Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

The food was great . This is the first time eating at a Perkins since ours closed due to COVID 19 .

Even though they are working short handed we had a great dining experience. Our waitresses was great, friendly and helpful. Our food was very good, brought out fast and perfect. Great way to start your day!

The waitress was very friendly. The restaurant is short staffed and they let you know that on the way in. Even so, we didn't have to wait for anything. The omelette was good. My husband like the brioche french toast.

They were super short staffed and overwhelmed on fathers day. We waited a good while to be seated. The staff that was there was working super fast and hard, I wasn't upset at all. Food was great, tipped well. You girls were rockstars on fathers day.

Food was enjoyed by all 5 in the family!! Ages 5, 13, 14 and two adults. Very good!! Also the waitress and service was amazing! Only downfall is the hostess. She was very rude to us immediately. Not only rude but had us going back n forth just out of spite! When we arrived we waited in front area, standing there for 10+ min and assumed it was seat yourself, as theres were a ton of open tables and nobody acknowledged us.So we chose one, we apparently missed the "wait to be seated" sign on podium that she rudely pointed out. She was upset that we sat. Made us get up and after we walked back to front, told us we could return to the table we were at already. Just immature for a 50+ yr old woman!
Otherwise though, excellent experience there. Will return next time in town.

Our group of 8ppl (5 adults, 1 teen, 2 kids) came in for breakfast after our week-long vacation in the area. We were immediately advised that there was only 1 server, and we all agreed that was no problem. The manager, Amanda, was fantastic, and our server (can't remember her name for sure, but want to say Andrea???) was completely, incredibly amazing. Totally calm, dealing with a full restaurant along with my dad's requests for more decaf every 3min (minor exaggeration, but seriously). The staff at this location is to be commended for their performance under pressure, and their high level of customer service. Would 100% recommend them to other visitors in the Minocqua area (I assume the locals know what a gem they have). 5 stars, full marks, all the kudos to the team working 6/19 AM shift. Give them all raises!! <3

Always great, fast-friendly service! Delicious food and bakery for the whole family. Bathrooms are always very clean too. Take it from my son the chicken noodle soup is the bomb, he orders it every time we stop! 😁

Quick lunch with an old friend. Went there because of the recently advertised special. It had been several years since I had been there. OMG, it was SO good! I WILL be back soon.
I ordered the Burger + fries + pie special ($9.99). Several burger and pie options to choose;; I had the turkey burger and berry pie. Food was excellent. I had forgotten how good the French fries are, but my sandwich was delicious and the berry pie was a great way to finish the meal.

They are short staff (like most places), but once we were seated we had excellent service. Great breakfast menu.

The waitress Tammra, was probably one of the best I have ever had. Very attentive to her customers, Great personality and very friendly. Food was good. I will come here again.

This is another restaurant my parents love to bring me to while I visit them in Northern Wisconsin. The Assistant Manager is always friendly and loves to joke around which is common in the area where my parents live. The food there is great with large portions at good prices. So, if you are in the Woodruff are come by and visit!

Tamara is the reason we stayed. I had asked to see a menu to check if any meals were vegan. Tamara, a vegetarian and our server, assisted me in finding a breakfast to enjoy. The mushroom and spinach skillet without eggs or cheese was so good. I had not been to a Perkins in a long while. Thanks to Tamara I have another option when traveling.

We stopped with our 3 rambunctious preschoolers, for a late dinner (after 8 pm) on our way home from farm machinery shopping. The kids were tired, loud, and obnoxious from being cooped up in the vehicle too long. Staff was great about getting us seated quickly, food served as quickly as possible, and consistently checking in on us, refilling drinks, etc.

This is a place that brings back warm memories of breakfasts with Mom. Due to limited staff, the service is slower, but always pleasant and the food is simple & delicious.

The young lady that took care of us was professional and on the ball they were short staffed but noone waited for the food very long. Food was excellent.

Perkins is always my go to restaurant for any meal of the day. The waiters (Woodruff, Wisconsin) are amazing at their jobs. They're kind, humorous, and from what I've seen- passionate. Their Serloin Steak topped with garlic butter is what I always order, and is always great each time. Perfectly cooked to my expectations, and I've never once regret my decision to dine at Perkins. Great place!

Awesome! Anna was a great waitress/server and tended to all of our needs. She went above and beyond. It was my first time visiting your establishment here and she made it enjoyable. Thank you!

Friendly staff, great food, even though they had a sign that said they were short staffed we didn't notice any delay our food came in timely manner was hot, and wonderful.
