It’s a very fun atmosphere with lots of returning customers. They have a great menu with lots of variety, but they are known for their burgers and pizza. Several friends have instructed us to try it out, so we did my wife had burgers, she the “Big Mac” style burger and I had the Ragin’’ Cajun. They were both large and delicious. The hand breaded onion rings are “fair quality” and really crunchy. We got a pepperoni pizza for later to eat during the OSU game the next day. Really tasty!

This was my first time here. The food was amazing, atmosphere was great and the service was awesome! I had an Italian sub and fries. My friends had a reuben sandwich, loaded fries, a cheesesteak sandwich and the others had burgers. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be back to try the other food on the menu!

100% on everything. Food is amazing! Portions are huge! Service was fast and kind! Atmosphere is welcoming and well decorated! Bar food... but next level for sure!

Bummies was very crowded for the holiday weekend, but we were seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly and helpful in choosing our sandwiches. Speaking of food the portions are large! We should have shared fries.

Onion rings best in ohio!! Top place to eat in newark in my opinion!

The food is great and the owners were very nice and welcoming. Another go to for my family. The parking lot isn’t great but you can find street parking if needed.

BUMMIES food was real good. The price was reasonable, staff was professional.
Atmosphere was good. Will go back in the future.
