Dirko's Pizza

I've never tried dinning in so I'm not sure what the atmosphere is like but they get a 5 star for the kitchen sink pizza alone. We've been ordering from them off and on since they opened a location here in Newark and they've never disappointed us. Stromboli are amazing as well and usually what we get to go along with the kitchen sink.

Just started working here. It's a great work environment. The staff is friendly. Never had the food before I started here. Now i don't know why i didn't try their food before. It's delicious and homemade. The picture i am adding below is a kitchen sink pizza with double cheese. I recommend the double cheese to keep all the ingredients on top. 😁

Great customer service! I love their stromboli and their pizza. Plus, they deliver to us in the country.

What a wonderful surprise! I had an extra large pepperoni pizza for my families first experience with this restaurant and wow!! If you're looking for great pizza then stop looking and call Dirko's Pizza. I look forward to trying out their other menu items in the not so distant future. I have been ordering dirkos since the 90s. The Stromboli and pizza are exactly the same now as they were then. Great tasting food and always friendly staff. The prices are reasonable for the portions.

The stromboli was amazing and came with a tub of sauce. Well worth the price and the pizza & jalapeno poppers are good too!

If you love cheese they never skimp on it! Enjoy!

Great pizza and an Excellent stromboli!

Nice thing crust with loads of toppings.

Definitely one of my go to spots for pizza. The stromboli is unmatched in this area. Don't be afraid to customize the stromboli or check out some of their creations.

This is the place of places. There was a mistake made and they took care of it immediately. I have nothing but great respect for the people who run the place and for the people who work in it. I appreciate all that is done and I'm going to try to use those for people who I can contact and who I can use when I start doing my artwork again. Thank you very much.

I highly recommend the pizza, but the Italian stromboli is amazing!!

My siblings and I grew up on Dirkos.
I haven't had it since they closed the Columbus(Cleveland ave) location.
It was amazing and omg the nostalgia!
The all the way pizza was truly wonderful.
The double Italian sub was huge and very filling.
Absolutely delicious.

One of the best Stromboli around!

We've been ordering from dirko's on East main Street in Newark since they opened and we've always had a wonderful experience with the delivery and the quality of the food. Definitely would recommend.

Very good pizza and the best stromboli I ever had the get your order done within 30 min and the pizza is always hot and there pizza has toppings from edge of crust to edge of crust so unlike the other places I have eat pizza your getting a taste of each topping with every bite

Dirko's Newark provides a wonderful meal and if it's not up to standard (extremely rare) they are sure to alleviate any problems kindly and promptly. Their stromboli is the best I've ever had and the employee's hearts are as big as the XL pizzas they serve.

Dirkos is one of the best pizza places in Newark... i put it in the top 3... i might add that all 3 of the top are all number 1s since they are all unique in the individual ways. But back to Dirkos... its not just a pizza shop... they have a sammich menu as well plus several other Italian dinners like lasagna, spaghetti and more, and also some good strombolis that are worth it... my personal favorite is the kitchen sink pizza which as the name implies is very loaded with just about every thing but the sink... you realize how much when you pick up the pizza... it weighs in at about 20 lbs i think.
Anyway Drikos is worth the trip... so go enjoy you sum... you will not be disappointed.
