Wonderful local spot! The entire staff was extremely nice, including the owner. The staff all worked together at a fast pace which was really nice so we never felt bad going to either of the people that helped us. The waits to be seated were long however people waited including us because all the customers were super excited to eat there especially because of the Saturday steak. My husband said it was one of the best steaks he has had and we have had some very good steaks. We ordered a couple appetizers, sides, dinner, and even dessert. The food is all incredible here! They met all our needs for great service and food! Thanks soooo much! We will be sure to return!!!!

The food is all excellent and there is so much! Definite bang for your buck. The dessert is also delicious. We had Dave as our server and he was a delight! Super attentive and helpful and nice :)
The tavern is very cozy so can be a bit noisy and warm but that can be nice when wanting to talk with people at the bar. All together a must go if you are local or in the area

Love this local dive! Over the years this place has become increasingly popular and for good reason-- the food is amazing! With Tony behind bar and Tom as our attentive server, we love coming in for a frosty glass of Moosehead and a massive burger or wings. Kudos to the chefs who are always adding new and exciting menu items! The place is a total hole in the wall, but don't read this book by it's cover-- it's worth the wait-- the staff and food are awesome!

Very outdated little place, certainly a gem. Tommy was our server and his service was outstanding. Thank you Tommy. Food was delicious, cajun shrimp, chicken wings, trufle fries,fish everything was so enjoyable.
The only negative thing is draft beer price. $7.95 for an IPA is the most I've paid anywhere , please lower the price on the beer and we will be returning guests every week.

Very nice, good food, good service. Quite a different menu, which sePerates them from just some bar food. Much, much better. Consider for this area, close to fine dining. And decently priced. I highly recommend the marble caprese salad. $4, not real big, not real small. Perfect select of flavors.
Also this establishment has fresh mojitos, they grow their own mint, which makes a world of difference. $7 cost.
If you are looking for a packed, very busy atmosphere, then join them on a Friday evening 5:00-8:00. More then likely you may have to wait for a seat. Other then that direct time. It's more laid back. With normal amount of clientele.
$19 .. 12 oz new York. Best value on steak.
And something most restaurants do not offer is duck breast. $18.
Also, want to mention a phenomenal carrot puree. Very good.

Absolutely delicious food! Burgers and Chicken Sandwich was amazing and cooked perfectly! Peirgoies were awesome too. Service was very friendly!

It was very cozy and very busy! The food was very very good. The creme Brule is to DIE for! Bathrooms were clean, staff was excellent. No complaints what so ever!! We be back! Drew was absolutely lovely.

The food is amazing! We came because it was well rated and it exceeded our expectations. I had the “Blue Plate Special” which was smoked sausage, pierogis, green beans and spiced apples. The flavors were amazing. The green beans are beyond compare. Did they sprinkle unicorn dust on there? The staff was also delightful, friendly, and helpful. I can’t recommend it enough.

We always have a great time at Teschner's! The atmosphere is fun and the food is beyond outstanding! My wife and I travel from California to visit family in the greater Cleveland area and we always have a craving to dine at Teschner's to see what's new on the menu. I envy the locals who have this culinary gem to experience.

Teschner’s Tavern is a nice, quiet little spot in Richfield to just pop in and smash back a bunch of PBRs.

Update years later in 2023: I used to come here in my early 20’s for $1 PBRs when I was a broke, struggling college student. This year was my first time actually trying the food and, my god, every plate was pure art. People there are amazing. We did a food review on the ‘Dining With Doan’ TikTok channel and genuinely had a blast. This place is an absolute gem.

Inside atmosphere feels like home. The outside was beautifully festive with harvest decorations provided by Luther Farms and Countryside Florist. There was even a friendly cat outside protecting from mice.

Go to Teschner’s and try the food—ALL of the food is outstanding.

We love this place! The food is always great (since moving to Hinckley we eat here at least once a wee). We enjoy trying new places but we always find ourselves coming back here as we always have great food, great service and consistently!!!!

1st time there. My friend told me about this gem. The service was fantastic and the food made it even better. Will be back . We all ordered burgers. Amazing

Flavorful burgers and tasty flat bread sandwiches. Outdoor dining, the bar has see through dividers and the staff wears masks. All bases covered. Nice pool table for those who want to drink and play.

Unassuming front, smaller dining area. Fantastic staff, and my dinner was very good. I had the Blue Plate Special, because I haven’t had solid pierogis in a long time.

The pierogis (as well as the sauerkraut rolls, so I was told), are made by Pierogis of Cleveland. The kielbasa was a bit salty, I won’t lie, but that’s a common issue, I’ve found. The beans and applesauce were also very good.

This definitely seems to be a favorite for locals, the parking lot was pretty full when I pulled in between 7:30-8 on a Tuesday night. I would absolutely return.

We found this place on a whim while heading from ytown area ti cleveland Airport. We'll, this is now going to be a destination to bring friends and family!! Well be back!!!!!

After living only 7 miles away from this gem for over 10 years, this was our first time in. I was tired of the same old places and wanted to try something new to us. Little did I know that this Richfield staple was so close by and so good. We were lucky we didn't have to wait for a table. The space is small and perfect. It took a while to figure out what we wanted as they have quite a selection of options. Even for my vegetarian diet. The brussell sprouts were tasty and unique. The marble caprese salad was yum and my husband had nothing but great things to say about the Cubano sandwich. Oh and the cheescake dessert..heavenly. Priced very reasonable for the menu and quality of food. The staff was beyond friendly. Kudos to this family for keeping this gem alive and thriving in the community. Thank goodness I wanted to try something new. We will be back!

Food is always delicious here. Small mom and pop place with everything made from scratch.

Teschners is definitely my favorite place to get food when I’m up visiting my dad! The Mac and cheese is to die for!! The service is amazing, the food is phenomenal!!!!!! Trust me once you go you’ll never wanna stop, lol very friendly staff too!!!! If you haven’t gone already I HIGHLY recommend!!
