The shrimp chowder alone is worth the trip.
We had the brisket sandwich and fish fry. Sooo good. The service was fantastic!

Absolutely amazing place to eat and grab drinks! COD was so buttery and amazing, the GODDESS wrap was to die for and we were taken care of so well! Awesome time and will ALWAYS come here! YOU SHOULD TOO!

The atmosphere was great, food was delicious and staff was exceptional! First time visiting and we will definitely make it our "must stop" places to eat when in the north woods.

Best wings I’ve ever had! Fresh, meaty, no breading, great sauce. Grilled salad was great.
Summertime outdoor shrimp and Tacos are fantastic! Good selection of micro brews.

The restaurant was very busy and should have had more help. However, the one server they had was great. She was able to take orders quickly and get drinks served quickly. To help her out the chef was delivering the food. The food tasted very good.

Walleye fish fry was lightly breaded with a crispy corn meal recipe that was 😍😍😍 — highly recommend!

Nice. Newly opened restaurant. They were busy, but we were able to get seated immediately. I had the walleye that was tasty with a corn meal/ crumb coating. Lightly seasoned waffle frys and coleslaw (I would have preferred not to have red pepper in it) were also served. My only complaint was that the portion was too large and only offered in one size.

Went there on a busy Saturday night. Food was delicious. Server was great even as the only server with 9 tables that were always full. Great atmosphere. Would go back.

We love this place. We stop in for a round of drinks on the way to Watersmeet every time we visit friends there. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, as are the staff. The prices are very nice. Yesterday, we found out about the take-n-bake pizzas and, since we knew we'd arrive at our friend's cabin too late to cook and too late to go out somewhere, the pizzas sounded like a good idea. And they were great!

We stopped by for a beer and ended up having dinner. The wings were some of the best I've ever had. The shrimp appetizer was excellent.

For our Friday fish fry, had the poor man's lobster and wild rice. So good.

Baked cod was very good on the Friday fish fry! Excellent service.

We have eaten at Boulder Beer Bar many times and have always been satisfied with our visits! Today we stopped in for a late lunch and a few cocktails, I must say today’s visit was exceptional!! The food was excellent…… we had onion rings for an appetizer, they were excellent! Hot, crispy and breaded perfectly! I had a chicken wrap with French fries, my husband had a Dean’s cheesesteak sandwich with French fries! Beth was our server/ bartender… she was very busy but didn’t miss a beat! She handled everything with a smile! I wish more restaurants in our area had such great food and service! If you haven’t stopped there, stop in …. you won’t be disappointed!! Amazing!
I got the smoked brisket sandwich and it was perfect.
The meat was juicy and had a nice smokey flavor as advertised. Sauce was very tasty and the onion rings added a nice crunch when you bite into it. Would absolutely recommend

This place is great! We rode our bikes here from Firefly campground. The beer is great and they have about ten craft beers on tap. The bartender was great and very nice to us. We enjoyed talking with her. There was a wait for a table when we went so we ate at the bar which was a lot of fun. We got the Friday walleye fish fry. It was great! The queen size was more then enough for each of us. I will definitely go here again the next time I'm in town.

Just stopped through on our way home and grabbed lunch to go. Very fast, friendly, and accommodating. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. We had the burgers and they were fantastic. The server had everything setup for us to eat outside like a picnic. Definitely stop in when they open up again soon!

Their house-battered cheese curds, onion rings, and mushrooms were so delicious. Paired with the house-made chipotle ranch, I stuffed myself before I had a chance to try my blackened walleye BLT and their house-smoked brisket. I’m no foodies, but I do love a great meal and this one clearly was made by a kitchen that loves what they do. The bartender, Carly Jo, and badass GM, Krysal, we’re there to chat with and made us feel super welcome. It’s fishing opener this weekend so the customers at the bar were more than happy to talk about where they were from and give me their opinion on if it was going to be a good weekend or not. Super clean, friendly, and excellent service.

Wonderful food! And great service! The owner, Jesse smokes his own meats, and is a very talented chef! Have tried sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, nachos, soup, salads and all were very good! Lots of great beer choices too.

Stopped in for lunch for the 1st time today. Fantastic! The menu was filled with tempting offers. It was tough to choose! I had the Cuban which was excellent. I chose warm cajun potato salad as my side & was not disappointed - the Chef has style & talent! My companion had the walleye sandwich - large portion of fresh, expertly prepared fish. The sweet potato fries were the best we've had. Our server Cheryl was a treat. my only regret? Not trying the creamy BLT soup. We'll be back! I'd be remiss if I didn't add they pour a helluva good drink, as well. Nicely done BBB!

I could eat at this place everyday for the rest of my life! It's been a family staple for decades. They have the best cheese curds you can find! Great selection of delicious sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and beers.

If I had to nitpick, they don't split checks nor do they do refills on sodas... I've never heard of that. Still five stars for me.
