Christy’s Pizza

Stumbled upon this place back in 2019 and it’s a regular every time I stay in Newark. Being from the south, I feel at home with the way the staff treats you. They are always super friendly, things are laid back and old fashion, and the service is always respectful and prompt. I eat way too much each time I come but the short walk back to the local hotel balances it out. There is a ton on the menu but I always end up with the garlic cheese bread and sausage pizza. They have Dr. Pepper which is awesome too.

My son has apartment in Newark. Every chance we get we go to Christy’s Pizza. We sometimes make special trips to Newark just to go to Christy’s. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. Pictured is what we got yesterday. Delicious. Added a more recent pic of my son and larger pizzas.

Delicious, consistent pizza. They use a sweet pizza sauce and the cheese is always perfect. I'm not a fan of their sausage but that's ok. Also their bread sticks without cheese are craveable!

One of the best pizza places in Newark. The fact that they've been around as long as they have is proof of that. My wife and I have been getting pizza here for our entire marriage as a treat now and then. Huge thank you to their crew who always seem to be working their butts off. You are appreciated!!!

I got a sample of a bunch of items. The macaroni salad is like your grandma made. The coney dog, mini all the way pizza, and Christy’s Delight sub were so good. Then the homemade chocolate chip cookies were the bomb! I’ll definitely be returning!

Christy’s is one of my favorite local pizza places. Locally owned and friendly. I love their sauce which has just a little bit of a sweet taste to it but not over done. Their crust is flavorful and isn’t super thin or thick. Very rare crust thickness which I find perfect. Plenty of cheese on every pizza. Their pick up large 1 topping special is a great deal, especially with prices climbing at the rates they are. I grew up on Christy’s and continue to eat here frequently!

It's a local based pizza shop. Pizza is great. I always do pick up orders . Wait time is usually always about 20 mins , so by the time you drive there food is ready.

Quaint pizza shop downtown Newark. Warm and friendly reception at this local favorite. Diverse menu with traditional Italian dishes and subs as well. I tried the specialty thin crust, Hawaiian pizza, with Ham, pineapple, mushrooms, toasted shredded coconut and almonds. Delicious! Plan to work my down the menu in the future.

Food is probably the best in town, constantly good,an at a good price,I get turkey subs an salads mostly an ther always fresh an tasty,I also get the all the way pizza again the best in Newark!!!

Great food at a small pizza diner. Loved their cauliflower crust pizza. Within walking distance of the Midland Theater.

Christy's pizza is the best pizza I have had in a long time !! I don't like spicy hot seasiong but this pizza was perfect. Highly recommended.

I love love love, this place I tell them Everytime they need to come to zanesville it will be a staple I will drive just to get there 😋 delicious pizza it's sauce is so unique they have good salads people friendly always smiling 😊 always been a staple in my family!!
