Fetter's Dairy Isle

I thought this place was absolutely amazing. Their funnel fries are unbelievably awesome! I ended up getting a banana split along with them and could not eat the entire banana split. I would highly recommend this place not only for their food but their staff is extremely friendly. If you're looking for a place to sit down this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a place to grab some food and sit in your car or take it back to wherever you came from you found it.

We live in Akron, so when we get down there..the Dairy Isle is our first stop! The shredded chicken sandwiches are to die for and the vanilla milkshakes are far better than anything around here. The chicken is so simple, yet the flavor is the best! We've had a few things from there over time ranging from burgers, fries, onion rings, ice cream, etc...and it's always delicious. Staff is nice too, and it's just a quaint little spot for treats. Prices are definitely a plus, very budget friendly. Always look forward to coming into town!

Stoppes in for a quick lunch. Got a coney and Chicken sandwich. Both were the same as I remember. Nice to see some things stay the same!

Love all 4 dairy isles!! Super classic, old school Mom & Pop ice cream shops! Super sweet family! Worked for them as a teen and take my kids as a tradition now 😊 Not typical fast food, fresh and homemade so be patient when ordering hot items ❣ but completely worth it! Recommend their coneys and shredded chicken sandwiches but their burgers are delicious as well!

One of Newark's best ice cream takeouts. This place has been around as long as I can remember. They are open seasonally and the majority of the time when you pull up to the building they are packed. Wait times can be a bit long on occasion but that's most likely due to the fact they also serve food outside of ice cream. Food is mostly quick fryer food or burgers/hotdogs type stuff. I have never had a bad meal here and could recommend enough to try out different stuff on their menu. They offer several flavors of ice cream and tons of shake and twister options all of which are really good. They typically hire high school aged kids and it's often their first job, keeping that in mind staff and service can vary but in general are usually pretty great.

Best place to go in the summer for ice cream treats and coneys. Unfortunately, just like everything else, their prices are going up. It's not really a cheap place to go anymore for a meal of milkshakes, coneys and mushrooms. 😕

I'm so excited church Street is offering grublhub delivery. I got my order super fast. The food was hot and the shakes were perfect. I'm never disappointed with this dairy isle.

Great place for soft serve ice cream. I can get my favorite banana split twister with extra pineapple no chocolate here.

This place is amazing! The ice cream was fantastic, and there were SO MANY OPTIONS! I decided to splurge, so I got the German Chocolate twister, and they even added brownie pieces to it for me. I figure, the more chocolate the better since I was treating myself anyways haha I also got the peanut butter and chocolate funnel cake fries, and the fried mushrooms. The funnel cake fries sounded interesting, and I can never turn down the mushrooms, so I figured why not? Gotta treat 'yoself sometime, after all. The workers were all so helpful in making sure I got everything, and they were sweet in answering all of my questions since I'd never been to this location before. Definitely would go again!

The Dairy Isle is a local favorite! I love this place and have been going since I was a kid! They have the best soft serve strawberry ice cream hands down in the area! Their food is also tasty and reasonably priced! Definitely a place to bring the whole family for a sweet treat or even a quick, reasonably priced meal!

I have been going here for over 30years. Staff are friendly. Delicious, quick take out food. Milkshakes are the BEST!!!!!!!

Would recommend going! Place is usually crowded and busy but the ice cream is good and pretty cheap. They got real good fried pickles and other food items. Only one lady was rude in the few times I've been there so gotta appreciate that.

Place wasn't very crowded. I went there with a friend to get ice cream a while ago. The workers were nice and it didn't take very long. I even had a quick conversation and a laugh with some of the people inside. Definitely going back next time I'm craving ice cream

Loved it I got a Smores twister that is my favorite.

The Buckeye twister is delicious. The amount of "candy" pieces varies based on who is working that day, but I've never gotten what I thought was too little. They are friendly and quick with getting you your order.

Plain and simple, good comfort food. I wouldn't call it fast food cause they do it mostly by hand in a pretty small space. Workers have a great attitude and always smile.

The food was good service good except didn't get all the order. Luckily we discovered before we left. They made it right. Very good coneys
