Monical's Pizza

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and it’s still to this day the best pizza I’ve ever had. Dave Portnoy would easily rate this in the 9’s on his scale. If you like thin crust pizza you need to try these pies. Because this place sells the best pizza around you might have to wait a little to get a seat. That alone should tell ya this place is good. But a small wait with a bloody or beer from their great bartending staff is a small price to pay for the pizza that awaits you.

We have been coming here about twice a year for over 15 years. Finally, I decided to post a review. I love pizza, and this is my favorite. It needs to be the thin and crsipy crust though...don't bother with the pan pizza. You also need to start with the family salad. It is simple but always cold and fresh! Their french dressing is also the best! I can not speak for anything else on the menu, as I always get the pizza. They also have a good selection of beers on tap. It is a smaller place with limited seating, so not ideal for a large party. Enjoy!

Monical's Pizza is fantastic! The pizza is great, our favorite is the thin crust. The pizza only takes about 15 minutes to come out, and is really tasty. The atmosphere feels a lot more like an up north bar, they have a bar where you can get drinks and eat if you'd like. Otherwise there are nice views out across the lake in the dining room. If you aren't into the atmosphere, no worries because you can just get the pizza to go (which we do often)! Highly recommend this place to anyone, it's a town favorite!

Arrived on a Friday evening at 5pm. Place was packed with people. We were told about a 45min wait. In 20 min we were seated.

Pizza wait time was just enough time to eat our huge family salad.

Pizza was fantastic. Super thin crust.

You cant go wrong eating here.. go early or late to miss the crowds.. but do go..

They have gluten free crusts and total vegetarian options if needed.

Wheel chair accessible entrance. Hightops in the bar area where you can eat as well as the bar during rose really busy times.

Great views of the water as well.

This local hangout had a nice selection of food on the menu. It is a bar in the front with tables in the back overlooking the lake. The thin crust is really thin. The sauce had good flavor. I really liked that I could get a decent priced pizza for one person. As others have said, it is a little loud. Be prepared to wait for s table at dinner time. This is not a fast food joint, but worth the wait.

The thin crust pizza is ahhh-mazing! Might even be the best pizza I’ve ever had! Too bad it’s so far from where I live (maybe they’ll consider opening one in GB some day) 😉

Had garlic bread with mozzarella cheese for an appetizer. Was not impressed. Tasted very generic, right out of the freezer into a toaster over. Bread was not crispy, in fact soft and almost soggy. Had a thin sausage and mushroom pizza. Crust was very thin and crispy!! Delicious!!! Sauce and sausage was very tasty. Will definitely return for the pizza but not the garlic bread!! Server was not overly friendly...she was busy...but attentive.

Great pizza on the lake. Great sauce on that pizza! Service is excellent! All the food is of high quality! Jackie the owner is wonderful.

Spaghetti and meatballs are outstanding. Never had a bad meal here. Drinks are always 👍. Been here a few times now and will be back again. Thanks

Always our favorite pizza spot in the Northwoods. Their thin crust pizzas are my go-to. Always great service whether you dine in or carry out!

Had an excellent thin crust pizza with fresh garden salads. Server was very polite and attentive. View of lake with loon on a nest was enjoyable. Our first visit and will plan to return soon.

Garlic bread & Pizza was really good....

The pizza is worth an out of your way drive. The waitress was busy but we weren't neglected. The atmosphere is Northern Wisconsin bar, fun but nothing special unless that is what you are looking for (we were), then it fits the bill.

We love Monical’s and this one has a view of a lake and a full bar. Service is always excellent. Don’t forget a bottle of salad dressing to go!

Great pizza and salads! Our favorite pizza place in the Northwoods. Easy to call and pickup in 20 minutes!

Great pizza and breadsticks define this place. The restaurant itself is a tad small, with about 12 tables and a bar area. Their thin crust is heavenly - cracker-thin and the toppings are plentiful. The view of the lake is gorgeous - we were lucky enough to see a doe and her fawn drinking water. There's a handful of games and several claw machines, including a play-til-you-win version perfect for the kid who hates to lose. The place can be busy and they often can't get to the phone right away, so keep calling until you get through. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Great place, great view! We had their GF pepperoni and a thin crust pineapple olive, tasted great, would definitely recommend you stop in!

Super crispy crust which is just how we like it! Cute view and easy enough parking. There are game machines for kids to play too which was nice because it got them further than leg length away after being in the car for 5 hours.

This place was busy, so we sat at the bar. We had a thin crust 16" sausage and mushroom pizza and it was excellent. One of the best thin crusts I've had. The crust had a crunch and stayed that way for the entire meal. Pizza was perfectly cooked. Good atmosphere. We will visit again!
